Went to the mall to meet bf for dinner. We strolled and searched for a restaurant we never tried before. "Teriyaki boy" was the one 128107

The place was a bit small but it was okay. Looking from the outside it was spacious occupying a corner space in Annex. I have to compliment their staff for being so accommodating and kind. They always ask us if we ever need something or refill our water. Kudos for that!

So for our orders:
127857Tori karaage - the karaage was very different from the picture and to what was served to us. But the taste was good especially when dipped with the Teriyaki sauce. There were also chips included but it was very salty.
127836Chashu ramen - Love! The meat is so tender plus the noodles were tasty.
127834Yakimeshi rice - Not your ordinary fried rice. But nothing special when it comes to the taste.
127865Mango shake - very tall mango shake! Sulit 128077

Overall - I liked it! happy how our simple dinner turned out! 128540

Please recommend a good restaurant with an authentic jap cuisine if you do have in mind?128521 thanks!

A date with my Ashteh :)

We had a California Maki 127843127833 to start our dinner.
She had a Tanmen Ramen, and she did liked it.
I had a Sukiyaki Beef Teppanyaki Don, it was okay but then I just didn't liked their rice because it doesn't even stick to my chopsticks. I remembered, even in the hotel they had a hard time to purchase jap rice, maybe the didn't gotten jap rice too. So, I didn't complain about it.

I liked the place bec it wasn't that packed and the service was attentive :)

Teriyaki Boy will always be my go-to place for affordable japanese food. I always get the tempura tuna tartare, spicy salmon gunkan, and a bowl of japanese fried rice. When I'm really hungry, I also get the teriyaki boy chicken don.

Teriyaki Boy has changed over the years, as personally I think it sort of became a bit like regular fast food chains.

Teriyaki Boy is one of those restaurants that are dependable when you don't want to be adventurous or you don't have time to look around where to eat.

As a Japanese restaurant, we always order the salmon sashimi. But with Teriyaki Boy, we cannot do away with Teriyaki Boy Chicken. The salmon and the chicken is enough to fill up our hungry stomachs.

Teriyaki Boy never fails to satisfy my frequent Japanese food cravings. The store ambiance is quite nice and vibrant. They offer pretty much a good mix of Jap dishes in their menu. I always order the california roll and Salmon Sashimi-- the best! But if you want to get out of the normal sushi make, try their philadelphia roll and tempura tuna sAshimi tartare! :) very delish! I also like their tofusteak matched with their sukiyaki soup with rice.. its only weird of me perhaps to say that their signature dish which is the teriyaki boy chicken is the only thing i dont quite patronize from this resto. :)
