I know that there is a handful of better japanese places out there, but theres really something very comforting about eating at teriyaki boy. For me, teriyaki boy never gets old.

I've been ordering the same thing for years-yakimeshi and tempura. Always. Their yakimeshi is generously filled with pork, carrots, onion, garlic, egg, and chives. The rice is very flavourful and can be eaten by itself. Their tempura is often a hit or miss. Today it was spot on! Fresh shrimps fried in new oil, drained properly, and the batter isnt all that thick.

Good food and good service today.

Everything was so oily today!

The tempura and yakimeshi tasted like old oil, and both left a rancid taste in my mouth.

The only thing i liked today was my crunchy maki roll - thats only because i scraped the fried part off.

Food quality and service at this branch are good.

I really liked the crunchy maki. Its a steal for 129.

The tempura is good too. A little small, but the flavour is good.

Wasnt a fan of the yakimeshi (fried rice). It was a little too "gamey" tasting for me. I expected it to be lighter.

Food was okay.. The philly rolls were awesome!!! This is the only thing which we loved and the rest was so so.. The chicken something is super oily!! The chips that came with it is not crunchy anymore so i think it's old already? The katsudon was also a so so a bit on the sweet side and it lacks the balance of saltiness and sweetness that's why it's nakakaumay (sorry for being conyo hahah) the service was great tho!

Food is ok. Service? Hmm. They're not that attentive in refilling our iced teas. Like I only had 2 small glasses. The place is not crowded naman eh. A little pricey.

Birthday lunch of my sisterette Jassy 128522128525128536
We should have went to Vikings but it was jam packed.. We were the 164th and 165th persons waiting.. Can you imagine? 164th person?! 165th person? OMG... They are having a blast this Holiday..
Oh well, going back to Teriyaki Boy.. I always order their philly cheese steak whenever I visit this place. Its cheesy and meaty.. Haha I like it, 128077128540
We also had tori karaage.. Actually, I wanted to have buffalo tori karaage but it was super duper spicy.. So I tried to ask if they can lessen the spice a bit and they had it separated from the sauce, which I greatly appreciated.. Thumbs up to that one 128077
My sister ordered katsudon.. Its so-so.. Hahha
Nothing special. Hahha

It's tradition for us to go out and eat every Sunday w the whole fambam but my parents are out for this week. So, instead of asking our helpers to cook and we're too lazy to drive around, my brothers and I decided to have food delivered! 128055

Teriyaki Boy was the winner and since we're in the Rizal area our food came from SM Marikina branch. --that's why this is for that branch of TB :)

128079128079128079128079128079 I commend their delivery although it takes quite a while (1hr-90minutes) they still managed to deliver! (pun totally intended)

We ordered
Philly Cheese Steak Roll -it was ok it had that cheesy flavor but not so much the steak flavor.

Chicken Teriyaki -how can we not order this? It had that usual teriyaki fast food taste--sweet & salty.

Chashu Ramen --now I'm not a fan of ordering ramens at fast food chains because I know the taste of legit ones and I don't want to be mean --maarte-- about the taste so I asked my brother how it tasted and he said it tasted like it was instant...oh well what do you expect...it's fast food, after all.

Gyoza --it was still good, not as crispy as we would have liked it to be but of course it was delivered so what can we do... :)

Yaki Soba- tasted like pancit canton according to my other brother.

And finally the item that we were all excited for...

Ebi Tempura --this is what carried the whole rating for me because it was amazingly still crispy! Like totes amaze! It wasn't as crispy as the ones they serve in the chain but what the heezy right? It's still crispy!

-1 127775 for the other items that didn't quite make our standards.

588-2468 I am now endorsing their delivery hotline along with Pancake House's. 128514128514128514

The food that Ive tasted here are all good and delish! For appetizer we ordered, kaitai maguro sushi, it also has a creamy sauce. We ordered teriyaki ramen, and it was my first time to have teriyaki in a noodles. Its so easy to chew and its not that salty. The best katsudon can be found here at Teriyaki Boy, i liked the contrast of flavors in that bowl, theres a sweetness in katsudons covering and saltiness of eggs. We had matcha green tea ice cream for dessert and it was the one ive been looking for, matcha is known for green tea coloring for frappes, milk tea and to my surprise they do have matcha as an ice cream, i just didnt like the crispies beside it, maybe next time i would just ask them to remove it prior to serving. ;)

Big fan of their katsu based dishes, cheap and filling but of course nothing like yabu.

Always been a fan of jap curry thats why their curry katsu is a must try. Their tofu steak is also something worth getting, the best ive had so far.

Now whats japanese food without some ramen, well i dont go here for the ramen, based on multiple visits in different branches, their soup alwas is not piping hot, they serve your ramen with the broth poured in front of you from a teapot, at first it looks hot with the steam and all but i think they use cold noodles that was refrigirated thats why the broth turns lukewarm upon first sip, i would much rather eat ramen at moshi koshi which is in the same price range for ramen
