I liked it! You will be delighted with this Beef Teriyaki. The taste was so good and delicious yummy! The fried rice and the vegetables are so delicious. And it's cheaper it costs only P140 pesos. We dined at Trinoma. You will surely be delighted too and like this food!

Our go-to japanese restaurant! We always have our "usuals" such as:

Tempura
- We love the tempura here. It's not very greasy and is crunchy on the outside. The size is also good and the tempura sauce is 128077

Beef teppanyaki
- These cubes of beef are nice and tender (but sometimes it's not that tender). It has enough saltyness in it. The beansprouts are also good (it comes on the side)

Gyudon
- My brother and I's favorite! The serving is also huge so we usually split it between the both of us

Chicken teriyaki
- Nothing beats the chicken teriyaki at teriyaki boy! It has enough sweetness and saltyness in it. It's always cooked to perfection!

Tofu steak
- I wouldn't imagine liking this but surprisingly the bland taste of normal tofu does not even exist in this dish! It's healthy and delicious at the same time!

Teriyaki Boy changed it's logo and platings recently and I think it's better. The presentation is more classy.

If I'm undecided where to eat. Last option would be Teriyaki boy. Thanks to their Philly cheese steak roll. Without this. I wouldn"t go back. 128523

I never saw this branch crowded so thats another reason why its okay to dine here. If you are looking for jap foods. Compared to tokyo2x which was always crowded. Service is consistent. Fast and staffs are attentive.

128073Agedashi tofu 101php was quite a disappoinment. Although its my fault. Hahaha I'm really looking for Tofu steak. The one that I ate at oki oki. So I assumed its the same. Because of the description in their menu. Its good that its too soft that it will melts on your mouth. But I dont like how it taste.

128077Chicken bento 325php was good for two although we find the serving small. So we ordered extra rice. I love the sauce. I love the veggies. And surprisingly the green jelly thing on the side. I swear i don't know it. But i love it.

128077and of course the Philly cheese 191php. I know it might taste ordinary to others. But being a cheese lover. For me its superb nice. The beef and the cheese was a good combination. 128523128523128523 *writing this made me hungry.128514

You can add 25php for bottomless soda.128077

Not a fan if Jap restos except for SumoSam. Ate here because we're so hungry and since it's the highly commercialized valentine's day, most are packed except for this place and the Vegetarian joint which name escapes me. Food are oily. Liked their chocolate mochi though. Their watermelon milkshake tasted like someone dropped a cough syrup in the mix. Yelp!

Teriyaki Boy had an unfinished business with my friend and I. So when an opportunity presented itself, we rushed towards the resto and were welcomed with a maasim smell. Oh wonderful. 128529 Fine, let it go. Our noses will get used to the smell anyway.

We ordered 3 items:
Tanmem (Seafood) Ramen
> i somehow liked the noodles, it's a little firm and not instant noodles type. My friend said the fish was notorious though. Malansa talaga, and we didn't bother eating the shrimp - it looked like it was caught from the darkest side of Manila Bay, it was far from being fresh and didn't seem to be cooked well.

Tofu Steak
> dang this oily beast! They also separated the meat and even went back to us if we wanted the other garnishes separated as well. Not bad, they double checked with the customer and didn't just assume.

Yakimeshi (Fried Rice)
> they were able to hold the meat. Yay!!! First time I didn't have to pick out meat one by one just to eat fried rice. Haha.

One thing to note - all of the dishes were oily! I think our heads spun around 3/4 into our meal. They don't have service charge, btw. So don't forget to tip!

128079: Flexible for special food requests (making them vegetarian-friendly); good service
128561: Oily food; weird smell

I've been a Katip girl literally my entire life, and I've also been a fan of Teriyaki Boy for the longest time. However, since their branch here in Katipunan is currently under renovation, my mom and I had merienda at the Trinoma branch while running some errands.

We ordered Tofu Steak, Tuna Tartare and Salmon Sashimi and I was SOSOSOSO disappointed with their serving portions.. 128531 Our bill was almost 1k and the serving sizes were so tiny! Is there a tuna/salmon shortage happening at the moment or do they just really serve that little in the Trinoma branch? I guess I'll just have to wait until the Katip branch opens again! 128557

We also ordered froyo which was priced at Php 160 and the serving was less than the smallest size of Red Mango which (if I'm not mistaken) is priced at Php 100 (without toppings!) huhu oh well. The froyo was yummy anyway. Although, I didn't really expect to get legit full with this meal since it was just for merienda, I hope Teriyaki Boy will improve on their serving sizes since I really do believe that you should get your money's worth. But the quality of the food was pretty good, still. 128522

We ate faster than their service. 128528 I even thought they forgot my order because medyo naka-10years na bago dumating (weh). 128530

Anyway, since ako yung nag-aya dito dahil i want to eat their Suki Beef Tepanyaki Don, which i still liked, dedma nalang sa slow service. Beef was tasty, not so tender and a bit chewy pero ok lang. I noticed that's the kind of meat they use talaga for this beef bowl unlike in Yoshinoya's na bacon-like and thinner. The taste becomes better if you mix the raw egg with the beef and rice. 128077

California maki roll wasn't as tasty compared before maybe because the mangoes used were sour. It helps when the magoes are ripe and sweet. Neil ordered their small Gyuniku Ramen, in fairness its not as authentic but it was good.

Place is turning old, i think they need to upgrade. Medyo mainit rin plus un nga ang bagal lang ng dating ng orders.

Overall, ok lang. But i can give 4-stars for my food alone. 128522

It was my first time to eat here and I ordered their Tamdem Ramen, a seafood ramen. The only ingredient i love is the fish inside. It wasnt that special. It was a so-so for me but their teriyaki was really good, i had a bite of my boyfriend's order. I recommend not to try their noodles. Lol

Before heading to the cinema house, I ordered a philly cheesesteak roll. I really love this food. 128523

I kinda expected that it would take around 15 minutes for them to prepare my food but I think they had it done in 10 minutes or so. 128077

-111088 because it kinda smelled like someone just mopped the area. I also notice that Japanese restaurants have this distinct smell which I cannot explain. Haha 128518

I liked their service, very friendly and accommodating. I don't care for the lack of vegetarian dishes though. There are also few dishes that can be veganized.

Buffalo Tori Karaage is my absolute favorite! We also ordered Crazy California roll, which is good but I still prefer the classic California Maki over it. We went go share with the Karaage, and their servings are filling for both of us, although medyo nabitin kami sa dipping sauce . Their steamed rice is good too, although expensive probably because they use Japanese short-grained rice.

Teriyaki Chicken nila is still among the best! Order the rice topping version or the ala carte then order fried rice! I ask for the red chili powder to enhance the experience. Yummmmm.

Ambiance is decent. Last time I went though they were short handed so it was tough to get a waiter's attention. -1 Looloo star for that.

My Wife likes their Wafu steak (parang beef teppan version nila), which is on the high side P400 range but quite good.

Ask for tea (hot, or I think you can make it with ice), which is complimentary. Once in a whole I order the spicy tuna sashimi with tempura bits. Yummy din.
