New favorite hole in the wall in the Morato area! Everything I've tried so far from Terrace has been excellent (save for the slow-cooked beef, which is laden with WAY too much fat for a normal human being. I mean I love meat fat & appreciated the generous serving, but you honestly may not). The grilled pork with dirty rice is tender & heavenly (be sure to ask for their gravy to go with this dish), their pumpkin soup is thick & creamy, the poutine is /deadly/ (and inventive, with chicharon bits sprinkled atop), the bacon-wrapped wings are absolutely sublime (my favorite wings to date), and their fish & chips are of perfect taste & consistency. Their choice of wine is nice (they carry Penguin), but they mark its price up quite a but.

A note however is that they under-season their food, which isn't exactly a problem, and is done in many restaurants in the US. This allows each individual to season their orders to their taste, guaranteeing customer satisfaction. Just ask the server for salt, pepper & aioli (goes with everything). 128522

➡️Pumpkin soup 127775127775127775 too creamy
➡️Buffalo bacon wings 127775127775127775127775127775 simply love its sweet, spicy and tangy taste
➡️Slow-cooked beef 127775127775127775127775 a bit salty. Hoping that they would separate the dish from the rice coz i found it too saucy to be put in together with the rice..
➡️Salmon belly skewers 127775127775127775127775127775 the best so far.. The terryaki sauce is a perfect match for the salmon belly. You'll feel the crunchiness of the skin and the tender meat of the salmon.

This place is very homey and if you're looking for comfort foods, maybe you can try this out.

“We’re home!” The feeling upon entering the clean and modern vicinity of Terrace 45. Its food resembles its homey ambiance – comforting and familiar.

Must-Try
Chicken Pitacos - This has to be my favorite, ChickenPitacos. An excellent mix of Greek-style chicken on homemade pita bread with tomato, lettuce and onion. Guilt-free with a taste that refreshes and not overpowering with each other’s flavors.

Grilled Porkchop - Giant slab of Grilled Pork Chop marks itself as the best-seller. In a place where people seeks for comfort, they found it in this Grilled Pork Chop served with dirty rice and grilled vegetables. Easily appreciated for its flavorful marinade, this solves your problem when you can’t decide what to eat for the night.

Another late post. 9996🏼️

This is another one of those homes that have been made into restaurants, so it's not along the busy Tomas Morato stretch.

🔹Pork Rind Poutine. Fries with chicharon, gravy, fried garlic, aioli. I loved this.

🔹Pumpkin Soup. This was good too.

🔹Grilled Porkchop. It wasn't too tender and not too flavorful. Their dishes are actually a little bland, for some reason. They probably just don't want to serve salty food.

🔹Prawns Thermidor Pasta. Good but serving size could be improved.

Service was great. 128522

I've been interested in trying Terrace 45 out after seeing their Instagram account. As mentioned in my previous review, we had our last Thursday after work dinner and I was tasked to search for the resto. Such pressure, but I chose Terrace 45.

Located at the corner of Scout Santiago and Scout Dr Lazcano Streets, it's some 20 minutes walk from our clinic near Kamuning. Yeahh we like to walk as long as the weather is good. 97299729

Booked a reservation two days before just to be sure we have a sure spot. Our table was ready when we arrived 128077🏻 The place was simple yet had that modern and sophisticated feel. Good place for private functions or family celebrations or occasions. Music inside was good also. They have an al fresco area, as well as, inside the air-conditioned area where maybe 20-30 people can fit. 3-4 friendly servers were very accommodating.

In summary, all the food we ordered were good! We liked all of them only that servings were good for 1-2 people only. We ordered two each and shared with everyone. We had 2 appetizers, 1 pasta, and 3 or 4 main dishes. Pretty full after and our tummies satisfied. 128077🏻128077🏻

For starters, we had Pork Rind Poutine and Buffalo Bacon Wings. Hand cut fries plus gravy plus chicharon, fried garlic and their aioli sauce. This one's good. It was crunchy and had that potato chips taste. The bacon wings was also good but found it quite a small serving 128517spicy and made me sweat a bit. 128514

Prawn Thermidor Pasta was gooood! Two huge prawn pieces on top of a cream-based al dente linguine with mushrooms, bell peppers, and melted cheddar. 128077🏻128077🏻

Grilled Pork Chop was also done right. Juicy and tasty big slices of pork chop right there. I liked that the barbecue sauce was not too overpowering and had that good blend with sweetness 128523 came with dirty rice which was also good and some veggies on the side. Good for 1-2 persons.

Slow-cooked Beef was one of the stars of the night. Cooking the beef longer made it really really tender and tasted really really good. Marinade obviously got absorbed by the meat. Ahhh i can remember how yummy the garlic gravy was 128523

Last, we also got the Lengua and Chips and it was also good. Only problem I observed was the lengua slice I got was too thick and it had that "langsa" taste. Friends did not notice that though since they got thinner slices. 128514 overall it was really good. 128079🏻

All in all, it was a great visit and I will come back to try more of their offerings! 128516

Got really curious when I saw the flood of posts of their food in Instagram. Maybe I should not be too enticed if the posts are actually sponsored. 128514 Don't get me wrong, I do go to sponsored events, but I do not post dishes that didn't really satisfy me.

The only dish I liked was their Prawn Thermidor Pasta, and their pumpkin soup.

We also got the bacon wings, corn fritters, ribs.. Can't even remember everything and I couldn't find the photos in my albums anymore. 128514 Yes, I do delete photos when I did not enjoy the food. 128517

The owner was there but didn't approach the tables to ask for feedback. I think that is mandatory specially if your restaurant is quite new.

We also asked for an extra order of their potato chips that came with the lengua (which was salty, btw) and the server told us it's not allowed. We asked another server to ask the owner, and they obliged. Maybe they should train their servers to ask the manager/owner first before saying no. 128529

Sorry but their food was just okay. Nothing memorable. Nice place though.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary at Terrace 45. The place was really cozy and quiet. Feels like having dinner at home because it was not crowded and noisy. For appetizer, we ordered buffalo wings with bacon - i loved it! Its crispy and tangy and loved the bacon twist. Chicken lollipop is wrapped in bacon before the breading. Must try. For main- Grilled pork chop over dirty rice: Pork chop was really nice, the dirty rice was quite dry for me. The rice would be better with a grilled squid or prawn. Slow cooked beef: beef was really tender but nothing really special. Dessert: Rainbow Jelly- I really like it it brings the kid in me. Butterscotch Pudding- my daughter loved it, it was not too sweet.

Nice place to bring your family or date. The flat bread, buffalo wings and the slow cooked bead was delicious. Waitress was polite and fast.

I've been avoiding going out ever since I got back from the US to let my funds recuperate, but I just had to visit Terrace 45 as soon as I could!

They're still on soft opening, but so far I am loving what they have so far. A favorite of mine is the cheese croquetas with garlic aioli, but I think because it's potatoes with cheese, two things I love hahahaha. They tend to crumble easily when you try to stab them with your fork, though! Doesn't make them any less delicious, though. Mmm.

The bacon-wrapped buffalo wings are too spicy for my taste, but I do appreciate that the staff warns you about it upon ordering, haha.

My main order tonight, though, was the fish & chips. The batter was perfect, not too heavy, but has a nice crunch to it. The fries were okay, but I'm more a fan of shoestring fries.

The main thing with Terrace 45 is that they get me to try things I wouldn't normally consume! I'm no fan of garlic aioli or tartar sauce or pumpkin soup, but somehow, Terrace gets me to try it anyway. Maybe this is the place that will finally get me to eat my vegetables...?

I absolutely love the interiors! The light in here is gorgeous in the mornings, and the seats are comfortable. The music isn't obnoxiously loud, and the temperature is just right.

I rated them 4 stars because I feel some of their dishes could still improve. (Croquetas, wings, fries, etc.) But since they're still on soft opening, hey, things can change!

I can't wait to try their other dishes! Looloo eat-up, gaaame?
