Chilling after work with some coldcuts, salad and a bottle of red wine. I loved the Morcilla! 128151

I really love dining out with the family every Saturday. It gives me the power to choose (90% of the time) where to eat and order anything we want from the menu without shelling out a single centavo.128521

For starters, we got their Pumpkin Saffron Soup (P230) because we were really hungry due to the heavy traffic. It was okay, but not one that I would order again. My brother ordered their Three Cheese Bechamel Croquettes (P320) which came in 6 pieces if I remember it right. I love how thin the batter is! You can really taste the cheeses inside. We also got their Galician Pulpo Specialty, which sadly, disappointed me. It was too salty and oily.

We also got their Homemade Gnocchi in Gorgonzola Sauce (P395) which was enriched with the earthy flavors of wild mushroom, and saltiness from the prosciutto crisps. My brother also ordered Angel’s Nest (P555). It’s pasta with shrimps, scallops, and squid in a Gruyere-Emmental Newburg sauce. This one is forgettable, sadly.

JP G is all praises about their Signature Seafood Paella (P980), so I made sure we got an order of their signature dish, well 2 orders. Hahaha! It lives up to the hype! We all loved it! We did not get to finish our order so took it home. My brother got mad at me for eating the leftover of his kuya. Hahaha!

Another stellar dish is their Black Angus Salpicao. The salpicao may be a bit pricey at P995 per order, but it’s really worth it! My mom is not a fan of beef but she really liked it, so that says a lot. Hahaha!

My dad got their Caesar Salad, and my other brother also ordered their Perfect Salmon. I did not get to taste both though.

My brothers and I were really satisfied with the food, and I think my parents were too. Except for the bill that came right after.128517

If I was to come back any time soon, I would definitely order the paella again!

Wine and cheese kind of night 127863

Paella was ok but I find the squid a bit difficult to swallow (was too hard to bite). salpicao was also good, the beef is so flavorful 128077🏼

I enjoyed their desserts too! The creme brûlée and the marquesa de chocolate was soooo good! I can finish ot by myself. Haha!

Oh, the photo here is the sausage :) looks interesting but the taste was just okay for me

This meal was a pretty weird experience. Went here for lunch simply because every other place was already full! The friends had the paella which is the specialty, as for me and my allergies - I had to get something else. Asked the waiter what's good between the gnocchi and the pork chop - and he told me that I might not like the gnocchi since it's based on bleu cheese cream with Parma ham and shiitake.

Everyone's orders came out already except mine, I was preparing to be astounded with what I was going to pay for. I was underwhelmed with the first bite. It tasted bland, didn't even taste the bleu cheese. The parma ham was toasted, I prefer it to be just cut and soft from the sausage roll / parma cut.

Being fair, I was perhaps being too judging since I was comparing it to Va Bene's gnocchi which is great every single time.

Next time, order something that's usually ordered or is a best seller! Just 3 stars for this visit.

Spur of the moment purchase of my dad, who went out for tapas at Terry's... He was happy about their wine selection and decided to bring home two bottles for us to try... I'm about to buy cheese to enjoy with the wine!127863

Saying no to rice is twice harder when it comes in this form. Good Lord, this Super Paella Parellada is so worth the calories. Every bite is flavorful that I kept eating and eating even if I already had so many other things like Terry's pumpkin soup, chorizo, callos and manchego. Their chorizo was served on a flaming piggy back ceramic which made it all the more interesting. All items we got were yummy though the price may be a little heavy on the pocket. The Paella is good for 2 and it costs 700+ I think. Good thing it was libre! Hahaha thanks bosses! 128515

At first glance you would expect that the prices especially for the wines will be VERY expensive like Planet Grapes; but when we're about to order: "WOAH ANG MURA Ng wines for the beautiful interior design!!" We ordered 2 of their 2012 Acantus red wine. It's around 300php per bottle! 128561 For the taste, well it's kinda sour but has a sweet kick at the end.

With that kind of taste, we ordered their Churros for 250php. The bread itself is not the usual one we see in Dulcinea and S&R. ( see picture) big and thick yes but kinda hard! :( At least the chocolate compensates it as it is so yummy! One of my friends eat it like it's Champorado. ( YES that yummy!!)

My major complaint would be the resto's closing hours during Fridays. It's only up to 11pm!! They should at least extended it for an hour or 2 more! And because of that, the waiters are always telling us that we should leave already or else their resto will be charged with penalty. Other than that, I would like to come back here again and try their other value for money wines and main course :)

This is the beautiful Marquesa de Chocolate at Terry's. This is the stuff chocoholics' dreams are made of 128536

We loved everything at Terry's Selection! The food was great and the service was impeccable. 128077128077128077 The soup and salad we ordered were good but it was the Jabugueña Tortilla that really stood out. It was just so yummy! The potatoes were tender without being mushy and I think (maybe) they used cheese to make it creamy. It was so tasty! 128522128522128522

We loved it so much that we're having dinner here again tonight. Looking forward to trying their paella and chuleton. And of course, that absolutely decadent Marquesa 128536

It has been said over and over again but I will join that bandwagon now and agree that this is probably one of the best place to have the most authentic TRADITIONAL Spanish tapas.

There has been several tapas bars sprouting up around the metro lately. Most offer half a menu of traditional and another half of modern fusion tapas. For me, you have to learn to appreciate traditional tapas first and get familiar with it before you can appreciate whether the fusion versions are even good at all. I realize this now since I've been making the mistake of opting for the modern twists first over the old school myself. Enough preaching. Zipped. 128513

I'm so glad to have given Terry's a try. Made me appreciate the simplicity of traditional tapas though the flavor profiles is such a pleasure to the taste buds.

We deliberately went there as a group so we can try as many dishes as we can. These are the hits that we had ...

- White Asparagus : So simple but very tasty. This would be a perfect tapas to pair with white wine. You can also get some from their deli downstairs which comes in a jar. Just strain the liquid out of the jar and serve on a plate with a few drizzles of olive oil. No need to warm it up.

- Red Piquillo Pepper w/ Tuna 128031 : Sorry, forgot the Spanish name of the dish. The sweetness of the pepper balances out the savoriness of the tuna and the cream sauce.

- Shrimp Risotto 127844: By far my fave. Perfectly cooked. Creamy. And there's an umami flavor to it that I'm guessing is the white truffle oil they used. Crave worthy! Thinking about it now makes me drool. 128523

Ambiance of the place is that of a semi-modern wine bar with wines lining up the wine racks on the walls. Not as cluttery as that of an authentic tapas bar with too much bricks and too much heirloom knickknacks. Downstairs is a deli selling Spanish cuisine related ingredients which they have quite a variety of.

5-stars! The last of the 5 stars 127775 is just for the risotto itself. 128076 It's that good.

If you want to have a decent conversation with your friends, this is the place to be. No blaring music in the background, plus the ambience is nice, cozy & classy.

I love the place! There's a nice little deli on the ground floor for you to take home some wine & cheese goodies. On the 2nd floor is the resto.

I only got to eat the Oyster soup, which was really tasty with some nicely done, big artichokes. But my colleagues seem to like their food orders. I do wanna try the soft shelled crab entree.

Budget per person is 500 & up and the food is not good for sharing

They serve a 10 dollar bottle of rosé and for its price, I would gladly come back whenever I can. Tastiest and fattest shrimps in the gambas as well. It used to be quiet here but people are starting to discover this area si expect more patrons soon.

Overall, one of my new favorites in my neighborhood :)

Loved: The fact that they serve soft shell crab. Would have loved it even more if they had a soft shell crab sandwich (since that was what i was craving for during the time).

Their angel's nest pasta is amazing. It's basically a seafood pasta. Their Newburg sauce was light yet rich. It also had added character and uniqueness because of the Gruyere and Emmental cheese.

The combination of the Gruyere cheese which is known to be sweet & salty combined with the savory but not too sharp Emmental, complimented the Newburg sauce. Most importantly, the seafood was fresh and the pasta perfectly cooked!

In short, It was really good.

This place is Best for folks who like european / italian food and wine. Or people who just really like good food. :-)

Not so okay for: people on a budget since it's a little pricey for Php 500 and up.

My verdict: i'd eat here again. Possibly consider bringing my coolio grandpapa. My simple joy is finding restos that serve simple / back to basics food with good quality / fresh ingredients.

And as of now, terry's fits that category. :-)

n & i went to tuscany estate in mckinley hill & i was so happy to find terry's there. their place here is way smaller compared to what they have in podium but they still have good variety of wine & spanish products on sale. what really made me happy was their cheese & ham room as i was able to buy some manchego & jamon serrano to nibble on while we wait for lunch to be served. we ordered fabada & callos as both are favorites of mine. terry's cook them really well. the beans in the fabada were whole but soft & the blood sausages pork cubes & jamon serrano strips were plentiful. the callos was thick, hearty & all so lip-smacking good. plenty of softened tripes & chickpeas (garbanzos). we ate everything with some bread & paired it with a bottle of medium bidied tempranillo. perfection really. i would have given terry's tuscany my first-ever 5 but service leaves a lot to be desired. we will be back. 128156128156128156

Hot Capuccino, Seafood Dishes, and Peach & Chocolate Symphony. Hmmmm.. are they great combination on your dinner? haha! well, for me it is! 128571128571128571

It is Spanish Restaurant. My first impression on this, I thought this resto was selling only wines because when you are there you will see the bundles of wine in every sides of the resto. So, now, what comes first in your mind?

The menu contains different dishes of Spain with their description. That's why it's huge! :)
The dishes I posted was no too expensive we'll actually if you really love food you wouldn't mind the price.

You must definitely try and taste their Spanish cuisine! I want to taste all their dishes but off to my budget. Maybe I'll come back soon and taste the other dishes. 128099128099128099
