We're supposed to eat at Frankies but due to a blockbuster line my friend and I opt to try TexMex right beside Frankies. My friend ordered their Mex Pollo - 199 (set meal of grilled chicken, Mex Rice, salsa and corn cob). The rice was "medyo sunog" and the chicken was bland (nothing special). I ordered grilled chicken Burrito and its so sad. Its like what my friend ordered only wrap in tortilla. It's a flavorless orange rice with chicken strips. Really disappointing. I can't help but compare it to Silantro and Army Navy since almost same price lang. I wouldn't recommend this place. 128078128078128078128078128078

Their chicken quesadilla and chili bomb was good. Can be eaten as light lunch or as snacks.

The white sauce served with the qusadilla and chili bomb complements the taste and flavour of each dish.

The chili bomb was quite hot and spicy while the quesadilla's filling was generous.

Who wouldn't fall in love with SM Megamall's Mega Food Hall when it actually made the foodcourt experience even yummier and happier?

I can clearly remember my first visit at the Mega Food Hall and I was so glad that I got to discover it when it was still quite new. Yes, the food choices here will surely satisfy you.

From Filipino, Mexican, Japanese, American to Persian; may you be craving for Molo Soup, Nachos and Burritos, Yakitoris, Waffles and Wings to halal food, this place has it all for you!

Recently, I decided to have some snacks here after doing some errands and I decided to satisfy my Mexican cravings so I went for Tex-Mex.

I got the Grilled Chicken Burritos and the Chili Bomb and hey yes I got the perfect combination yes!

The Grilled Chicken Burritos were actually good for sharing. The wrap tasted fresh and new. I loved its softness and its nice smell. The fillings can be overwhelming when you're a bit full but every single thing tasted well, from the rice, beans, veggies to the chicken, put some hot sauce to make it taste even more exciting!

The Chili Bombs, the usual Dynamite as we know were really the bomb! The spicy level's a bit cray but that's good for me! I liked how its bread crumbs weren't that overwhelming and that it just gave the chili some kind of different taste.

Given its price, the items are well and generously served so I can say that its affordable and worth your money.

Aside from that, you'll surely enjoy the cool and casual feels at the food hall as you enjoy its simple yet creative look.

Tex-Mex is one of the good places to eat in SM Megamall Food Hall (or what my friends usually called as the Food court of the rich people. ahaha) Tex-mex is a term describing a fusion of American and Mexican cuisine.

Nachos MexGrande (P159) is my favorite finger food from this place. It was a multicolored nacho chips with plentiful amount of toppings. It has lots of cheese, beef, olives, beans and jalapeno. 128561128561 The presentation was like from an artist – a masterpiece! How does it taste? Well, every bite seems like an explosion of flavors! Appetizing and rich taste! My tummy is happy as well as my eyes, because of how colorful this food can be! Enticing!

They offer some other cool and delicious dishes such as chili bomb, tacos, chicken taco salad, chicken and beef quesadilla, fajitas and burritos.

I love American-Mexican foods, it lets me play with my food in a right way. Haha I love dipping, mixing and matching sauces. This is a good place to have a merienda with friends! So what are you waiting for? Haha Tara!128513

My companions ordered something to eat for merienda and ended up getting nachos.

I have to say that the plating was very colorful that I didn't want to touch it. It was that appealing, atleast to me. But of course you cant stop other people from digging in. 128517

It's a good snack food. You won't get that full but you enjoy munching it. I just wish there were more chips. Haha! 128516

Strolling around sm megamall we decided to have some snacks and try out some of the store at Mega Food Hall, coz we are a fan of quesadilla and we love trying out this in different resto we ordered oven baked beef quesadilla. The beef is flavorful and hindi sya tinipid, oozing with cheese and i love it, quite salty but its fine, and the pita bread is good also. Since its like a food court, once you order you'll wait 10-15 mins and be back for your order. food experience was good 128077

MEGAPPETITE!
The Mega Food Hall Special

*Disclaimer: The series of reviews will only discuss a certain menu ordered in certain restaurants during one of my visits in the Mega Food Hall along SM Megamall's Mega Fashion Hall on a typical lunch out with my family. Thus, the ratings will pertain to that certain order only. (Lol)

During one of our early Christmas shopping in Megamall, my family dined at the Mega Food Hall. I was surprised to see that they have a food court here that seemed like a very small version of SM Aura's food court that feature different cuisines. The queue at The Halal Guys was extremely long and we were so hungry so I instantly lined up at Frankie's while Mama ordered in the other stalls without any lines.

So one of their orders was in the Mexican stall Tex-Mex. Their Mexican BBQ Fries was garlicky added up with the garlic mayo dip. The fries were cooked well, not too burnt but crunchy on the outside. Reminds me of KFC fries. Big cut yet not too oily. Love 'em!

I love hanging out with people who love to eat. It means that they are game to pig out and try different restaurants. My college friends are just like that and when we met a few weeks back, we were able to visit three different establishments! (Well, four for K and I.)

After having lunch at Burgers & Brewskies and dessert at Larcy’s Cupcakery Café, we decided to go to Megamall to continue pestering each other (in the most loveable way possible). And since we like to chit chat while munching, we headed to Mega Food Hall for some snacks.

K and I went straight to Sweetea by Da.u.de and she got Starburst (PHP160 for medium | PHP170 for large) while I got Green Passion (PHP120 for medium | PHP130 for large). Since there’s a wait time of 6 to 8 minutes, we checked out Tex-Mex after seeing a couple enjoying a plate of nachos.

Since we were envious (of the food and not the lovey doveyness just so we’re clear), we ordered Nachos MexGrande (PHP159) and Grilled Chicken Quesadilla (PHP169). After paying, we were given this coaster looking number that vibrates when our orders are ready. I hope all food courts have this so that we could roam around while waiting for our orders.

After a short while, we got all of our orders and started to dig in.

My Green Passion had a slight fruity taste from the passion fruit. It was a bit on the bland side but I like it that way. K liked it too, and even more than her Starburst which she felt would take a bit of time to be likable.

The nachos were delightful! There was a generous serving of toppings. Cheese, beef, olives, beans, multicolored nachos, all offering different textures all in one mouthful! It was lovely. It had a rich taste and great for sharing.

Sadly, compared to the nachos, the quesadilla became less impressive given that it had less texture and flavor. It was cheesy though and each bite had grilled chicken. (I’m still siding with the nachos though.)

I heard that the burritos of Tex-Mex are good too. I’ll try it next time.

I'm not really a type of person who like burgers but this is really good. Usually, after one bite from a burger I give it to my dad but this is one of those type of burgers that really tickle my taste buds!

Took the opportunity to eat somewhere that only Megamall has since we were already there. We really struggled looking for an okay place. I was really eyeing to try The Halal Guys but I already knew we would be in for a long long queue so we chose to pass for now.

We still ended up at The Mega Food Hall though. I had Tex-Mex while she had Frankie's.

I ordered Oven Baked Beef Quesadilla P170 and Grande Burger P199.

The quesadillas were pretty tiny for P170, although I liked it because it had a lot of cheese. Naumay nga lang ako.

The Grande Burger was so-so. Nothing special. Yeah it was big. Probably a 1/3lb patty with lettuce, cheese, tomato, pickles, and bacon. Pretty simple stuff. Didn't stand out. Except for the fries it came with! It was seasoned in something a bit spicy yet tasty. Although it was a little too spicy, I still couldn't have enough. 128077

Currently craving for this burrito! 128561 The staff took a little while to make it though.

I should've asked for a fork & knife 'cause it can get really messy to eat it with your hands.

I did liked it, but I think I'd still go for Army Navy's version. 128522

Anyway, I'd like to try their other dishes, too. 128077

Burrito - orange flavorless rice with a few strips of beef and lettuce 128078🏼 as what you can see on the attached picture.
Salsa was good but garlic ranch is not. It is supposed to be tangy and garlicky but it's sweet as yogurt and thats it. I also tried their Pollo Chicken which is for 199 -- roasted chicken, big serving of rice, chimichuri sauce and buttered corn - the flavor is there but its bland, huge serving though for those with big appetite.

The beef burrito's really good especially with that white sauce poured over it. If it wasn't for it, i would've rated it two stars for the overall experience. There's a line parallel to the display and the cashier and a couple of guys lined up perpendicular to the cashier. I let the first one pass as he was in the line before he left for somewhere and me taking up his place. Apparently he went back to line up in the wrong one. So, when the cashier entertained the next guy after the one whom I let go, I just had to say something. Nothing provoking. Just a "is that where the line is?" She then smirked and told me "sige sir kayo na una." I would've left had she decided to accommodate that other guy. Too many people do not know how to observe rules and follow. Experienced this many times. Lemonade was good too

The burrito was just blah, not worth the money. I was expecting it to be delightful pa naman. No taste eh. The quesadilla tasted like it used a cheaper kind of cheese, but it was okay anyway.
