Food taste great. Their Chipotle salad worth trying. 3 meat platter is tender. Thanks to Ayla, Russel, Stella and the rest of the crew for making our stay so pleasant.

It has been almost two years in the making but finally—I’m getting married! Not. My friends and I have been planning to have an overnight get together for years now as the last time we did that was when we graduated a few years back. We decided to stay at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel but had no plans to dine there for dinner as we felt poor. *gloom*

It was almost 9 p.m. and most of us came from work or elsewhere without food in our tummies except for K. Just like a group of tweens, we waited for everyone before deciding where to have dinner.

After putting our bags inside our “unlocked” room (scary!), we decided to have dinner at T.G.I. Friday’s. The place was quite packed so the server who served us suggested that we go al fresco dining but we hesitated as 1) none of my friends smoke; 2) it was hot that day. We then requested for the corner table available at the second floor.

Starved, we quickly ordered something. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta (PHP415 regular; PHP625 for sharing) and Strawberry Lemonade Slush (PHP165). B ordered Chicken Club Sandwich (PHP395), while N settled for Jack Daniel’s Burger (PHP465). K, M, and L were still full so they just ordered Oreo Madness (PHP205 for one piece and PHP345 for two pieces). I still remember how hyper our server, Rentin, was. It was his second day if I remember it correctly and he even apologized about sweating too much as he was just eager to serve us. (Funny fellow.)

They quickly served my drink and it was delightful! Sweet yet still refreshing!

The serving of the Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta seemed to be small given the price. Taste-wise, it wasn’t very special too. True, I enjoyed the slightly spicy creamy Alfredo sauce and the bits of chicken and shrimp but it wasn’t enough to make me crave for more of it.

I actually enjoyed B’s sandwich more. It was pretty tasty and rather filling. I love how the different fillings—ham, chargrilled chicken, cheese, and bacon created different textures that went well with each other. One thing I didn’t like about it was that it was a bit messy to eat (since it was really thick!).

I wasn’t able to taste N’s burger but based on how fast he finished his meal, I bet that it was good. Burger, bacon, and cheese what could go wrong?

Now for the dessert I have been eying since it reached our table… OREO MADNESS. *droooool*

It was giant Oreo cookies with vanilla ice cream in between drizzled with chocolate and caramel syrup! Yum yum yum!!! I hesitated to eat one whole cookie as it was for sharing but I’d definitely order one order (of two pieces) just for me next time.

It was one fun (and a bit stressful) night. We had laughs and hyper Rentin was the highlight of the dinner. It took them quite a while though to bring out my free dessert (as it was my birth… month. But before you react, it was really just a week off so…). Oh, and their happy birthday song was different too. I don’t remember though what the song was. >.<

Thanks, friends for making this night a memorable one!

Craving for old fashioned american food this is the place. Big serving fatty food, different sauces and bunch of fried oily food. Sound very sinful but very good comfort food specially sea food plater. First time to try chicken fajitas its taste good love their soft breat you put on it, ordered also calypso calamari salad and fridays pork adobo which also taste good. Love this place specially the interior and friendly staff.

Sweetness Overload!! 128513

Because I'm still full but the team needs to have dinner already, I just had this "Brownie Obsession" (in the photo). For me, it tastes like heaven. HAHAHA! #OA 128514

Pardon me, it's heaven only because I love sweets. 128522 Though it's a bit pricey, justifies its size. I wasn't able to consumed it, as always.

I also had their Fridays Tostado Nachos but I more liked their other nachos, sorry I forgot the name, my colleague ordered it with a cheese dip that I also forgot. Haha! 9996

Anyway, I will come back here to try their main dishes and of course will do another review. Hope I will remember to get the name of the "other" nachos and the cheese dip. Hoho! 128513128514

I rarely pick desserts on a pricey restaurant like this, but when I do, it's Oreo Madness. 128525

Creamy Vanilla ice cream sandwiched by crushed oreos! Just the way you want it. 128077 Good for sharing but please, limit it up to two persons only. 128521

I've always regarded TGI Friday's as one of my usual choices for comfort food. In my almost frequent trips spanning a number of years, I have never had a bad experience. I guess it's true when they say there a first time for everything.

The first thing I noticed about Friday's is their new and improved menu. Ramon L and I decided to veer away from our favorite Chicken Fingers (which now costs Php 345 by the way), and order the Fried Calamari (Php 375) and the Chicken Finger BLT (Php 375). Obviously, we couldn't give up Chicken Fingers like we said we would.

Anyway, the Fried Calamari was not as I expected. Usually, I imagine big squid rings, but tiny ones. No matter, it happens, but what I didn't like was that the taste was a bit off too, and I didn't like the marinara all that much either. Sigh.

The Chicken Finger BLT came later, but surprisingly the fries were already cold when it was served. I called the attention of the waiter and he attended to me with a smile. I had asked him to reheat it, but he took the extra effort to have a new batch made. The fries were piping hot -- just the way I like them! I hated the sandwich though. The chicken wasn't enough to cover the whole breading. In fact, if I transferred all the contents to one half of the bread, then I'd still have a complete half left over. Augh.

Also, I had asked the waiter who was cleaning our plates for the bill, but he passed it on to whom I presume was the manager (she was wearing a suit), but at the same time, she was busy talking to another waited. I had to call her attention again minutes later because I just wanted to go already and my bill was nowhere in sight. (I was right next to their terminal.) I am done.

I got the Jack Daniel's burger. It was good but expensive 128557 I had better burgers at a lower price 128513 thankfully i was treated by my colleague for lunch here. Otherwise, I wouldn't have eaten here because of their prices. 128514

The serving size is huge though. It's good for sharing 128077

Too expensive. Got the burger with Jack Daniel's sauce. Not a fan. But they have free-flowing Mojito's and other great appetizers so I won't complain as much.

Close to getting 2 stars though, I just rounded up.
