Food is quite far from being authentic, but the Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice are both good enough for a snack.

** Box Park is located at Tandang Sora Avenue in Quezon City. Inspired by the container parks abroad, Box Park Manila currently features 14 food brands that are unique from each other.

Pad thai (100pesos) was bland. It didn't taste like the usual pad thai from other Thai restaurants. It was overall underwhelming.

Thai food holds a special space in my stomach. I love that a full serving of Thai Fried Rice costs 99 pesos but you get the best out of it. Though is needed a little tiny bit more salt (atleast for me) we all enjoyed it. My friend literally ordered an order of this but still had one full separate meal. Haha! I wasnt expecting that it would come with shrimps since we all know how food stalls tend to raise the price a little higher when there's pieces of shrimp in the food. Hahaha!

I'll let you take a wild guess about what they sell here?!128514

This is the stall by the entrance, which stands out as it's the only one outside of a box... It is marked by a hawker bicycle cart instead... Seeing the simple purple signage made me laugh... They must have had a hard time thinking of a name!128517 so they opted for straightforward rather than creative...

They sell 3 dishes... I don't know if they will sell more dishes in the future, but their setup keeps them limited I would imagine... They offer noodle soup, thai fried rice and pad thai... Oh and thai iced coffee... When asked what their bestseller is, they immediately direct you to the fried rice and the pad thai... So my friend and I decided to order one of each and just sharing each dish... We also wanted to try their iced coffee, so we got one each...

We munched on fries while waiting for our orders. Their space is pretty cramped for their 3-man operation... It took a pretty long time before our orders came, but we were chill due to the fries and friendly banter...

Our coffees came first and oh my goodness it is soooo strong... Hello palpitations!128147128147128147 it was okay, but I thought it needed more condensed milk to counteract the strength of the brew... Wait for the ice cubes to melt guys!128517 not for the faint of stomach!128513

The Thai fried rice was also okay, a bit on the bland side despite me pouring the fish sauce and putting loads of chili flakes... It was relatively filling and not too bad for P99...

But I would recommend the Pad thai at this joint... For P99, you get a fair amount of yummy flavorful vermicelli noodles, with balanced sweetness and acidity... This is the dish my friend and I really liked...

The people all around Box Park are pretty nice and friendly, with a great overall neighborly vibe... People are pretty mellow, no one was too noisy or too rowdy... Though there were both students and oldies milling about, prices are budget-friendly... It's a great place to visit after dark... I suggest that you walk to Chimes after your meal to get a massage!128515
