The java rice wasnt as tasty as it was before. The chicken barbecue was still good and tasty like i remember with the sauce too. The dinuguan was just average for me nothing special about it.

Now I'm thinking this might be a different branch... We went to the newly opened Aristocrat in the new building near the end of Banawe... Same building as Parvati and Tokyo Bubble Tea... Lots of people even on a weeknight...

Bf and I ordered soups to start us off with and and order of their chicken barbecue each... Served with Java rice and atsara... The soup tasted like the ones you buy in packets from the supermarket... The chicken tasted as good as always... What made this just an okay visit is due to the very slow service... The food took so long to be served... Even waiting for the bill took a long time... I hope they improve this because there were a lot of waiters on the floors, making it more frustrating...

But since it's a newly opened branch, the place was clean and looked pleasing...

Absolutely one of the worse customer service experiences I've experienced in a while! I had a very unpleasant experience here, and I won't be going back. Like many people here I made a huge mistake by not checking |ooloo reviews before going here.

We just ordered two items in their menu but it took them one hour to serve our food so we ask for a follow-up. I give the servers a very good smile every time I order because I know how stressful it can be if you're in the service industry, but it's not an excuse to be somewhat rude to your customers

I hope the management can do something about this, I really like the food at Aristocrat, but it's not always about the food why customers go to your establishment.

Just had lunch here and ordered one of my favorites, pork spareribs barbeque.
Meat was kinda tough but there's something magical about their java sauce and java rice that made it still a good experience!
Kabigting's place was a lot colder though.

What happened to the original aristocrat? Food quantity was really small. Usually one order of their original chicken could share two people but now it's bot even enough for one. The chicken parts were small at the same time P210 per order is not cheap,in the photo I posted is the P200+ calamares it was really small good thing we ordered sisig and other dishes alongside. Also the food service was really slow we were informed that it would take 15-20mins but it kinda tool them a little more than that to serve our orders. Good thing our waiter richard was doing his job well and was accommodating. I would go back for their bbq chicken but will reconsider because of their slow service.

they say first impression lasts... on a black saturday... first time to eat here... the waiter (forgot to get his name) took our orders and i made him repeat everything and it was ok... the kare2, sizzling squid and sweet & sour lapu was served except for the whole pork spareribs which my sister ordered... the orders were served on the tables to our left, in front and at our back and still the pork spareribs was nowhere to be found... and all four of us including my senior citizen father finished eating, i guess anyone at my shoes would now be impatient so i called the manager only to be told that the waiter made a mistake in punching our order on their computer and she apologized and left... when the spareribs arrived my dad wanted to go home so we decided to take the spareribs home so that my sister could eat it at home... so i askd the waiter to pack the leftover kare2 and handed the senior citizen id and ask for the bill... when we finally settled the bill and askd for the 3pcs chicken which i ordered for take out... lo and behold its not even cooked yet!!!! holy ..... you wouldnt blame me if let out a banter to the waiters at this holy day!!! gosh! worst service for a first time customer!!! i love aristocrat but i will never eat at their banawe branch ever!!!

My favorite Filipino comfort food. Boneless Chicken BBQ with Java Rice and their special sauce... I've been eating this since I was a wee little lad... :) It's nice to know that some things never change.

the second time I dined in at an aristocrat and it made me give it 5 stars.

my first wasn't that interesting cause I only had their 3pc chicken bbq but that night we dined changed my view for aristocrat a lot. this is one of the best place where you could get a good filipino - chinese food.

went there after our subic trip, the heavy traffic in nlex south bound forced us to skip the stop overs on the expressway to scratch out the heavy traffic ahead and so we could get home and arrive in time for my family to pack their things for their flight going home to cebu. arrived 9:30 in manila so I was thinking we still have time for mr aristocrat here.

we had their group meals cause we were in a hurry to place our order so we could get this done. the meal consisted of:

127858 hototay, a very light, flavorful and refreshing soup that consists mainly of vegetables.

127834 yangchow rice, I felt like the rice was more of a filipino version than of chinese because it was cooked with less sodium, what they have in the rice was all goodness. feel ko pwde mo pang gawing ulam yung yang chow nila.

128031 sweet and sour fish, thought that the dish was just ok. the pineapples made a good twist with mostly carrying the sweet and sour taste that the dish was trying to give.

128020 and lastly, the fried chicken. The meat was still moist with a good flavor even without a dipping sauce.

This is one of the most expensive lumpiang shanghai I've had! If my memory serves me right, this is around Php260. 128561

I was thinking, what's so special with this lumpia? Lumpia ingredients aren't that expensive and most restaurants offer this simple dish at a fraction of the price.

All it took was a bite from these rolls to find out why it commands such a steep price. Meat quality is excellent. According to Paolo S, it's more like siomai meat. They won't offer you minced meat with a lot of extenders and fillers. They prepared whole lean meat cut into smaller pieces to fill the roll. It was that so good!

Aristocrat has been my family's favorite resto ever since. So, we headed to their branch near our place. (Check out Banawe, QC if you want to have some foodtripping!) The place is quite small. The ventilation is not that good. But their food, omg to die for! We all know that their bestseller, Chicken BBQ will never go out of the list and they are proving it to us everytime! We had Chicken BBQ, Lumpiang Shanghai, Pancit Bihon and Sinigang na Bangus. Overall, their meals will keep you coming back for more. 128077

During childhood, we would always think of Aristocrat when discussing chicken barbecue. Of course, let us not leave out the yellow colored Java rice. Yum yum!
Now there is the ever present Mang Inasal with the equally famous Uli-Rice. So where to when Chicken Barbecue is your thing?
If you want a full service restaurant, then the Aristocrat should be the no brainer answer. Should have been... I missed the Aristocrat of old when catsup and their secret Java sauce were served in containers. Now, they are served in sachets, ala fastfood. Try asking for extras and they will give you ONE sachet at a time, until you just give up the bother of wanting to ask for more.
At least in Mang Inasal you are in an ACTUAL fastfood, but with a service above that of one. Which would be better than being in a full service restaurant being served like in a fastfood store.
