When you food trip and one stop makes you feel less guilty because of the fruit component. Am not really a fan of apple but they made it good.
The bad part made it interesting. Among the 5 kinds they had, we picked the Apple Pie variety. It had brown sugar caramel coated in cinnamon and graham crackers. It wasn’t overly sweet, just right. At Php 150 it was a good deal.

The Bad Apple is one of the stalls at Pioneer Street Market. They sell candy apples of different variants.
A lil history lesson for my fellow foodies:
Candy apples, also known as toffee apples are whole apples covered in a hard toffee or sugar candy coating, with a stick inserted as a handle.
According to one source, American William W. Kolb invented the red candy apple. He produced the first batch by experimenting with red cinnamon candy he dipprd some apples and put em on display. And the rest is history.
I've been to Rocky Mountain but i didn't try their candy apples. Why? I already paid php 1150 for chocolate alone and i have no plans of hiking up my bill for more glucose.
The Bad Apple is affordable. Let's get that out of the way. The priciest item on their menu is php 160. I tried one of their bestsellers - Apple Pie. Candy Apple with Apple Pie Flavour, a lil redundant, i know. Tautology of sorts.
Caramel coated, crispy green apple, apple pie flavor. The slight tang from the apples tones down the sweetness of the caramel. Each bite gives you a subtle caramel induced crunch - me likey.
You bad apple, you!
