Every now and then I chance upon a restaurant which exceeds my expectations because I had low expectations to begin with. My low expectations were stemmed on a few things. First of all, the location of this particular restaurant makes it seem more expensive than it is. Secondly, I found the name of the place quite odd. The boiling seafood. Finally, I’ve never heard of it and nobody has mentioned this place to me before. Fortunately, my visit to this restaurant was satisfactory.

I first noticed the wharf type façade of their kitchen front. It was aligned to the theme of the place but the walls seemed confused. They looked like they were trying hard to fit in a modern art museum. They had high ceilings which I often attribute to wasted space but I didn’t know what else they could do with the space.

On to the food! We were handed two pieces of menu: one with set meals and another wherein you can choose your set. We completely ignored the set meals. The “choose your own” menu has 3 steps. Step 1: Pick your seafood. We chose to get the shrimps (595 Php for 350 grams). A close second choice would have been crab but we were quite full during our visit. Step 2: Pick the Sauce. We chose the Cajun for a bit of spice. I really wanted the crab fat option but I knew it was going to be too deadly. Step 3: How “Hot: do you want it. Options were tame, mild, and wild. We went with mild!

Shrimp was well cooked and hot when it arrived. The set had two pieces of corn as well. At first my girlfriend was making use of her utensils but decided that using our own hands was the best way to eat this. Each customer is provided an apron so that minimizes the possibility of stains getting on your clothes.

The place also played Westlife songs when we were there. Any place which plays Westlife songs is a check in my list.

That’s it for now. Take care everyone.

Oh i love this place!

First of all, i love their red ice tea! Its a must order when you dine in here!

Second, their pasta is so impressive!!! I believe we ordered the seafoods marinara (this is a super late post so i have to recall). We only ordered one and we (6) just had a bit for the sake of tasting it. We were all surprised! It made an impact on all of us!

Third, i dont remember the soup, but i dont remember anything bad about it either. So i guess it was good enough.

On our first time here, we ate butter and garlic for both shrimp and crab. It was fine. Delicious. But on our second visit, we ordered the spicy aligue sauce for the crab and buttered garlic for the shrimp and IT WAS UHM-MAY-ZING!!!! I want to go back here! But i live in Manila :(( too far

Lastly, we ordered the butterflied shrimp. Its the breaded shrimp with butterfly cut. It looked so nice in the picture. It was very DISAPPOINTING! :(( i really regretted ordering it!

All in all, i believe most of their food are amazing! Ü

Among all the dishes we had for that day, this was my fave: Shrimp in Crab Fat (Aligue) Sauce. It was very flavorful. The slight sweetness of the sauce paired well with the natural sweetness of the seafood. A lil pricey but food here is ensured to be fresh and of top notch quality. Really worth your money's worth! 128523

These guys rock. Value for money, consistency even with eyes closed and one arm tied. Buffalo Wings is a no-no. Stick to Shrimps, lovely!

What we ordered:

127860 Shrimps sweet chili garlic
127860 Clams butter garlic
127860 Hickory baby back ribs
127860 Calamari

I pretty much enjoyed everything except the Hickory baby back ribs. It was not that tender and flavorful.

Will I come back? Maybe not, I still love and enjoy eating at Dampa. 1285569996

Ate here with the wifey for Sunday night dinner. Place was full! Had to wait but luckily not to long!
Ordered mussels in curry sauce, shrimps in garlic butter and their buffalo wings. The wife kept saying omg, ong, omg! I knew she was enjoying especially with the shrimps. Mussels were nice and fresh. Chicken was good but it wasn't spicy. In fact we asked for spicy and none of the dishes were. I guess me and the wife have high tolerance!
Price wise we spent around 1500 for dinner for 2. I thought it was price fair knowing the price of seafood at the markets I believe it's value for money.
Well Definetely be back!

I SUPER DUPER LOVE THIS PLACE! (Capslock para intense) haha! We visited this restaurant since it was featured on Kris TV. My mom and I are satisfied so we had to bring dad (since he has work that day we ate here) nung weekend. The prawns are fresh and cooked perfectly. It's soft and very flavorful. Their crabs are really yummy, too! The baby back ribs ahhhh super heaven! Clams...yummy! I couldn't say more hahaha I just love this place so much. Good food + good costumer service + not so pricey 1108811088110881108811088

Glorified dampa. You can choose the sauce of the crabs and shrimp but I felt like those were just an upgraded version of what you can get in dampa. It's also very expensive. Not worth it.

We had cajun shrimps & garlic butter mussels. The shrimps were quite small but are really fresh and juicy. I really love the cajun flavor, it is not that spicy, which is a good thing. The mussels is okay, not so much flavor going on from the butter and garlic. We really wanted the sweet chili, too bad it wasn't available. I would love to come back and try the crabs and maybe order the shrimps again 128523127844127844127844

The cajun sauce was good for the shrimps, but the shrimps are not that fresh and crunchy. Trooical salad was good. Calamari, check. I would like to drink the sangria, but it is only available by the pitcher, so skipped it.

Awesome lunch at the boiling seafood. Located at alabang town center on its newly renovated portion across corte de las palmas.

First, you need to choose what kind of seafood you want to have, then choose the sauce and lastly, the level of spice. We chose 2 kilos of shrimp, 1 kilo butter garlic-mild 1 kilo cqjun-mild and a kilo of crab sweet chili sauce-mild.
I loved everything. The butter garlic has tons of garlic, so for garlic lovers out there like me, you'll definitely love it. I also love the cajun sauce although it taste different compared to bubba gumps cajun shrimp which I'm in love with (Not even once, did I ate at bubba gump without ordering cajun shrimp). The crab in sweet chili sauce is reminiscent of Singapore's chili-crab which is a good thing.

Price wise its reasonable since seafood is known to be a little on the expensive side.

One of the best seafood restaurants.

Choices: 1108811088110881108811088
Relatively limited, but who cares its delicious.

Ambience: 11088110881108811088
Simple, clean, glass walls let natural light in.

Price: 1108811088110881108811088
Not that cheap, but its fresh seafood, so yeah.

Everything we ate was amazing, a little bit unhealthy with all the butter. (Who cares? Butter makes everything taste good).

5 stars easily! :) 1108811088110881108811088

We ordered prawns in garlic butter (not in photo), crabs in sweet chilli, buffalo wings and clams in curry sauce. Parang sosyal na dampa. You can choose from prawns, clams, crabs and lobster (seasonal) and then your choice of sauce (menu on the photo collage). If you don't like rice as your siding, they offer corn, baked potato, french fries or onion rings as alternative to rice.Try their clams in curry sauce...panalo. :)
