Took home a bottle of Craftpoint Brewing Co.'s Supremo Mango IPA that they recently launched this month at The Bottle Shop. It was delicious - the bitter taste you'd expect from beer with a subtle dried mango-ish finish. The mango taste gets more pronounced, the more you drink. And this was a good thing for me. Definitely something different and more natural(?) than the regular flavored beer you find elsewhere, which is just usual tap beer with syrup mixed into it.

I'd definitely go back here and also try their food. I like the ambience and the beer selection seems VERY extensive with something for everyone.

I've been enjoying craft beers lately so after graffiti hunt last week, our last stop was The Bottle Shop.

The Bottle Shop has a huge selection of beers on tap. You can really find what's good for you, I'm sure. They also have imported beers on the menu. They have beers from USA (Stone Brewing), UK, Belgium, Japan, AU, and of course, PH (The Cebruery). I wanted something strong that time so I ordered Duvel. It's a Belgian strong pale ale and has ABV of 8.5%. It's not too sweet, and has bitter aftertaste. I liked how cold it was when served and was transferred to a glass with DUVEL print on it. For pica-pica, I ordered Spam fries. It took more than 15min for this to be served, but it was okay. I really loved this. I also ordered their Cubano sandwich. 128541

I liked the ambiance here. The music was not too loud, so you can have good conversations with friends over a bottle of beer. The servers were really attentive. I think they close early at 1am but I heard you can actually buy their bottled craft beers (super cold at that) and continue drinking at home. 128541

P.S. They currently have 3 branches: Makati, BGC, and in Sta. Rosa Laguna.

A horde of Philippine brews here. Most from Cebu courtesy of the Cebruery.

I'm starting with The Fat Bottomed Girl. I wont stop here. Next? Maybe the Guru? Perhaps the Dugong Red?
