Tagaytay sweet escape with hubby last July 22-23.

Our hotel was near to malls and other establishments, restaurants etc. so I took this opportunity to finally visit Tsokolateria located inside The Boutique Bed and Breakfast.
This boutique hotel was very lovely and has a peaceful and relaxing ambience. Perfect for couples.

Tsokolateria is located at the lobby of this boutique hotel
where we had a chocolate food trip. Nice place , Good service . They have lovely lobby too128525

Love the novelty of breakfast in bed even if I'm alone in this comfy room. Staff are really friendly, accomodating and welcoming. I could just hear the vehicles passing by outside (because it's along the highway) but the cozy bed and fragrance and Tagaytay cool weather are awesome. Breakfast serving is big and yummy! Love freshly pressed juice. Had the Hawaiian Breakfast - vegetable pineapple omelette, burger steak, fresh papaya with yogurt, hot chocolate, assorted bread and pastries.

If you want a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life, Tagaytay is definitely one of the top choices. I only live 30-45 minutes away (without traffic128517) but there's just something about Tagaytay's scenery, weather and food that make you want to come back every single time.

For our short staycation, I had to research on which hotel would give me the ultimate pampering/relaxation I needed after a tiring week. And I swear, this place deserves more than 5 stars.. Not exaggerating here!128587🏻

The moment you step inside, the staff would warmly greet you and would walk you through a small room with room diffusers, soaps, lotions and other toiletries where you can actually choose your preferred scent. Once you've settled in, they would welcome you with hot native chocolate and warm peanut butter cookies. You think it ends there? Nope, they ask you for your preferred breakfast, the time you want it served and even informs you that you get free massages or facials the next day!

The best part, aside from the superb service and waking up to a scenic view is actually having breakfast in bed and the meal itself. You can either have a continental breakfast, pinoy breakfast or the one with the omelette. They'll serve it with fresh juice, coffee/hot chocolate, a basketful of bread and jams, fresh fruits and yogurt. You won't be able to finish everything but the selection was huge and really delicious too!128522

I also have to note that the place was squeaky clean from the lobby to the rooms; maybe not the best bathrooms as they don't have tubs but bearable for quick refreshing showers. Anyways, we left a little later than the supposed check-out time and the owner was kind enough to extend our stay for 2 hours more. Yay!

This place was a treat from start to finish and they definitely my stay memorable and worthwhile!

My husband and I stayed at the I Dare room. The middle room in the 2nd floor. The unobstructed view of Taal is beyond incredible.

I enjoyed everything, the bed, view, the welcome basket with toiletries in the scent of your choice and the food. The ground floor of The Boutique houses The Original Hawaiian Barbeque, which serves their very filling breakfast in bed.

But, the downside, people in their front desk is not too helpful, in fact, a bit of a snob.

As Billy Crystal in America's Sweethearts said: "No smile, no tip." :)

Sure enough, everything is geared towards reconnection.
The homemade bath goodies was a delight. The Boutique experience starts with a trip to the The Pamper Me room (this is where i get to pick our room & bathroom treats), We booked the I Lust room and we watched Breakfast at Tiffany's and Transformers. I loved the bed (truly, we have one custom made in our house, thats how much i loved it), the abundant number of pillows (i got the goose down, the aroma pillows were all out :( too bad). Their Hawaiian Bar-B-Cue restaurant served a delectable baby back ribs. We also had a very interesting treat espasol dipped in dark chocolate!
The breakfast-in-bed was truly memorable and Inspiring.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Truly a Bed and Breakfast experience.

The Boutique Bed and Breakfast is perfect for honeymooners. They live up to their name "boutique".

You get to choose from seven different rooms. We chose "i dare" room which is located at their second level with private verandah. Overlooking taal.128525

Before checking in, they will ask you to choose from different home made scents for your shampoo, soap and lotion. You can also choose what type of pillows you want for your room! Talk about personalizeyshun! Speaking of pillows, super daming unaaan! Check the photo.:) They also welcome you with their super refreshing house blended iced tea complemented with a sticky sweet candy.:)

They have free board games and dvds available at the reception.:) Couples also get to have free facial massage or stone massage for free!

At bedtime, they have complimentary hot chocolate to cap the night off.:)

And in the morning, they will serve you.... BREAKFAST IN BED!!!!!128525 You get to choose what type of bfast you want the night before. They have this checklist wherein you can personalize your own breakfast meal. After accomplishing the list, you just hang the paper outside your door.:)

Upon checking out, they give you discount card same like sticker cards of sb.hehe. They will give you pa a small box of chocolate wrapped in gold with ribbon.haha.

Only if I can post all the photos here!haha. We spent 7k for an overnight stay. You can check out their website for rates and their different packages. They have the romantic package na may rose petals effect pa!

For personalized, super alagang service, this hotel deserves 5 looloo stars.:)) The rate is high pero naman the service!128525 Will definitely go back here again and again!

I Lust. Nope that ain't my current mood meter but the name of the room we stayed in at The Boutique Hotel in Tagaytay. Suffice to say with the names of its rooms (I Lust, I Love, I Dream, etc) that this hotel is made for couples! And that, my bestie and I were not. So imagine the weirdness of it all throughout our stay there.

The bathroom is see through from the bedroom. (Whew thank God they provided a curtain you can hang in case that's too awkward). There's also a tub by the window overlooking the Taal lake. A romantic touch for couples. Pillows abound in their king size bed. Our thoughts ran wild though as we thought of couples (Kris A. & James Y. to name one) who've stayed there hehe...erase...erase... Rooms are equipped with an LCD TV & an iPod dock and you get to customize the scent of the room and your toiletries. They also have complimentary tea and cookies to cap your evening. Complimentary breakfast in bed. And complimentary facial that's so divine, I'd go back if only for that.

Only downside is the room is too cramped for all the features it offered.

A bit on the pricey side, but their rates do compensate for the value of the whole experience (although worth more in our case since we had a complimentary stay GC weeee!).

Worth a try if you wanna impress your woman.
