What a coincidence? They're in BGC too for Pokemon Go! I met my friend with his husband at The Bowery which is located at Forbeswoods Heights, Burgos Circle, Bonifacio Global City for lunch.

The Bowery serves NYC Comfort Food and operates in 24-hours daily.

This is our first time here and we find the place cool and a good vibe feels. They have nice interior which turns into a bar with DJs booth at night.

As we call the attentive server and we are ready to order, she recommends the Short Rib Grilled Cheese Sandwich, we got one order of what she recommends and add Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Waffles and Eggs Benedict.

The place is pricey but the servings are big that 2-3 persons can share in one plate.

Their Mac and cheese was pretty good! It looked small but it was very filling.

I also love their kamote fries and their cocktails. This place turns into a bar after dinner time.

Service was pretty good.

The bowery is open 24 hours and it's near our office, two of the reasons why I love this restaurant. Third, their SHORT RIB GRILLED CHEESE sandwich (420 pesos) is tdf it's even on my comfort food list. 128522

My friend dragged me to this place because she had a friend who knew the chef... Finally got to go to those interesting eating places along Rizal Drive in BGC...

Upon entering, the place gave off a good vibe... This looks like a place we would probably go back to as it is small enough not to get too noisy. Although, we'd find out how mistaken we were until later when all the rest of the tables in the ground floor were fully occupied by just one rowdy group!

The staff were competent, attentive and helpful. When asked for what they would recommend, the waitress tried hard to push the Lobster with truffle, cheesy macaroni which really sounded good until you saw the whopping price of 1,200! Next item, please...

We ordered the recommended Swedish Meatballs with apricot glaze -- yummy! Was sharing this with my friend while waiting for another friend to come and it was so good, we forgot to take pictures of it! Reminded me also of the Ikea meatballs... Which basically is a happy memory for me.

The next one I tasted was the recommended Spinach Corn Fritters which came with a tangy tomato dip and a sour cream dip. Loved the sour cream, didn't feel anything for the tangy dip. The corn fritters were a bit oily.

I also halved the recommended Spanglish BLT sandwich with my friend because I wasn't that hungry. The halved sandwich still looked big enough... Am not sure I felt anything for this sandwich... Let's just say... I really wanted to go home after and start making my own version of the classic BLT.

When we arrived, it was still happy hour and we could order any of the cocktail drinks for a buy-1-take-1 promo. We tried the watermelon cooler. I think this will be the reason for why I would come back here...

The meatballs and crusted oysters were superb! Pasta I didn't appreciate as much (but my friends liked them). Pork ribs were good though a bit too sweet for my taste. Chicken were nice and surprisingly tender. Salmon could have been cooked better.. Overall, really good food!

Grandma’s Pear Pie (Php650.00):
This pear pie is so comforting, it will remind you of home cooked goodness! The wonderful crisped-outer edges of this pie offers a beautiful crunch that complements the vanilla bean ice cream and hot Toddy caramel sauce that is poured on top. This specialty is served in a skillet to keep it warm and giving it that old school feel. 127824

Half baked cookie with vanilla ice cream? Sign me up puhlease!128582🏻

My first encounter was at Tus Claypots and Skillets. The experience was nothing but WOWZA!

So when I heard about a potential competitor, I didn't think twice and tried the place. Enter skillet chocolate chip cookie sundae of The Bowery. Baked cookie with their own vanilla ice cream, hot fudge sauce, whip cream and wet nuts.

It took me two spoons to find out I'm still team Tus. The Bowery's version is too sweet! The cloying effect took a toll right away. Also, the cookie is less firmer than the one from Tus.

So, Tus pa rin!128074

Food here is delicious. Not the ordinary type. Price is higher than average but can be shared by two. The staffs here are friendly. The interior design looks like you are in Europe. So comfy that will make you stay longer.

It was my first time to eat at The Bowery. Their place is really nice and comfy.

I tried their Pasta of the Day which is Sundried Tomato Pesto Baked Ziti. It looks nice but it tasted just okay. Nothing special I think. It was also kinda expensive.

On my next visit which will happen not too soon, I will still give them a chance and try their other food!

Steak and eggs. That's what I got. It was good! Steak was tender, cooked to my liking, but I wish there was more! ::-) I'll try the other dishes next time but for a quick steak fix, The Bowery isn't a bad place to get it from.

After dinner at Ninak, a bunch of my cousins and I had a round (or so) of drinks to just chill... We drove all the way from Makati to Burgos Circle, with no plan in mind... Those unplanned, spur-of-the-moment things are usually the ones that result in good memories...128077

So we walked around for awhile, until my cousin suggested The Bowery... We were led to the second floor and were ready to sit indoors... That is until we saw that the only available table was beside this very amorous couple... Well, I did say go to bars at your own risk, but that kind of, ummm, show, should be done in a room and on a bed... Shucks!128563 so we just opted to go outside, in the smoking area, but far away from the couple practicing tonsil hockey in the corner... 128540 #mahalangkwartosabgc #dimakaintaysikuya #matindingpangangailangan #freeshow

The Bowery serves NYC comfort food and the place is actually open 24hours during the holiday season... As for the four of us, we ordered our respective drinks and my cousin generously order the Lobster shrimp and truffle Mac and cheese for all of us to share... My drink was the cucumber creation something or the other, which was very refreshing...128077

Their Mac and cheese was to die for... Period... It had heaps of lobster, shrimps and the truffle taste was pronounced as well... The flavors blended well together, nothing was overpowering... Absolutely delicious!!! Surprisingly filling!128077 and very expensive at P1200... Yikes and thanks cuz!128516128516128516

Friendly staff and very reasonable serving time... Very dirty bathroom though...128078

Can I just say that only my brother recognized Jake Cuenca... Sorry naman, celebrity is lost on me...128540

Not sure why but we didn't fully enjoyed the food here 128549

We ordered the short rib grill cheese and steak & eggs.

Short rib grill cheese was not warm anymore when served. I was really excited to try this one since there were a lot of good reviews. But i don't know. Maybe I expected too much? Nothing really special, I am so sorry. 128560128524

Steak & Eggs was good. The steak was tender and tasty and the eggs were done perfectly. We liked the potatoes. We enjoyed this one better.

Plus they're kinda pricey. And service wasn't that good, either. I'm not sure if i'll be back here anytime soon (or ever again?) 128546

The seven layer Death by Chocolate is the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted in my entire existence! This cake costs an arm but what the heck it was really that good. One can have this cake ordered whole with a lead time of one day at a staggering cost of P4000 + for 16 slices. Their buttermilk chicken with waffles was oh so great too one of the best buttermilk chicken. For some NY style comfort food they are open 24/7.

Organic eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, spicy pork beans, and tomatoes! This is the English Breakfast from their brunch menu (only available during weekends and holidays.)

Pretty pricey at almost Php 400 but it was also pretty good. I can't complain about the quality. The sausage I didn't like that much but maybe it's because it had a hint of either cinnamon or nutmeg. Other than that, it was a good and filling meal. 128522

Place looks pretty nice also. I like the floor to ceiling black-bordered windows and the brick walls.

Service was okay, not the best. There was a fly hovering around us and the servers were just watching us battle it out with the fly. Haha.

Bowery ... another quiet place to peacefully watch people...in the late afternoon or sometimes even into the night....love the large framed window panels bringing in light into the place . Soft sunlight on my face was a good change ..the steps at the entrance gv us a big problem tho ... good grief there were only us & friends were able to help me in... so embarrassing ....hate the attention & the hopeless feeling

Swedish meatballs were savory & perfect with the apricot glazed.... juicy & flavorful.

Chicken was crisp on the outside & moist inside ... tasted fine... not great....serving good for sharing

Chowder was served hot ... though looking more like pumpkin soup ... Taste was okay.

pasta was generous with clams & mussels were big & lusciously sweet ,creamy & toss on heavy sauce ,serving size would be better if a wee bit bigger.

Salmon mascarpone didn't come & waffle not on stock... Service was on the slow side .. Tho servers keep apologizing & we were not in a hurry ... So all's well ends well... had a good time with my crazy lovable friends ..... They made me feel so loved

Less 111088️.... No provision for wheelchair accessibility

Late entry. Ate here the other day. I was really impressed with their grilled cheese sandwich arugula. Very tasty. Bread formed that brown crust perfectly with the butter. Cheese was nice and gooey. Potato chips was a good compliment to the sandwich. Would go back for this.

I'm on a perpetual hunt for the best chocolate cakes in Manila, and this is by far the second best chocolate cake I've had (Can you guess the first? Haha). This has 7 different chocolate ingredients, 1 of which I'm betting is Valrhona.127851
