The Breadery presents their take on the salted egg craze with their Salted Egg Croissant. Special shout out to my buddy Reich T for telling me about this a few days ago. Perfect timing because my friends and I went to Rodic's UP Town earlier to have lunch. We entered The Breadery, and I recall that I'd been here over a year ago or so when it was the only establishment open in the (then) new wing of UP Town. I had coffee and a nice complementary bread. They offer various types of bread, cakes and pastries. And their flavors are pretty interesting, so worth an exploration if you're not opposed to the pitfalls of carbs. 128517

The salted egg croissant is very good. I've always been fond of the croissant's crunchy exterior, flakiness and layers. This kind is round, sprinkled with powdered sugar, and the main differentiator, the salted egg, is the filling in the middle. The salted egg was exquisite, generous in amount, rich in taste, and heaven in my mouth. Haha. I think I'd enjoy this better if I toasted it, but the croissant was still pretty good. Solid 4.5/5. P65 each. Good job, guys!

I also tried their cream cheese tart. Decent but not in the league of Lava, much less, Bake (in Japan coz it hasn't opened here yet).

The 5 is for the salted egg croissant, rounded up to 5. Brilliant.

This marks the first time i am trying cold brew.  Yes,  i am late in joining the cold brew bandwagon.

CMA got a medium sized cup to share.  I took a sip and... WOAH!  that's coffee alright.  It is like getting hit by a jolt of electricity.  This is a perfect drink to awaken the nerves.

It's Teachers Day last Wednesday and went to UP TownCenter so early to buy gift for my son class adviser, it's hard to decide what to give since it's a male.

The store open that early is Breadery. Bought assorted of pastries then paid additional 50pesos for this nice basket container. Nice gift if you can't think of any 127850127838

The Breadery is my favourite bakery from now on.  Man,  i just realized that they make the meanest toasted cheese bread.  And i was so captivated by the bread i forgot to snap a photo,  silly me.

To compensate for the lack of photographic evidence,  i decided to get an almond croissant.  I made him eat it so i can write a review.  He said it's delicious (Disclaimer: He hasnt eaten a lot of croissants in his lifetime so there is no point of comparison,  Yes -  he asked if i could include that in my review).   He said the bread had the right texture - soft and flaky.

I am definitely coming back to Breadery,  i want more toasted cheese bread.

I think I found a better dupe for BAKE cheese tarts. I know everyone's going crazy over Kumori's version but I think this one is closer but unfortunately, pricier. At 75php/piece, you get a bigger tart with rich and creamy cheese mousse on a crispy dense crust. SO GOOD! Plus you can see specks of vanilla on the cheese filling too! Craving for a piece right about now!128522

One of the BEST places for bread!!

A few of my favourites are: cheese bread, croissant, choco-hazelnut roll, flat bread pizza, and Kouign-amann. Although a little pricey, they're worth it. Everything is baked fresh daily, and they only use the best ingredients.

Their bread and cold brew coffee makes a really good snack.

Their cheese roll is our favorite! I didn't even bother to take a picture as it has gone to our tummies in a jiffy 128523 In the photo is their equally delicious Kouign aman.
Price is a bit steep but they do sell their bread @ 50% off by the end of the day. 128523

Before going home last June 4, we were in UPTC and was thinking of buying Pasalubong for mom, finally checked the Breadery. It's a bake shop where all the products are freshly baked and a variety of choices. From croissants to turnovers and even to coffee and other drinks. The breads smells good, looks beautiful and price is affordable. Got apple pie for mom for around 100 pesos. Self service by the way 127838

The Breadery is a regular at The Gourmand Market.  I visit UPTC every week and i never bothered trying them.

I gave in and bought some bread for takeaway.  I like their  croissant and the hokkaido bun.  Some of their products are pretty steep but i say,  you get your money's worth.

My son LOVES croissants. So we got five to take home. He ended up eating two at the place. Good butter croissants. Tried the chocolate croissants... Blah. Should not be completely chocolate. It was like eating unsweetened choco powder raw... Because that was what was on top of the bread and what the flaky part tasted like. Inside the choco croissant wasn't so bad. So maybe they should have butter chocolate croissants instead... Choco on the inside with some choco drippings on top. All choco tastes blek.

Price is a bit steep for bread...75 bucks for a croissant? Really? Plus over 100 bucks for "yucky" choco croissant? Yucky is a quote from
my toddler who loves chocolate... Eeesh. 3 choco croissants were almost the equivalent of 5 plain butter ones... Yeowch!

Service was good and friendly though. So 3 stars. Butter croissant saved their butts this time.

Yes, I love carbs! And I get oh so excited every time I come across breads and loafs. And so when a friend of mine bought bread from this shop, I couldn't help myself. I had to try and taste their bread.

So imagine my delight when I saw this on the shelf with a nice tag that read: "Chocolate Blue Mountain Coffee". I swooned! Haha

You have coffee AND chocolate... as a loaf of bread. How perfect is that for breakfast? I love the combination of flavors and the right amount of sweetness of this bread. In fact , I wouldn't mind eating it anytime of the day. Must try! :)

More than their breads, I am most impressed with their staff. They really know what they sell. They can very well answer any questions you may have regarding their products, from its ingredients to how it tastes including beverages . The downside I guess would be the price. They have products which are a bit expensive. Recently I tried their Canale which they said is a famous pastry in Paris. It is priced at Php 75 each. Considering how small it is, it's expensive but definitely worth the try 128077

It might be kind of expensive but the quality is worth it. I'd say it's a upscale version of bread talk.

Must try:
Three mushroom pastry
Blue mountain coffee bread
Truffle bread

Actually all of their bread is really good and they let you try it for free you just need to find your favorite.

Their coffee is also very good, strong taste and flavor. You can taste the layers of chocolate and coffee coming together. Try the marbled cold brew or the white chocolate macadamia if you love your coffee creamy.
