This is what my friend ordered--it's a fritata and she liked it. I on the other hand ordered the Spanish sardine omelette rice. It was ok, they used the Spanish sardine oil to flavor the rice so it was quite oily, and the bits in it were very few. I wish they'd use more fish so it doesn't feel like I'm just eating oil and rice :/ But overall ambience and service was ok. Don't sit on the couch, it's quite low so it'll be a bit of a challenge to eat if you are on the petite side.

Been wanting to try this because of its cool interior and breakfast concept. They open as early as 7am. We went there as a group. I had Steak and Eggs, well done, with potatoes on the side (P315) and hazelnut coffee (P60). It tastes good esp the steak (nevermind its weird shape. Lol) Really tasty, except the fact that we waited for more than an hour before the food was served. They lack staff that day. 128532

The breakfast table
A very bright breakfast reastaurant I was looking for one lonely Sunday afternoon. Really good they have quite good wifi! I could actually write reviews!
I was looking at their menu and was surprised that they have papa diddy's ive cream! Turns out to be the owner of this restaurant also is the owner of papa diddy's! The owner must be well versed in filipino culture since both are heavily of filipino menus
However. There are some japanese fusion evidenced by a couple of filipino breakfast served with omurice. And if you are looking for #scotched eggs, they have it here too!
128204northern exposure
Choice of either vigan or tugegarao longganisa
128262tugegarao longganisa- as opposed to vigan which is garlic in taste, tuguegarao tastes smoky and a bit salty. All dry so best with vinegar.
choice of plain/sardines/garlic/coffee rice
128262Coffee rice. Since i already know how garlic rice taste, and they say sardines is just spanish sardines mixed in rice, i chose coffee. Upon tasting the coffee-infused rice, i suddenly remember my youth days where my tita would dip my sinangag rice with coffee and “dunk” it in my mouth. Very similar... It's pretty bitter coffee at first followed by a sweet sugar hint at the end.
Includes 2 eggs with your choice of how it's prepared
128262sunny side up and poached eggs
The poached egg was perfectly cooked! The sunnyside has toasted edges. Try them! You can also have them scrambled, soft boiled, hard boiled,..
Choice of atchara or guisadong kamatis
128262Guisadong kamatis (tomatoes) really good serving of stir fried tomatoes
128204128525tbt cooler
A mix of calamansi, tanglad (lemongrass), pandan, malunggay and muscuvado.
The malunggay is “infused” no visible leaves. It cant be even tasted. Weakest among the infusion of ingredients.
The calamansi followed by the tanglad are the most present in taste and in smell. It is the muscovado sugar that makes it brown.
Aftertaste: pandan. It's quite cute cause pandan tastes like very faint tapioca.
Service is good (cause the place was not full, and i believe it has improved. The reviews before i find it not so much in reality. Just give it a try 1285329996

Discovered this haven a week ago and I've been to this place twice already. I love the homey feeling and the good vibes atmosphere it brings. But most of all, their variation of food is definitely going to be a discussion between your pallette and your stomach as everything on the menu is something you'd like to try. This is my current favorite place.

Disappointing. Nothing special about the food. Small serving and pricey. We ordered pancakes and some of it were burnt. We had it replaced. Attached photo: Northern Exposure (Php 210)

Tried this breakfast place along Maginhawa. We got the breakfast plate for two, with your choice of rice, egg style, and choice of the type of longganiza. It was good for that price point, but wasn't that special or unique. Taho shake is good and the mango yogurt shake was great. We also ordered the fritatta, which was very disappointing. It seems that it was stocked in the refrigirator for days and just reheated in the microwave. It was bland, super dry and very unappealing. And that slice is pegged at 120? Bad move. Come on i expect a freshly cooked fritatta! It's very easy to cook it and it doesn't need to be stocked. We went there aroubd 830 on a weekday and the place is almost packed and there were only 2 servers that time.

Invaded the famous, "Maginhawa St." last Sunday. At around past 5pm, the long stretch of this place started to be filled with cars and people. The Breakfast Table has been a familiar resto for me ( saw it in instagram of celebs) , not only that they are at less crowded place plus we are lucky enough to park right away.

The place has nice and interesting decors all over: distressed furnitures, shovel displays, jeans turned to placemats, and shabby chic! with interiors designed in the shade of light blue and ecru.
The server recommended their Omurice meals.. So i have Sardine Omurice, since the 2 other meals are not available 128517 ( spanish sardine rice with pepper, tomatoes wrapped in scrambled eggs, and a lonely sardine... Kawawa naman! ). Warning: carbo alert! 128548 but its good and a bit spicy. I also tried their barako pressed coffee.. And love the kick128563 Aside from what i have, my dear companion ordered,Steak & Eggs ( australian rib eye,2 eggs and roasted tomatoes).. Tasted it. And its ok.

My verdict, being a breakfast meal lover, for me its ok and this is something I can always eat. (But nothing really spectacular). Love the interiors, which felt like waking up in the morning being served with good food.

For one, interior was really nice. I really love the idea of buckets used as ceiling lights. Denim cut-outs for place mats, bottles for the resto's design.

Food is okay. We tried, Northern Exposure and Tapa Nation, basically these are meals with 2 eggs, rice, side dish - all cooked/given your choice.

Eggs are either scrambled, fried or poached.
Rice are either plain, garlic or sardines.
Side dishes are either atsara or ginisang kamatis.

It's fairly priced for a meal ranging 200-400Php. They also have sandwiches and drinks you can choose from. Presentation of food was so-so, taste was ordinary. Good thing, the resto was very relaxing to the eye. I would love to eat there evey breakfast and feel light and relaxed with a cup of coffee and a book beside. 128077🏼

The place was quiet and serene. It was also decorated with materials pleasant to the eyes so we didn't mind spending much of our time here. There was nothing special about the food, but their taho milkshake is a must!

Went for the eggs TBT since I trust looloo reviews. We liked it! Eggs benedict with tinapa for a Pinoy twist. Serving size was small though, but all eggs benedict are too small for my appetite!

We also tried the binagoongan omurice. Skip this!

Taho shake was good, refreshing for a hot sunny day.

I like this place more than Ally's. 128540

My friends and I decided to try this place out but since we already ate at another resto, we decided to just share some of their dishes.

The first thing you'll feel when you step inside is the place's rustic, homey ambiance. It's very chill and laid back, like waking up early on a cool, lazy morning hihi.

We got the breakfast pizza and the eggs and bacon. The breakfast pizza was yummy, quite oily though but still delicious. However, it got too overpowering as I continued eating it, so I'm glad I had a couple of people to share this with. The eggs and bacon was also nice, although the bread pudding was kind of sweet. This dish, I could've finished on my own though, even if I was full. Would like to come back and try the other stuff on the menu, maybe even make my own breakfast (something else that they offer).
