I miss Cebu 128532 and my memories of this place with Angela Marie C as we meet again Valentines' of this year. Our first ever mini |ooloo eat-up 128522 Wanting to meet up with other |oolooers in Cebu, we ended just the two of us nalang. Pero tuloy pa rin ang foodtrip naming dalawa 128517

The first time I've dined at The Buzz Cafe was during my 2012 visit in Bohol. Now so very excited and giddy to visit this cafe knowned for it's malunggay ice-cream 128522

I ordered Grilled Fish (360php) served with organic red rice and cassava fresh lumpia (which I absolutely 10084️) and a glass of Lemongrass Juice (80php).

I didn't quite like how my dish was cooked 128533 Rice was a bit dry, the fish was overcook and dry. The cassava lumpia was the only good thing about it 128517.

Service was okay and the waitresses were friendly and helpful when we were choosing what to order.

The ambiance of the place was also nice. It had that touch of Bohol atmosphere, which I really liked the most 128522

Haven't tried their food YET because the last time we went, there are no more vacant seats available. Hence, we only tried their ice cream which goes in different exotic flavors. I bought one of their best-sellers which is the Malunggay ice cream. I'll surely be back and try their food.

Valentine's Yey! I got to (finally) meet up with Nikki C after quite a number of tries since the first Cebu |ooloo rendezvoos. 128517 It was so much fun, plus it was nice not being alone on this Hallmark-made occasion.

I've already eaten in their main branch in Bohol, but that wouldn't stop me from dining here again. I told myself I would try other stuff from their menu, and that I did. 128522

I had the Seafood Lasagna, and I really enjoyed it. When we were ordering, I openly expressed to the waitress that I wanted to have a Lumpia to go with my pasta dish. I remembered I loved it. The complimentary side was just for Meat and Fish dishes, but it was worth a try. And the lady was nice enough to put it on my plate! So sweet!!! 128525

The Seafood Lasagna was delicious. I thought it would just taste like a regular lasagna dish, but the fishy flavor was really pronounced than expected, and it complimented very well with the tomato sauce. The cheese was just over-baked that it was a bit hard and dry, but still throughout the time I was finishing my dish (about an hour and a half because of all the chit-chats in between) my pasta was nice and warm. It was great! 128077🏼

I had the B-Squashed for my beverage. It was a smoothy with squash, ginger and mangoes. At first the gingery flavored bothered me that I had to washed down my first four gulps with a glass of water. But after quite some time, it grew on me and I actually enjoyed it too. 128513

Nikki's dish looked awesome too. It was also recommended by the waitress, but I'll let her write about her food too. 128517

All in all, it was great, and I would love to come back! 128513

Havent actually tried the Cafe but had their ice cream!
Surprisingly the Malunggay ice cream was good! Guyabano too was really delicious but judging from peoples orders, Avocado is the best seller!

Liked the place, very homey and I dig the native decor all the way down to their napkin holders. Didn't like that it took a while to get seated but that was expected of a place that had less than 5 dining establishments. Staff was nice and pleasant but as the place was really busy, took us 4 tries before we got some water to drink. Now for the food:

Spare Ribs - fall if the bones tender taste was ok not spectacular (not a fan of very sweet sauces on my meat)
Honey Glazed Chicken - actually good but chicken was a bit tough
Grilled Fish - nicely grilled with just the right char and good seasoning
Cheese Pizza - very yummy didnt think I'd enjoy a meatless pizza so much
Coco Rum Ice Cream - very nice, liked that I could taste only a hint of rum so it was not overpowering but what made it so good was the camote cone, tasted like fresh corn tortillas.

Best thing about the place, it wasn't overpriced for such a hyped resto and they served complimentary appetizers of squash bread with pesto and mango spread, and pickles in cassava chips. ;)

Behold ,the Buzzz Cafe from Bohol Bee Farm is finally here at the Queen City of the South. I was able to have a glimpse during their opening last December 10,2015 at the new Robinsons Galleria Cebu. I also got a chance to have met the owners of the Bohol Bee Farm and they were so down to earth and accomodating. Buzzz Cafe originally from Bohol specifically at Panglao Island. As far as Ive known, they got 3 Buzzz Cafe outside the Bohol Bee Farm: one at Alona Beachfront, an ice cream stall at the street going to Alona, and a cafe at the Island City mall. They are known to serve the fresh ingredients from their farm/garden. The owners decided to open a branch outside Bohol for the first time which is the one at the Robinsons Galleria. They sourced all their ingredients from the farm so their current location at the Galleria is perfect as it is near to the Pier for fastcrafts going to Bohol. For a person like me who frequent the Bohol soils, im an addict of their ice creams and its unique flavors. A scoop of their ice cream will cost you 40 pesos when in Panglao and 60 pesos if bought at Robinsons Galleria Cebu (thats a fair price knowingly that they have to ship it from Panglao) . Their ice cream is served on a cone made from cassava, not the usual cone but you will love it definitely. Their famous flavor is the malunggay ( a must try). They also got buko, durian, dragonfruit, pandan and a lot more. Personally, im obsessed with their buko ice cream. Its not the usual buko ice cream that you've tasted ( trust me...). Im always on a crave for it and thank God that its only 1 ride away by road and not by sea anymore ahahhahahah. Aside from their ice creams, they also sell their staple breads and spreads here. You must try the Pesto Cream Cheese spread, it is a knock out. The inner portion of the cafe is their spacious restaurants wherein you can have your organic meals over there. I have tried their meals at the Bohol Bee Farm but not in this branch yet.. soon. I love their country rustic interiors of the place. When you're in Cebu, don't forget to drop by at the Buzzz Cafe and experience Bohol's pride. ( you don't have to go to Bohol just have a taste of it)
