Not a fan of this place. I think it's overpriced for not so good food. But my mom insisted to have merienda here. Hehe

I really didn't feel like getting anything from their menu. I was even considering getting take out from some place else, but I ended up getting Kofta from the very wide selection of the menu. Kofta is a mix of beef and lamb balls. My order came with 4 pieces on top of a piece of pita with each a slice of tomato and onions.

They were good with their special white sauce, but I only ate 2 pieces, and another one at home.

This place is not part of my choices for eating out. I'll only eat here again when someone insists. Haha 9996

Finally got to try this resto a few nights ago. Efficient and accommodating staff + good food. Cyma is still my favorite though when it comes to Greek food. Hehe. 128513

Hi Mediterranean Cafe, I think you just won my heart a million times today. I super loved everything we've tried from this place!!! GAAAAH.

What we ordered:
‼️‼️ Chicken Kebab with Biryani Rice (P340/with Pita, P390 with Biryani Rice) - It is an expensive meal for one person but I'm telling you, this dish is worth every penny you spend!!! It is just so good!!! The chicken was very flavourful and cooked to perfection and complemented the already flavourful Biryani rice. This is actually served with Pita as a default but you can opt to change it to Biryani (+P50) or Buttered Rice (+P30).

‼️‼️ Eggplant Parmigiana (P325) - I liked this dish a lot because I love cheese and eggplants!! This is the best alternative to the meaty lasagna I've been craving for. It's not a healthy dish but it is still something worth trying!!!!

‼️‼️ Iced Coffee (P105) - It's good but not something extraordinary. I think the coffee is a little too sweet as well but still something worth trying.

‼️‼️ Moroccan Mint Tea (P105) - it had a very minty taste. I tried the cold brew today so I don't know if having it hot would make the experience different.

‼️ Chicken Gyro with Buttered Rice (P320) - not in photo. It's a bit a dry and lacked the flavor the other dishes had. It's not as bad but the taste became better when we added the Garlic Yoghurt and Chili!!! The Garlic Yoghurt also lacked the garlic taste I'm looking for. Uncle moe's Garlic Yoghurt is still the best for me!!!

I JUST REALIZED I GAVE THIS RESTAURANT REALLY HIGH RATINGS!!! Haha anyway, it was a really good experience dining here! Everything was just perfect even tho we didn't like the chicken gyro so much!!

Legend:
‼️‼️ Must try
‼️ Good but skippable

We had Quattro Formaggi/Four Cheese (P345) and their Large Plate of Shish Taouk (P315) which we asked to split in half for my friend and I! The Shish Taouk is a traditional Turkish shish kebab based on Syrian and Lebanese cuisine. Their version tasted a bit ordinary for me, it doesn't have that wow factor although it has the authentic feel to it. So if you're just up for the authenticity, you should try this one. I do enjoyed their Quattro Formaggi!! (I'm a sucker for cheese pizzas, that's why! Haha!) It contains mozzarella, gorgonzola, parmesan and fontina cheeses. Partnered with their spicy sauce, it was a winner! Definitely enjoyed every bite of it!

You can also see a glimpse of their floor pattern (that we really loved, btw) at the lower right corner of this photo! 128149 We loved the local Greek ambiance that it brings!!

P.S. Such approachable staff. Definitely in love with the service!

I love the ambiance, the Greek tavern vibe. Really good interior designing, so on point!128076 I didn't really enjoy my meal tho. I got the Parmesan crusted fish fillet with Basmati rice. For a big serving, the price was just right. Presentation/plating was nice, but not so big on the flavors.

If I were to decide, not eating here again next time.
