Cafe Med will always be in my favorite list of restos, they always serve a good meal. 128076 This gyro chicken with biryani rice comes with well-flavored and well-cooked chicken, complemented by various dips. Not sure what the others are called but my favorite among the three is the hummus. Add some fiery hot sauce and the meal is complete! 128523

Chicken gyro plate is yum! The perfectly seasoned chicken is super tender, I loved it. Serving size is good too, it's definitely a go-to-place for full meals. 128523

My sister and her love for Falafel brought us here. Cafe Med's version is her absolute favorite.

On the table
🔹Eggplant Parmigiana - I was abstaining from meat and the server wasn't so clear when I asked him about the difference between this and the Vegetarian Moussaka so I went with something familiar. The dish was piping hot. Loved how the melted cheese, tomato sauce and eggplants went so well together. I place some of the Garlic Sauce for extra flavor. I even added Garlic Sauce to the crunchy bread too.
🔹Falafel Wheat Gyro - This was a yummy mouthful. The Falafel was crunchy, tasty and very heavy.
🔹Lassi - my sister liked her drink but it made her full right away

I loved how the Garlic Sauce was just on the table and I could eat as much as I wanted. The Hot Sauce was extremely spicy and it smelled real spicy too.

It has been ages since my last Cafe Med meal but I'm sure I'll be back more often. My sister can have her Falafel and I'll try one of those meaty dishes.

*Service was great.

The Gyros Chicken Plate was excellent. I love that they have "unlimited" sauce. I will definitely be back. Service was great! Only complaint would be the prices. I'm a cheapskate so some dishes are expensive for me.

Want free hummus with pita bread? All you gotta do is download [task] by Artise de Solution according to the waiter. We immediately did that and voila, free hummus! Basically, it's a new marketing app wherein consumers are asked to do basic tasks and get rewarded with freebies.

Their beef gyro plate is my no-fail all time favorite comfort meal on rainy days when I'm craving for rice. I love how it's such a complete package with beef gyro, buttered rice, mousala, tzatziki and chillied pickles. Mixed a little garlic yogurt sauce with chili and you're in for the ride of your taste buds!

Place: The quaint design of the place "cafe mediterranean", was totally an eye-catcher . The theme's great, and was able to integrate it well as evidenced by the paintings, light fixture, wooden ceiling and other designs that helped in making the experience more delightful. However, the only downside was that the chairs and tables weren't that complementary with the overall layout - they weren't exactly comfy.
Food: For a light lunch, we had a falafel gyro plate split into two, and a serving of chicken gyros. One order of falafel plate was too much for one person so it was a good idea that we had it split into two. Although the serving was big, the falafels weren’t as tasty as expected. The falafels came with buttered rice, grilled veggies, and yogurt. The chicken gyros, on the other hand, was okay. It contained grilled chicken strips, and vegetables wrapped in pita bread. I also tried their pesto 127837128522128077..
I think when I go back again here, it will be for pesto and also will try their kebabs..nice place and good food..

Our family tremendously enjoyed our lunch in Cafe Mediterranean. We had hummus, falafel, baba ganoush, grilled lamb, lamb stew and a small plate of pasta. All the dishes excited our palates, kudos to the Chef!

We will definitely come back, but next time we'll leave space for dessert 9786

Delicious food and great service.

Had a shepherds salad to start since I was craving some fresh veggies, I was not disappointed. For a main I got the lamb gyro with basmati rice instead of puta bread. These guys really know their stuff, chilli sauce and garlic sauce were both amazing (might need a warning label on the chilli its good and it!!)

Will likely be back here to try some other dishes as I love Mediterranean food and this place really delivers.

Always a safe place that offers decent food at reasonable prices... NOT ANYMORE! Price increase of at least 30% makes this place ridiculously pricey. Will have 2nd thoughts of coming back...

Another quick review! On the photo is their 7-Layer Dip which was served with crispy pita. I loved this starter! So glad it also caught my cousin's attention when we were checking their menu. There's hummus, feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes in it; the other four layers, I forgot. Hahaha. I also ordered their chicken gyro; I liked this, too. Flavorful and filling! My cousin had grilled beef with butter rice, as well. The meat was tender and the rice was perfect with it. Everything we ordered was good for sharing and budget-friendly, too! It was the right decision to have our catch-up dinner here 128522

Beautiful dish of grilled chicken, perfectly moist and tender! Served with mixed greens, which provided a good balance to the savory meat... Paired with soft pita, keeping the dish from becoming too overpowering... The flavors blended effortlessly together with each bite!128077
Of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try the baklava! Crumbly filo pastry plus pistachio, a dessert with just the right amount of sweetness to cleanse your palate... Perfect ending to a Mediterranean inspired meal!✅11088128154128525

Last Sunday...
Edward V: Let's have a light lunch lang.
Me: Ok.

His choice of resto was Cafe Mediterranean. We ordered:
- Beef Gyro with buttered rice
(Edward will do the review for this one)

- Greek Salad
(It was very yummy.128077 Peanut D, it only had peta cheese! Hindi lasang amag.128516)

- Chicken Kebab with buttered rice
(I loved the chicken kebab as it was juicy and very tender. The rice was also flavorful and not oily. I think it was also a hefty serving for one. I was really full after the meal).

Service was also very good. Our waiter was very attentive and refilled our drinks even before we could call him.

So, going back to Edward's idea of a light lunch, this I have to say: Anyare?! 128561128516

If you don't like your food, someone else's order will taste better. That's what happened to me, I ordered something forgettable and when I looked to my right, my friend's plate of kebab skewers WITH RICE looked sooo good. I will give this a rating based on my friend's meal! (Does that count?) hahaha! 128522

Cafe Med's Moussaka with Moroccan Rice Pilaf and Tzatziki with Pita Bread. Yummy food choices from this place. Their Moussaka with Moroccan Rice Pilaf, perhaps not for everyone's taste buds, but an excellent choice for foodies with the craving of something pungent, aromatic, and tasty.

Its been ages since I've last visited a Cafe Med branch. If I recall right, the last time I've eaten at Cafe Med was before they closed their Galleria branch.

Their Tzatziki . Grated cucumber in a yoghurt-garlic dressing. Healthy and refreshing. Good munch eats with the pita bread. I enjoyed adding a few dots of Cafe Med's garlic and chili gyros sauce.

How I miss eating their Moussaka! . There was an option to have it served with pita , buttered rice, couscous, or Moroccan Rice Pilaf. I always get the Moroccan Rice Pilaf.

The dish was served. A good layered serving of grilled Eggplant Slices , ground meat -tomato sauce topped with a rich bechamel white sauce with cheese. The Moroccan Rice Pilaf, coated with a brownish mix of pungent, aromatic North African spices of cumin , cardamom, and cinnamon. The rice had toasted almond slivers that added a nutty texture. A small side serving of boiled -seasoned green beans came also with it.

I'm still loving the Moussaka! The eggplant, excellently grilled (undercooked eggplant leaves an acidic -acrid taste), the ground meat- tender, nicely seasoned and stewed in a good tarty-sweet tomato sauce mixture, and the white sauce topping--creamy, thick, rich, nutty (they put nutmeg), with a good faint cheesy kick. The savory dish was indeed filling. Reminiscent of a good lasagna-parmigiana (without the noodles). Perfectly paired with the Moroccan rice for that perfect tasty African-Med flavor.

I must say that the pairing is an acquired taste. For foodies with low tolerance for pungent dishes, I recommend that you substitute the Moroccan Rice with the Buttered Rice or pita bread. But IMHO, my usual pairing was the best combination.

Cafe Med still makes my taste buds very happy!

I love lamb dishes when done right! The Moroccan Lamb Stew is so bomb. I wish I could spare 400+ pesos everyday! Lamb gyro plate is awesome too. Service is fantastic - waiters are attentive and friendly. I come back to this restaurant whenever I can and it never disappoints. They definitely deserve 5 stars.
