Right after our dinner at XO46, we went here for coffee and desserts. I had a cup of hot Genmaicha green tea and a slice of their new cake, the Nono's Chocolate Oblivion. It was just okay. Like a chocolate mousse? Chocolate cake with whipped chocolate cream, cocoa powder with walnuts and praline. It was hmmm... creamy and sweet. I kind of liked it but next time, I'll stick with the cheesecake. 128517 Service was good and barista were all nice. They close really late so this is a good tambay place.

After the daily drinking sessions for the last three nights, my system was already screaming for a much needed break!!! My mind needed a jumpstart to survive the rest of the day... Plus, we needed a place to hangout before our movie started... We argued whether to eat dessert or to get coffee (or let's just be honest, to have both)... Well, our brunch was a bit too heavy, thus we opted for just coffee... Thus, passing up the opportunity to visit the last days of the weekend market at Century City Mall... Next time!128513

So, we went to Coffee Bean at the Ground Floor... As much as I love their Peppermint mocha, I need a break from it! I ordered the Toffee Nut Latte from CBTL, again... I don't really know which version is better, Coffee Bean's or Starbucks'... But I do like them both... I think the Starbucks version has a hint of bitterness at the end which the CBTL version did not have... It might just be that I'm not too used to the CBTL version, not sure... Both lattes are still pretty good though!!!128522

I felt better and more awake after, the sugar and caffeine combined with the oil and spice (from my earlier meal), rebooting my mind... And I have a resolve never to drink for three days straight ever again... I'm too old for this s**t!!!128517

Nice staff!!!128515

So last week I was at this Coffee Bean twice in a row - after dinner and waiting out traffic. I enjoy this branch because they're open until 12 midnight, which is great if you're need to get work done while waiting for traffic to tone down.

After that first day dinner, I was so full and didn't know what I could order aside from my usual Double Chocolate. The barista (whose name I will find out next time!) recommended I get the Peach Fruit Tea, not too filling but kind of on the fruity and relaxing side. After much deliberation, I ended up trying it - and I liked it! The next day I was back and I ordered it again! Haha. The barista who recommended it to the day prior was there and was glad I liked her recommendation.

Service-wise, this place is great. Servers are really nice and efficient, and they initiate conversations with the customers, which makes for a bit of feel good coffee time.

Cleanliness and environment wise, this place is really good. It's mostly quiet on weekdays, which makes it an ideal place to rest and relax, and work. It's also a good place for conversations, though in terms of space it's not that large so it can't take in that many people, not entirely a bad thing.

Yeah, I quite like it here.

Had a meeting with a client here. I got the African sunrise tea which Jacy L mentioned in my previous review of this cafè.

I was thinking of getting a Vanilla Latte, but this branch didn't have most of their ingredients needed for my requested drink. So I settled for a hot cup of African sunrise tea. It's mild, sweet and has an inviting aroma (honey-like) that will surely entice you in every sip. My earl grey tea found its way home and I, wholeheartedly welcome African sunrise to my (brewed tea) home.

My friend and I had a quick meeting about their plans of making a website at this branch of CBTL. I'm not really sure if I'll be involved, let's say, like a consultant or what, but he gave me some details about it during our discussions. 128064

But anyway, I got a grande-size Hot chocolate and a piece of their Chocolate chip cookie. The hot chocolate with marshmallows has been always my favorite aside from their earl grey tea and sunrise smoothie. The chocolate chip cookie was also good, a bit moist (but not as moist as the team's favorite cookie...ever) and yummy all over. 128523

The servers have been very attentive and courteous at all times. They were very entertaining and always throws that killer smile to every customer.

Ordered my usual large cup of Moroccan Mint Tea Latte. Consistently good in any branch. 128513

Service here is good! The Barista was so friendly! As in cute! Like you can fit her in your pocket! She might even fit in the little pocket in your pocket. Hahahaha 128513 Sobrang hyper friendly. But effective naman. A little perkiness doesn't hurt. 128513

First time to have coffee here at the Century City mall branch and I must say that it's a good place to have long kwentuhan/chikahan because it's not crowded. :)
