After our buffet dinner we needed some warm drinks to calm our tummies down. This branch is smaller and had limited chairs and tables. We ordered coffee to tea and I redeemed a free upgrade coupon for chai tea latte. Not as good as before but still comforting nonetheless.

For the birthday cake my brother requested for a good chocolate cake. I decided to get Nono's Chocolate Oblivion cake. Was supposed to go to gbelt5 makati Classic Confections but still got an errand in pasig area. So I decided to go get it in one of CBTL branch since they do serve the cake. I was able to get a whole cake for 1550php. I think its much expensive compare to buying in Classic Confections.

This is one of my fave chocolate cake. The texture and the sweet whipped chocolate is so good. The sugar coating added more sweetness to the cake. For me I remove the sugar can't handle that level of sweetness. 128518

One coffee shop that is not so crowded and closes very late and opens early. I love to stay here, even alone. I think I'd be able to complete the card for the 2016 planner just by frequently going to this branch.

Went to coffee bean because I believe it is the best place to work peacefully, to eat my favorite sardines pasta, and to drink all my pressure away with a nice hot tea because of deadlines.

My laptop is currently about to die so I need to charge it immediately for me to finish mu work. While I was about to plug, one staff called my attention and told me that I was not allowed to do so. I might be a cause of short circuit she was saying. I think her explanation and purpose was as lame as her personality because she was not able to give any REASONABLE option to make me feel better. She's been roaming around before this moment happened and did not call the attention of the table beaide me who has been using their extension for long time. Why? Is it because i am just wearing a hoodie and shorts and I haven't bought anything yet (because I was trying to settle first) ? I'm not sure if they're trying to discriminate me, but it was so rude! She gave me an option of moving my table near a plug where 2 people are actually using it already. HOW SMART?!

This lady just killed my day, and I don't deserve that! Especially when I'm trying to work now even if I'm sick. I hope this person can be trained well with hospitality, common sense, and customer service. This is such a turn off! HOW INCONVENIENT, COFFEE BEAN, CAPITOL COMMONS!

It has been almost an hour now, and still no achievement because of this. So disappointing :(

The lady I was pertaining to is the one on the dar left.

2nd Stop - Capitol Commons

We went here to meet our other friends to have coffee and sweets before their clinic hours. Hubby asked me to order him his favorite pasta [Sardine and Garlic Linguine] and I had to ask him twice if he was sure since we just had our breakfast at Yellow cab. He was serious though. I want to try their cheesecake so I go for the blueberry cheesecake and paired it with hot mocha latte.

Our orders came one by one and my [warm] coffee was served along with my cake. I asked the barista to reheat my coffee, but she refused. I was a bit irritated with her answer, but I have to stay calm. I worked in a restaurant and I can still remember the rule, "Never make an argument with your food handler". I asked her politely again and informed her that it was served warm and now it's cold. Good thing she got my point. I was given another and new cup of coffee.

As for my blueberry cheesecake, it was okay. Nothing was special about it. Tastes like ordinary cheesecake and I still prefer the oreo cheesecake from the other cafe.

The place was spacious and well-ventilated. Just wondering why they don't have restroom inside their store. If the nature calls, you have to cross the street and go inside the mall. 128528
