Inhale.. Exhale. It was an intense morning last September 7 so after I went from my son school, decided to drop by at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf located at the Ground floor of Regis Centre to take a quick break.

Wanted to have a coffee and chill but the place is full, then no sockets available for mr again! Glad that the Ice Blend double chocolate Frappuccino that I ordered was good to take my stress away. Didn't stay long, hope next visit I'll be lucky to have good seat with a socket behind me.

Not a coffee drinker but it's the blueberry cheesecake that brings me to CBTL. 128525

FREE COFFEE!!!!!!! I got their salted caramel brownie first because I didn't want to buy coffee yet but when the barista asked me for my swirl card and said that I'd get to try their new vanilla almond drink (regular) for free, I decided I wanted to get coffee. 128514 #mukanglibre

It was cool 'cause they just released the drink yesterday and I got the free drink which they were giving out to Swirl card holders for only 2 hours (I think). The drink was alright. Very vanilla-y and almond-y. Galing ko ba mag describe? 128514 It wasn't bad but it's not something I'd buy the next time I decide to go to a CBTL branch. 128513

Thanks for the free drink, CBTL! 128149 It helped me study for our last major exam... Which I still failed anyway. 128555🙄 #BuhayMed #CantDoAnythingRightHere 128565

It's exam weeeeeek again! Ya know what that means? Coffee shop hopping and burning all the money that's in my wallet!

Headed to Coffee Bean a few days ago and got their white chocolate dream latte and tried their salami and cream cheese sandwich. Both were very good especially the sandwich. They were very generous with their cream cheese I have to say. And the latte kept me up all night too. Both items were very good but not very good for my wallet. Cost me almost PHP 500 128563128555

... Doesn't mean I won't do it again hehe.

After I had a quick sweet bites at Mom and Tina's in Katipunan 4 weeks ago, I go down to CBTL at the ground floor of Regis Centre.

My son Latrell Joshua L is requesting pasalubong before hubby fetched me. So I hurriedly ordered pure chocolate Ice blend as recommended by their staff. The price is around 150 pesos and in 5 mins it buzz and good to go!

So happy that ice blend come before hubby arrived, good job especially if your in a hurry 128131128131128131

CBTL is like a piece of home for me. Yummiest salami and cheese sandwiches!!! The salmon is also one of my faves. Eggs Benedict also kicks butt. Most everything on their menu I love, love , love... And they match my favorite Hot Chai Tea Latte perfectly, all the time.

Everything is always kept fresh and tastes fresh. I wish they had a second floor, though, or bigger space. It's always so jam packed full. Maybe they can reduce the smoking area and extend the air-conditioned portion? Peace to our smokers...! LOL. I am an ex-smoker but I think there are more non-smokers who hang out here than smokers. Besides, the darn heat or rain will always want you to seek indoor comfort. Just saying...!

5 humongous wonderful stars for this place!

Oh, and they can open a tab if you intend to stay there a while. I normally have a big group here (5-7) for meetings so I open a tab (leave an ID) and everyone can just keep ordering and you can settle when your meeting is almost done. Cool. :)

Assorted cake slices! 128541 HAHAHAHA Wow, 4 weeks of no gym life and some cakes... I must be over summer now. Bye bikinis, hello sweaters! 128513

My father bought these cake slices last week when we were craving for desserts at home. We can't go out because of the typhoon so he just drove to Coffee Bean and bought there.

I liked them all! 10084️ Chocolate cake, toblerone cake (?), and blueberry cheesecake! 128522 Ahhhh heaven. 128525

After what seems like almost a year due to a reduced menu because of delivery troubles, I decided to pay a visit to CBTL at Regis.

I was not disappointed! There the full menu was, in all its glory, with a new drink to boot: the Affogato. Available in in caramel or vanilla. I was immediately sold on it because to those who don't know yet, I'm a huge sucker for affogatos and absolutely HAVE to try a cafe's affogato, if they have it at all.

Except CBTL's was in the form of a drink, which was interesting. I had a tiny debate with myself if I should order this or their Monday promo of my favorite African Sunrise (among a few others) for only P100. But ultimately, the Affogato won because...I needed the caffeine, and that's the one thing my African Sunrise didn't have.

It's a little pricey for P175 for a regular sized drink (I could get a grande or even venti drink at a certain other coffee shop that rhymes with Starfox). But I think about it like getting that extra shot of espresso as an add-on like in the above-not-mentioned coffee shop, which would bring a tall frap to the same price.

The barista was nice and knowledgable, but the place was a little warm for my liking, especially after walking from Ateneo.

I usually order CBTL's Originl Mocha since I can never go wrong with that. But today, I decided to try something different so I tried tha Mango Ice Blended. the drink tastes pretty good. It is not in any way one's typical mango shake. Rather, I feel like I am drinking a melted mango ice cream and yep, it is that good.

The staffs are courteous and the ambience is very conducive to studying.

I loved their Cream Brulee and Roast Chicken & Mushroom Fusilli pasta 128077128149

The pasta's serving is big so I wasn't able to finish it by myself 128517

My sister lent me her CBTL card so I got to access their wifi. I love it here because it's fast 128522 Plus there are outlets for charging laptops!

The worst CBTL ever. There's never any iced tea. So today I ordered an iced English breakfast tea latte. I had to wait 27 minutes for it and it wasn't even mixed well. May bits of clumped milk powder at the bottom of my drink. Like they rushed the drink. To think it took them almost half an hour to make it.

It's just iced tea but it's nice how they put quotes on your drink. This is the only branch that does this as far as I know. 128077

Service here is always good. Breakfast/food plates are yummy (favorite is Eggs Benedict plate and the salmon)...

Funny enough, I am not a coffee fan but I like their iced coffees (because of the ice chips) compared to other coffee places. I especially love the chai tea latte here. No other gourmet cafe can compare when it comes to CBTL's chai tea latte.

For non-coffee drinks, the apple pie drink is awesome!!! Yummy!!!!

Craving for one now.... Hrrrrrr...!

Missing Canada/the US with a vengeance, because in North America, my name isn't uncommon! Now it's back to reality, where people mis-hear and misspell my name. But it's all good and fun, sometimes.

I'm wondering if CBTL has solved its drinks problem. My past visits were greeted with "I'm sorry, but our only available drink right now is the white chocolate dream" followed by "thank you for understanding." I feel for them, though, because I'm sure they hate disappointing their loyal customers, one after the other.

Time to pay them another visit, I suppose? Just to check.

There isn't anyone here because Ateneo's on sembreak so I took the chance and just stayed here for a while.

Really chill ambiance around lunchtime and barely a student studying so it was really quiet. I had a sparkling apple iced tea because they didn't have mocha but with the heat outside, really worth it. I also had a great spinach and feta cheese quiche for a light lunch.

Anyway! So i opted for the cafe latte instead! It tasted like normal cafe latte naman...... Hahaha!
Also, i got a banana caramel slice! SOOO GOOD! Especially with hot coffee! Perfect start to my day! 128522
