One of the exceptionally few branches with friendly crews. 128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻

I hope all the branches would be like them.
The baristas are very friendly and all smiles.

Since our flight's boarding at 3:30pm and we arrived in the airport early, we ate lunch at Mongkok and then stayed in Coffee Bean after to kill time. We had to leave early, because you'll never know how crazy the Manila traffic will go especially now that it's the holidays. 128513

Wanted CBTL because I need four more drinks for my planner. I'm itching to have it done ASAP because I have a lot to write already. It's gonna be a hectic yet fun year for me! Exciting. 128527

Tried their two holiday cakes from Classic Confections, a talked about cake shop in Greenbelt I have never tried yet. They have the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Nono's Chocolate Oblivion...and we got both. Curious...and they were underwhelming. I may have expected too much from these cakes. 128514 I preferred the pudding while my sister the chocolate cake. We sure have different tastes. The chocolate oblivion was quite soft but very chocolatey. Layers of chocolate cream and choco cake with praline and walnut bits. Good crunch and additional texture to the soft cake. The pudding came with chopped dates BUT i found one big seed. Idk if that's from the dates but why was it there? 128555 tried to bite it but it was rock hard. For sure, it was misplaced. The cake came with toffee sauce, not sweet at all and made the cake's taste better.

For drinks, I have caffeine hiatus because the cardiologist said so. 128541 so I got the iced matcha latte drink. pretty good because it's matchaaa not too sweet. now i'm wondering if this or Starbucks' is better. hmmm. 🤔 my sister got the toffee nut ice blended drink and she said it's okay. creamy and less sweet than Starbucks' version.

WiFi here is quite slow and unstable. 128566 better make use of the airport's 15mbps download speed thanks to Globe 128514

The barista warmly greeted me with a good morning and offered "Iced Americano?" if I want it as my drink. I just smiled and told her "isang ice-blended mocha please, regular". The shock in her face was legit! Hahaha, she thought I'm a Korean. (I get this a lot. even cab drivers who greet me "welcome to the Philippines!") This barista definitely made my morning. 128514128514128514 apparently Koreans usually order that daw pala kasi hindi sila mahilig sa matamis. totally opposite sa atin na super hilig sa asukal! 128527

So I availed of their Mondays Made Better promotion. Iced Blended Mocha, regular size for just 100php and double points pa on my swirl card. 128077🏻128077🏻 the baristas were the usual friendly ones. what i don't like is the place- i find too open, and kulang sa tables and chairs kasi dami tao. not much competition pa kasi Seattle's Best lang and CBTL andito. I wonder when Starbucks and Bo's Coffee will open one here in NAIA 3? Also, pretty stable WiFi. 128512

Chose to eat here on 4/23 around 12nn because there were no lines, unlike Wendy's and the other restos. I ordered their salmon breakfast set. Not wanting to waste time as boarding is in 45mins, I told the cashier that I'd go to the rest room and be back to pick up my order. So I went to the rest room, and waited in line (you know how the ladies' line can be). I returned to CBTL only to be told my order will be served. A good 15mins later, my order has yet to be served. I approached the two ladies in the counter and they gave me the same spiel - my order will be served. I sternly told them it's been 20mins and that I will wait for my order - so I did stand there by the counter waiting for my order, watching the unapologetic staff do nothing. It was the worst customer service I've had in a while. After about 30-35 mins, my salmon scramble was on the counter top, brewed coffee still missing. And when it was served, I was told I can get condiments from the side. Had to give them a earful of a furious lesson in customer service. Since I spent all my free time waiting for the food, had to eat quickly lest I miss boarding my flight. Overall, food was nothing extraordinary, service was totally AWFUL. Now I remember why I do not like CBTL. I do not recommend eating here if you have a few mins to spare before your flight.

I used to have Spicy Tuna Linguine every time I see Coffee Bean around but decided to try their new fish-based pasta.
You can now try their new sardine and garlic linguine at php285. It's not bad at all.

Shops and restaurants at the airport have the opportunity to make or break your day, coming off from such horrible service at the check-in counter. Coffee shops, I imagine, have the most at stake here because, not only are they dealing with irate airline customers, but they are also dealing with cranky early morning customers who lack sleep and who are hungry. Like me.

First off, the tea lattes were still unavailable, due to port congestion. I thought they fixed this problem already as I was able to order tea lattes from a different branch just a couple of days earlier. 128532

Secondly, my order of Eggs Ben was not toasty warm. Why. 128545

Thirdly, the drinks came late. I was already halfway thru my
Eggs Ben (I was hungry so I let the "not warm" issue pass) when they served my brewed coffee. Why did the brewed coffee come last, shouldn't this be the easiest to make?

I was sleepy, cranky, and unsatisfied. I plan to just sleep through the flight to avoid any other unpleasantries.

Same order.. Ever! If you've read my previous reviews then you'll know what I ate. Make sure you have extra money because I paid Php20 more than the usual price. It's more expensive because they're located the airport. I can barely remember if there were seats coz it took it somewhere else and joined my friends.

Same great taste! 128523

Our flight was in the morning (around 8:30 am) so we decided to have breakfast in the airport. We saw advertisements/signs that Coffee Bean was now open so we decided to eat there. The place is quite full but we managed to grab a table for ourselves. I ordered Spinach and Cheese Ravioli while my brothers ordered Salmon and Egg on top of bread (forgot what's it was actually called) and Spinach and Feta Quiche. We also tried their Guiltless Chocolate Cake. The ravioli was delicious, and went perfectly with the marinara sauce. The serving size was quite on the small side, given the price. I think it was around 270? The guiltless chocolate cake was good as well, having just the right amount of chocolate taste while not being sweet. Wait time was a bit long though. Looks like this will be one of our fave dining spots in Terminal 3 before a flight! 128522

Dibs! First one to post review here, he he.

Place is not crowded, I noticed that the cash register was unattended for several minutes... Didn't bother calling the barista in the back room since I'm not decided yet on the drink.

Earlier, i reviewed and rant about NAIA 3's airconditioning, so I ordered caramel ice-blended coffee. What? It is not called Frappe? Annnndd... Yes, they made my drink quickly, even delivered it to my table. Nice!

I liked their version of caramel ice blended than the mermaid's caramel frappucino. I can taste the bitterness of coffee and stronger vanilla flavor and I was satisfied even without tasting their caramel.

Don't ask for the price, stores prices more expensive inside the airport. Good thing, I NOW like their caramel frap, no, ice blended coffee! 128518
