Get your 10084️FREE SWEET TEA10084️ today at CBTL until 1PM only with your Swirl Card

With the Art in the Park in Salcedo Park today, and the place super full, it took at 20 minutes for me to get my drink. A small price to pay for a complimentary drink.

My only complaint is that their large is still too too small.

Finals week and I wanted to study on a coffee shop for a peaceful atmosphere. It was near Gino's where we had lunch so we decided to try it there because it seems to be more peaceful than their branch where Im always at.(Jazz Mall.)

Stayed there from 3 to 9 pm to study. I had raisins scones, guiltless chocolate cake, double chocolate and english breakfast. I have no complains with the food, I've always loved them. However, 4 stars because of the staffs. 128532 Quite mataray. Unlike with the staffs at Jazz mall, very accomodating and friendly! Grrr.

I used to have the melon ice blended drink, only to find out that it's a seasonal/summer drink 128563128542 ooppps. So I ordered the Sunrise (orange + vanilla) ice blended drink instead! It's quite good but the combination actually made me more thirsty. 128513 I had to drink water in between sips.. Maybe, too much sugar?

I'm ways going to find some sort of comfort in CBTL. There's a sense of productivity that I get when I work at night here.

Had my usual dessert/snack option:
Coffee
Lemon bars

Chose to go for non-fat cappuccino and a warm lemon bar to set the working mood. It was around php200.

I hate this whole port clog thing though. Would have loved to try something new.

Their guard there should get credit. He's a friendly guy who never fails to greet each and every one of the customers that walk in and out of the door. It would be nice the customers acknowledge him.

I love spinach!! 128525 and decided to get the spinach feta cheese quiche. It did not disappoint 128522 delicious especially if still warm. The only thing I didn't like about it was the onion. 128513 i never liked onions anyway.

Also had pure melon ice blended 128523 yummy!!!!!!!! It reminds me of twin popsies! Perfect dinner 128076

I thought they just serve coffees, teas, and some pastries at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. With this full tuna pasta meal, one is sure to get a shock of the tastebuds, in a very delightful way.

The coffee ain't half bad. And by that I mean it's not sour, the ground beans seem to be relatively fresh, and the brew is deep and hearty. In any case I usually get an Americano to avoid the perils of a drip coffee.

You'll need to come in with your gadgets fully charged, because most of the time the tables that are near outlets are taken. One of the few coffee shops with an outdoor seating area, so that gets extra snaps from me too. On weekends and holidays, you get your usual
mix of yuppies finishing take-home work (like me) business or law students cramming, and families who live near the area enjoying a cookie and the air conditioning.

i was craving chinese chicken salad but tsk, they ran out. so ordered the chilled spicy chicken pasta salad. i amped up the chili flakes but still couldn't enjoy. it was thai style salty - fish oil overload.

good thing i coupled it with the ultimate mocha. the grounds add something. not everyone likes it but even in my drink i enjoy crunch, crunch. katuwa lang. plus points for the purple straw.

they also handed out yogurt samplers. licking it off my teaspoon as we speak. fire trees blossoming in the park across the street. sunshine lends its glimmer to makati.

salt is giving way to sweet. light, joyful steps back to the workplace.

I had their eggs benedict for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised that it was good... low expectation bec normally coffee places usually just serve "so-so" food, had it with English breakfast tea with honey... good start!

This place has become a regular hang out for me and my friend so we've endeavored to try different things everytime we come here....
Today I tried the lemon zest fru-tea and the toblerone cheesecake, the cake was good and it really tasted like toblerone and its not too cheezy that it makes it nakakasuya... the lemon zest is a bit sour for me, i like the passion guava better...
Service in this branch is excellent, very cordial and friendly, they also always have a suggestion of something good to try 128522

Now on Day #5 of my Healthy Lunch series. This time, I tried Coffee Bean’s Chilled Spicy Chicken Pasta Salad. I don’t know if it’s cheating to have pasta mixed into the salad, but hey, who am I to contest its name? I love pasta and I’m still learning to love salad. So I guess a merger of the two will help me “transition.” Haha.

It was gooood. It was a chilled salad, but it had spicy bits (I dunno what it was…maybe chili flakes?), so the combination of hot and cold in my mouth was…different. A good kind of different. It was interesting and delicious and it wasn’t heavy on the stomach (as what pastas usually are). The sauce is very light, I didn’t even notice it much, and I was able to concentrate my taste buds on the chicken, the fusilli and the Romaine lettuce.

We also ordered Double Hot Chocolate, our favorite. So chocolate-y, and with marshmallows too! Kulang nalang ng fireplace (and snow outside), to make the setting perfect…so minus 1 star for that (haha, I kid).

The problem with this CBTL branch is that it’s too small. All the tables were full when we got there; good thing one table was vacated right after we ordered our food, or else we would need to go out to the smoking area, and into the humid air. Ick.
