Tried their African Sunrise tea and Tomato and Herb Linguine pasta for the first time and it never failed me. The tea has that soothing effect that would last for quite sometime. It felt like I'm relieved from stress due to shopping that day hehehe. The staff told me that it was their bestseller and I agree to that 101%. And since I'm into collecting stamps for their journal this holiday, that's collaborated with helping the least fortunate communities because a portion of what I've paid for will go to some charities, I will sure come back for the African Sunrise! I was not only able to help but is enjoying sipping my tea too! It is now my number one fave tea latte from CBTL next to Matcha Green tea. As for the pasta, I've tasted their other choices and what I can say is that of their consistency to never failing to make one where I can always have a delightful bite. I enjoyed my cafe break and that's what truly matters. 128515 #foodgasm #foodporn #ilovefood #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway

My very first time to step into CBTL! Congratulate me? Hahaha

The staff was really polite and nice. But service was meh. I mean, there's no one at the line when I came in and after I ordered my drink. Took them for like 5 mins? 'Cause I bumped into an acquaintance and we pretty much talked about everything that it got awkward because we didn't expect to be talking that long.

And yes, my order came. I ordered for their iced tea (tropical passion) but to my surprise, I got the latte version. Ugh But I didn't complain since I just wanna try something from them. But it's a thumbs down for not getting my order right. I can't remember if she confirmed what my order was. Hahaha my bad also.

For the drink, it tasted like tutti fruity! I swear! But I am the type of person who liked "clean" tasting drinks. What do you expect for a tea to taste like? But tropical passion is a fruit tea soooo. Hahaha

Will be back to try their basic black tea and eggs ben! And for the swirl card!

I'm at home here. I like the cheesecake better that the "coffee shop that must not be named". Lol. Seriously, what I need in a coffee shop is the space. I don't like noisy and fully packed shops. I want to feel the warmth of my coffee slowly taking into me. And that can be achieve if i have my moment with it. Chos!

I usually frequent coffee shops to relax especially living away from my friends and family from Manila as I have been relocated here in Cebu for work. TCB in SM has way too slow wifi connection despite low customer count on a Monday, 4pm. I could just imagine my 3G on iPad is going to be a lot faster on heavy traffic days like weekends. The place is nice and it offers smoking area compared to TCB in IT Park. Overall, not a good experience. Coffee shop businesses need to be sensitive to consumer behavior and most of the time it is no longer just their coffees anymore. Wifi has become a critical determining factor for people to frequent coffee shops.

It may not be the biggest CBTL branch, but it's organized and peaceful.
The staff is really warm and welcoming, like a comfortable old couch. That's how to sum the whole place up, I think, "a comfortable old couch."
I'm not a big fan of coffee but CBTL coffee tastes great! I'm an avid tea-drinker and I love how they have a variety of teas to choose from. Their tea lattes are heavenly, Moroccan Mint and African Sunrise, especially. 128076

My most favorite shop when I want to drink tea. This is Lung Ching Dragonwell, green tea. Nothing beats an authentic real whole leaf tea!
