Googled most romantic places and found 71 Gramercy on most of the list. Too bad they weren't open on Sundays so we celebrated our anniversary a day in advance.
So was it romantic? Let's start with Ambiance. Dim lights 128077🏼, dinner by candlelight128077🏼. Table with a nice view 128078🏼. Requested this when I made reservation but I guess we were not VIP enough compared to the foreign guests that got best seats. Hats off though to our server Ralf for trying his best to transfer us but couldn't....
Food was delicious 128077🏼. We ordered soup (I liked their mushroom soup, while my wife's french onion soup was just ok) and salad (62deg slow cooked egg with prosciutto, grilled asparagus, and greens). My wife ordered linguini seafood putamesca (was just ok) while I ordered maine lobster tails thermidor with brown pillaf rice and grilled asparagus (I like!!) Didn't have much choice actually as most of the seafood menu items were out of stock 128078🏼
Even their white sparkling wine wasn't avaialble in single glass order so we settled for cabenet sauvignon.
So we waited for the complimentary cake with you know "happy anniversary" but didn't get one lol. Note: it's not that we don't have money for dessert but come on, it would have have been nice to have a photo of something with a happy anniversary greeting ha ha
So we ended up ordering thier best seller dessert -the #legit chocolate cake and we were not disappointed128077🏼128077🏼
Now if you don't get to be seated at the tables with a nice view, don't fret as you can go to the bar area and have your picture taken with the Makati Skyline in the background. The view was awesome!!128077🏼128077🏼
Oh and one last thing, don't use the access from Century's parking going to 71 Gramercy. My wife had to climbed the exit parking ramp while wearing heels because the security staff of Gramercy residences and the club's bouncers don't seem to get along with each other or do not coordinate well with each other. Best to go out of Century Mall and enter their main lobby entrance.
So will I recommend it to couples who would like to celebrate their milestones? Hmmmm, I'll let you guys decide based on my review :D

What's better than celebrating your birthday on the rooftop of one of the tallest buildings in the metro? The Dining Room at 71 Gramercy is located on the 71st floor of Gramercy Residences giving their guests a wonderful view of the whole city. The place portrays a very romantic feel -- very ideal spot for proposals!

We were first served with Gruyere Soufflé for appetizer. It was cooked perfectly with a melt-in-your-mouth kind of feel.

For mains, we had "Boneless rack of lamb and confit ribs with roasted pumpkin puree, crushed minted peas and roasted garlic".. need I say more?! And Crab and Shrimp Risotto -- oh my God, seriously the best risotto ever! The creaminess of the risotto complemented the saltiness of the shrimps. And oh, you can tell the crabs and shrimps were fresh and not just some frozen stuff.

We decided to skip dessert that night since our stomachs were both full and our palettes both satisfied with the entirety of our meals.

Definitely will come back to this place. I don't mind spending all the special events in my life here!

First time visit in this place... Well for a fine dining it was dark but I like the simplicity of the interior simple yet quite elegant... Had dinner here last night I love the view 360 degree around the metro...

Ordered roast lamb. And legit chocolate cake was ok too pricy for the taste and serving... But love the complimentary bread it's super soft with butter wasabi with peppercorns... Was good I love the couch!

The photo may not fully show it, but the fine flecks of fat within the muscle of this Australian Sher Label Wagyu was what got me all excited. And this is why I can’t be a hardcore vegetarian!

Great color on the steak, juicy and full of flavor. Chef Carlo absolutely nailed the meat’s doneness. The Dining Room at 71 Gramercy’s steaks are grain-fed and aged before being grilled over wood chips to seal in the juices. 127860

Gruyère Soufflé (Php320.00)
Nothing is as comforting as having a thick and warm soup for dinner. This twice-baked Gruyère soufflé is like having a piece of heaven in a bowl. Seasoned beautifully, cheesy and rich.

The Dining Room at 71 Gramercy opens its doors at 6 in the evening and gives you an amazing view of the city skyline.

The entire room can seat up to 50 guests. You won't feel cramped at all and will still give you that sense of privacy. And if you are familiar with how the lounge of 71 Gramercy looks like, you will be amazed to see how romantic and elegantly designed The Dining Room has been set-up. Beautiful! 128077🏼
