It was a busy second day at Boracay as it was the day of our event for Smart Communications. We had to wake up extra early and work on our different tasks to make sure that the event will be all good.

Given that, we were starving and craving for some good lunch and The Boss was extra generous to treat us again.

As our event will be held at the roof deck of The District, Boracay, found at the station 2 of the island, beside The Red Coconut, we spent most of our time there so we decided to get our lunch from their restaurant, found at the 2nd floor, at Star Lounge.

The menu offered a variety of dishes, from Filipino, International, Spanish, etc. The prices were a bit expensive and that's probably because it's from a 4 star hotel dining area.

Their dining area was really cozy and welcoming, properly ventilated in such a way that will help you escape the island's crazy heat! Their tables and chairs can comfortably sit you and the space can actually accommodate large groups of people.

So for lunch, we ordered their Gambas with a serving of rice and Miso Seared Salmon with different spices.

The orders came altogether and both were good for sharing. The Gambas was part of the appetizers and we decided to add some rice with it. The shrimps were really generously served and well presented. I loved its spiciness and the sumptuous spices in it that I ate, bell peppers and spring onions. It came with thinly sliced toasted bread on the side that were really good too.

The salmon was so big too! I liked how it tasted so fresh, with its very pink color. It was made even yummier by the sliced carrots, cucumber and spices in it. The sauce didn't overpower all the other spices in it.

More than their good food, their staff and crew were all accommodating and welcoming too.

Visit this place and experience what I've had that made me extra satisfied.

Second time to stay here, and I wouldn't definitely hesitate to choose the District next time I go to Boracay.

The room I stayed in is a haven after hours and hours of frolicking in the shore of the island. It offers comfort beyond expectation - or maybe it is just rather too hot nowadays?

Anyway, everything is kept clean which is always a good thing - comfort room, lounges, hallways, pool.

Service is always the differentiator in the hotel industry so I have to say that the District's crew is superb! They are courteous and helpful, always!

Breakfast is rather monotonous but I guess that's already a given in most hotels. What makes up for it is the ambiance and well, as mentioned, the service that the staff extends.

You can pay more for a hotel in station 1 and not get this great level of service.

The rooms are nice enough, not sure how long it will hold up.

Surprisingly convenient location. I thought it might be noisy but that wasn't the case.

The staff will keep you coming back.
They are helpful, courteous and very easy to deal with. To Eve, Charmaine, Edgar and the rest thanks for a great stay.

Sorry for the late post. This was my 3rd trip to boracay about a month ago and I totally slipped my mind to leave some reviews of the places I visited. Anyway this hotel was really nice it was comfortable and modern however yes it is pricey and their swimming pool isn't all that... But he rooms were comfortable and their breakfast buffet was good!

Most importantly the location! This hotel is literally in the middle of everything. It's just walking distance from D Mall and it is also a beachfront hotel on station two which is where a lot of the nightlife and festivities happen
