We did it! We did it!
We were able to unlock two of their rooms, Jewel Heist and Murder at Home. We haven't tried The Spa yet, which they say is the easiest. Hopefully we can come back soon.
Loved the experience - the place is gorg, the staff are very welcoming, helpful and encouraging, and the rooms? Very challenging! Very clever are the people behind this!

And we are back!
Played the Murder at Home game which was the most difficult according to the game masters. No one has solved the crime in the past 2 months but tonight, 1st of December 2015, that changed. Haha! There were even more math problems here but I'd say they were more tolerable than the first game we tried.
Our game master was really encouraging especially when she sees that we have the correct solutions but we just need to see things in a different perspective. This will make sense once you play their games.

Now this is how an entertainment facility should be experienced. We were very warmly welcomed and the game master did the orientation very well. In the photo is their lounge area. Well, just half of it actually.
Basically, at Escape Hunt, you're a detective and you have to solve crimes. They have 3 game types/stories. Each game has 2 rooms which is great if you have 2 teams competing. You are given one hint pass which you can use if you can't figure something out. There are also additional hint passes hidden inside the room. However, using one will add another minute to your final escape time. The only thing I didn't appreciate during the game was the MATH problem. At Escape Hunt, you are given 1 hour to escape and we managed to do so in less than 45 minutes. After the game, we were all given refreshments.
Tip: Make another booking right after your game and get 20% discount on your next one. 🏼

Playing Escape Hunt was a new thing to do with family and friends rather than just going to the mall, watching movie or food tripping.
We bought vouchers via Metrodeal coz it's cheaper. You need to book it 2 days prior the game but in our case we just bought it yesterday morning and luckily was able to play in the afternoon on the same day. There are 3 rooms to choose from: Murder at Home, Trapped at the Spa and Jewel Heist at the Resort. You have an hour to solve the crime.
My friends and I went here, and managed to solve the crime. We were 7 so we got divided into 2 groups: Team Shonga (4 members) and Team Awa (3 members). It's feels like I'm Detective Conan with friends trying to catch the suspect by finding clues and solving the problems. Team work is very essential for this type of game, a little bit of Math Knowledge, concentration and peace of mind. Senses were very important too on finding clues. Phones aren't allowed inside the room and there's a whiteboard inside where you can write down the clues and do mathematical equations. There are 5 hints and we just managed to use 3 hints for entire game. We finished the game at 51:05 while the other group finished at 53:05 and both group got listed for the top 25 players for the month of July. 🏽
After the game, you could take pictures downstairs wearing detective stuff and they'll serve you a glass of iced tea.
