I guess now I know why this place is called "The Fat Cow"...

Such fattening food for one person for one night. And for only P630 (no service charge).

I originally went for the BBQ Ribs, but new place, so why not new food? And the Lechon Kawali Crabfat pasta sparked my interest.

Definitely coming back here for more.

Lechon Kawali Crabfat pasta for P350
Pasta with alige (crabfat) sauce, topped with lechon kawali.

I don't eat alige. (I don't even eat crab.) I know it's bad for me. But I'm really curious as to how this tastes. I kept wondering how the flavors will play out. And really, at the back of my head, "lechon kawali? On a pasta? Alige? As pasta sauce??".

I can honestly say that I'm not disappointed.

BBQ Ribs for P280

The strong tang of the barbecue sauce initially turned me off. It still does, even halfway into the meal. But, it tastes amazing.

Holly cow! Michelle E, a long time friend and I had this great opportunity to finally dine at this fantastic restaurant,The Fat Cow. It is located at V. Mapa Street, Davao City near the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

The Interior of the restaurant looks elegant and sophisticated. The lighting is bright. Seats are very comfortable. It has a mini bar and an open kitchen where you can see the chef and sioux chefs prepare your food.

We ordered the following...

128205Wagyu Top Blade @ 400/100grams
• Served with mashed potatoes but I requested for pineapple rice instead. It has also good amount of fresh greens in vinaigrette

128205US Certified Angus Hanger Steak @ 550
• Served on top of plain rice with chimichurri sauce, and mixed greens in vinaigrette

128205 Angus Beef Maki @ 270
• Tender beef, cream cheese, caramelized onion, and teriyaki sauce

It's a bit pricey considering you're in Davao but everything is worth it up to the last cent. The food were A+++MAZING! You must go to this restaurant whenever you visit Davao City. It will make you love the city even more.

Its's my first time trying out this place but its not necessarily the first time me and my foodie buddy attempted to sample their offerings. Since we are craving for beef we decided to order wagyu steak, U.S. prime beef stake and wagyu maki. The food was so deliciouso that we didn't mine that we were already breaking the bank. The most surprising of it all was there wagyu maki. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy steak dinners here in Davao. Pricey but all worth it. I'm giving all the stars for Fat Cow! 128523128523128523
