I always buy bread just before closing time for baon the following day. I love their 50% off nightly promo. When I was in college i used to frequent a branch on my way home just to have their soup bread bowl. Service is consistent. Always friendly. The display is clean and well maintained. Bread is fresh and tastes good. Although i haven't tried their mains for as long as i can remember there is always their bread that you can rely on when a quick snack is needed. Recommended.

An addition to our list of must-go-back restos 128518128518128518
We tried their porkchop and hamburger steak both comes with a free complimetary soup (clam chowder) and buttered veggies as a side dish..

Serving time was abit off 12852810-15 minutes but it's worth the wait128523 the porkchop is tasty and tender plus the serving is Big.. As well as their burgersteak

It could have been a 5 11088️ if only they have a highchair and if the serving time is shorter

Aside from the pastries, It was my first time to try one of the Entrees from French Baker. I had their Chicken Cordon Bleu. The food presentation looked good and appetizing. The chicken was also served with buttered corn and carrots and mashed potato with gravy. However, when I tasted the chicken, I cannot taste very well the cheese and butter. Maybe the amount of cheese and butter was not that enough for the chicken. The good thing was the serving size was huge and it comes with crab soup with egg.

Overall, the food was okay. I will try some of their other entrees when I go back.

It's rainy and it's a little cold alright, but when we passed by French Baker, we can't help but crave for their Mango Crepe a la Mode!

We just had ourselves stuffed with food but the urge was too strong to resist. We ended up eating in French Baker for another round of dessert 128541

Their Mango Crepe a la Mode has been a favorite of my daughter and me. Crepe was not too thin but was really soft and chewy. The fresh ripe mango cubes inside blended well with the vanilla ice cream it was topped with (btw, you can also opt for mango ice cream). It also had drizzles of mango sauce. Nothing too sweet here. Everything was just right. It was also served with some whipped cream topped with almond slivers and then to make it look gorgeous, they also stuck an almond brittle into the ice cream.

It sure was a great end to our rainy day food trip 128521

A classic college go to whenever my pockets were full. I love their baked goodies and I always wait for the 8pm bread sale when I was still a student.

Aside from their bakery, they also serve hearty meals and delicious desserts! So, when it was time to reward the little girl with ice cream, I thought of getting her something else - crepe ala mode! Since we were in SMB, French Baker was the best choice.

Mango Crepe ala Mode. It was lovely. Just the right thickness and texture of crepe, filled with fresh mango pieces, topped with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream, drizzled with mango sauce, dashed with powdered sugar, whipped cream on the side and finally garnished with almond brittle! Yay! Lovely! Everything went so well together! Each spoonful was heaven - a little crepe here with a chunk of mango and a little bit of ice cream there! Sarap!

We also ordered for their PorkChop Au Poivre. Two pieces of tender pork chops marinated with some herbs then grilled. It was then served with a brown peppercorn sauce, rice and some veggies. The meat was well seasoned and tender, with just the right saltiness from the sauce.

Then I also got their Chicken Pesto Spaghetti. It was a quite disappointing meal. Pasta was over cooked and soggy. Then the pesto sauce tasted watery, though the consistency was thick. It wasn't what I expected it to be - olive oil based. It had some cream in it. Good thing the chicken strips were tender.

Service was pretty good. Attentive servers despite the back to back demands of hungry customers.
