One of my go-to places for lunch in MOA. Food is good and servers are pleasant, smiling, helpful and efficient. Today, I ordered the Beef Nacho Basket. It was colorful and tasty, but I noticed the amount of beef was wanting and it needs more cheese. Fix those two components then it would be brilliant! Please, please fix this! Love this place nevertheless.

For a Sunday evening, expect loads of people at Mall of Asia. But, the good thing is that French Baker has enough space and pretty decent fast service on such a busy evening. Whenever I would crave for a good sandwich, it has always been an option for me to grab one here. I am a big fan of their clubhouse sandwich. Why? Because one layer is filled with two hams, cucumber and tomato. The other layer has chicken, lettuce and cheese. It has side salad with mango dressing, and crispy potato chips. One serving is good for sharing! All ingredients are fresh and I truly love that fact. The lemonade is a good thirst quencher. My sister has their Grilled Hickory and it's soft, tender and juicy. I love the barbeque sauce! Now, the sizzling beef patty is really good! Big 1/3 pound patty with a scoop of mashed potato and triangular rice. It taste good!

Well, next time you feel like grabbing any bread, or sandwich, be sure to make them part of your option. Worth it's price as they're freshly baked and fresh.

Service was very poor. I ordered Spaghetti Bolegnese. The noodles were soggy. I requested a service crew to clean a table which I intended to use. They only came when I initiated to clear the table. Upon serving my food, the lady server literally threw the tape receipt on my table. Will definitely avoid this restaurant and their other branches.

Chicken ala King: 127775127775127775127775127775

They still serve delicious Chicken aka King! 128079

But I'm reviewing now is their TAKE-OUT packaging which is neat and appetizing.

For someone like me who lives in the South of the Metro, I am leaning towards take-out "pasalubong" and there's nothing more upsetting than seeing your food in a filthy carton box or styro!

Good thing with French Baker they neatly packed my food in a nice food container with division and clear lid so it's easy to see if your food turned topsy turvy.

Ordered

Chicken Fricasse A L'Ancienne In Caserole (top left)

Price: P275

This viand is served with rice and vegetable sidings.

I am personally not a fan of the dish' taste. It is creamy. However it has a distinctly different taste into it that I didn't enjoy. My mom on the other hand liked this dish very well. 128516

Chicken Cordon Bleu

Price: P240

The viand also comes with steamed rice and vegetable sidings.

The chicken was cooked alright. The breading is pretty thick though and sometimes tough to cut through. It has the essential ingredients of a Chicken Cordon Bleu like the cheese and herbs but nonetheless, that was about it.

On the other hand, the vegetable sidings was cooked perfectly. This branch also served a complimentary soup (chicken corn soup) while waiting for our orders.

Place was nice except for a few flies goin' around. One even dived into our four seasons which of course was replaced. This dish was called Lasagna verse. An itallian dish with a twist since ingredients were made out of vegetables. It was an ok for me but not really exceptional. What brought it down wasn't only due to the taste but for the waiting time as well. i know you can do better next time :)

Took these babies home with me today! These mini danish pastries comes in a box of eight at P 185. Each danish was filled with custard and topped with: blueberry, cherry, choco chip, and peach. They look so lovely (and shiny, I get hypnotized with shiny stuff!), I wasn't able to hold myself back..I took a bite before taking the pic! It was soft and flaky. The custard was not too sweet :). A little bit oily though, but I guess it was the butter. Each mini danish was good for 3-4 bites...or just one if you're on a binge haha!

The worst place to go to on a Christmas day--- MALL OF ASIA!!

It was a very tiring experience! It drained all the energy in me. Walking here and there. Standing in a queue here and there until we finally felt hungry and decided to eat somewhere happy. A happy place with a happy food. We saw French Baker and the place was not congested so we hurried to find a seat and tadaaaah!

The food was really good that time. I don't know if we were just hungry, tired and disappointed with everything else that's why we were very happy with French Baker already. I mean come on, French Baker is everywhere and it's a common resto. Almost everyone if not all have tried ctheir food so I'm really not the type who would go here but today I didn't have a choice. My pasta was great and juicy while the rice meals of my nieces were good as well. My sister also liked her chicken sandwich and chips.

In short, we had a great time here. We became happy for a time until we went out and looked for a taxi, bus, jeep, colorum and all sorts of transportation. Please be aware, don't ever ever go to MOA on a Christmas season!

French Baker is awesome!

As expected from MOA, we can have a hard time to find for a place to eat because its a weekend and Christmas is coming.

We decided to eat at French Baker, and luckily, we get a seat in just a sec. I love the cordon blue I ordered, it comes with your choice of sauce for the chicken and bread roll or rice. It has vegetable side dish too plus complimentary soup. Of course, the delicious chicken sandwich is good. You can have your potato chips as bbq or sour and cream flavor. There is this spicy sea food marinara that's also delicious.

The service was excellent. Food was served in an instant. Plus my favorite macaroon for dessert. 5 stars for French Baker. 128079128079128515128556

Dined here with my mom. I know it's my nth time reviewing French Baker but you know every experience is unique.

This time it's different in a way that I wasn't so satisfied with our visit :(

My usual order is Beef Lasagna but today I tried Fettucine ala Carbonara to try something new. (The truth is my mom ordered beef lasagna so I opted to order something different)

Carbonara is okay lang. Not so happy with my food because it's commercialized and taste was compromised. They used flour rather than an all-milk ingredient.

Second, during our visit servers were a bit slow and food weren't served in a way that we'd want to go back for more. One staff was really, really disrespectful. Grrrr >.< Excuse me lang po.

Lastly, place was so dirty and mama caught one of their chefs wiping the plate with the apron he is wearing. Double boo for French Baker Bacoor and MOA branch :(

I can't remember the last time I dined in French Baker so I had my early dinner there with my brother earlier. I havd veered away from the usual spaghetti when I eat in a resto so I ordered their Puttanesca and Potato Salad. Their Puttanesca was really delicious, with a lot of olives and tomatoes. The salad was good too, although it was just potatoes and nothing else. I also liked that their using iPads now in taking down your order, plus their service water is served in style, with a slice of lemon and some leaves (not sure what kind, sorry). My brother had Beef Lasagna and Chicken Salad Croissant and by the way he ate, I'm sure it was also very tasty!

I got the Hamburger Steak and it was so worth it. The serving size was just right to fill up a hungry stomach. It was a thick juicy patty that was grilled very well. I also liked the idea that they topped it on a smooth and creamy mashed potato. The rice could be replaced with bread roll as an option. The steamed vegetables were just the perfect side dish.
Best of all, I loved their mushroom gravy. It gave a flavorful savory taste for the burger...plus free refill of the gravy!

Additional points for the complimentary Chicken Noodle Soup that came with the meal.

I liked my visit this time. I was very satisfied stomach-wise and service-wise.
