Upgraded The French baker v.2.0 It's a new bake shop located at the newly building of Mega mall Fashion Hall. Chocolate Truffle Cake is heaven. I like the elegant place feeling like I'am in France.

One of my childhood faves revisited!128522

We decided to have our pre-movie dinner (early dinner) here... It was a blast from the past!128540 we sat on one of the booths and the waitress approached us to take our order... After taking our order, she gave my bf a slip and said, "Pabayaran na po sa cashier..." Syempre, nagtinginan lang kaming dalawa with matching 'huh' expressions... Wala namang naka-paskil na self-service...❓ weird lang, kasi hindi ganun yung alala namin sa place...

Our orders came slowly, but backwards. The chocolate croissant came first, which was pretty good. 128077 then came the soup, then the main course. I know this is weird, kasi nga French Baker, but my favorite is the Beef Lasagna!10084️ Masarap pa din! Very very cheesy, with a great tomato based sauce!128516 I didn't taste my bf's order anymore, since we were rushing to catch the movie, but he seemed to like his order... 128522

I know that with the many restaurants around that we don't think about going to this place anymore, other than for their bread and pastries... But it was a nice place to eat and reminisce!128522

The smell of their breads are so welcoming! Haha it's like they're calling you saying "Come and take me hoooome!" Well, aside from their a la carte breads like: Brownies, French Bread, Custards, Pandesal, Pizza bread, etc. their meals are to crave for also! Like the one on the photo...yummy Lasagna with a garlic bread stick. Their Chicken with herbs is a great tasting treat too! Gotta love their meals and bread and of course, don't forget to order for their lemonade! 9786

This visit involved finally tasting their version of cronut. Let's just say I'm glad that I bought it at half price off! At a regular price of P64 a piece, it's the cheapest I've seen, but it's too expensive for the quality and you're better off trying their other breads.

CRONUTS NUMBER 5: French Baker! 128523

Hahaha! See? I really save my weekend for Cronut Hunting! 128514 Boyfie and I went to KK to taste their Krispy Kroissant, but sadly, sold out. But it's just 12 oclock. (11am-2pm is the time when they sell Cronuts) 128557

So settled with French Baker. Infairness, with the price of 68 pesos (same with Chatime), it's much bigger! Look at that! 128552 They have Chocolate, Vanilla, and Raspberry if I'm not mistaken. 128517

Twas good! Actually, I think this will be my next to Wildflour! (Note: 128129 I only tried Wildflour, Le Coeur, Dunkin Donuts, Chatime) Still have to try Yamato and Dolce Latte. Promise! I'll find time! 128523

But only when It comes on being Flaky! It's not oily too! Yes! 128079 Though..The filling inside was not generous. A little lang talaga. 128532 But still, I appreciate that the flakiness it has! It's not makunat like others! 128517

I had been with my family when we decided to try what The French Baker had to offer for dinner. Service was good; the waitresses were accommodating and had responded quickly to our requests and food orders.

As a family of seven, we appreciated the fact that the servings were generous and reasonably priced. The food itself seemed to be of good quality; I had ordered the Creamy Seafood Pasta because our server had recommended it as one of the bestsellers, and I enjoyed it, although in my opinion the flavor could have been brought out a little more. It was a decent meal that left all of us satisfied with our respective orders.

We decided to have a snack first before buying Magic Sing here. Pastries were freshly baked, probably because they have just opened. Their raisin oatmeal cookie is way better than those served in coffee shops.

My first experience at FB was good but it all turned out the opposite today.

My grandma is a suki here always when we go to the mall. She can't go home without buying breads. Lots of bread. And she loves it. I can't deny that their bread is somehow good.

Today, I decided to have my late lunch here. Went to the counter to place my order and in my surprise no one is accommodating me. Like they were just passing in the counter and see nothing. I'm like wow. Ok. Poker face for 5minutes or so, until a god-sent woman finally came and asked for my order. I'm about to say "No, I don't want to order, I just want to stand here until Monday. 128529" But I didn't say because I'm already starving.

So I ordered their Chicken Cordon Bleu with gravy, 200php. It was good, yeah..on the outside. But in the inner part there were still some red spots. Yikes. So I didn't eat it.

No chance I guess for another visit at this level/branch. Im done here. Lol.

I ordered Chicken cordon bleu here and the chicken was still very raw inside. It's never acceptable to serve raw chicken even in a Japanese restaurant.
