Orange Julius for to-go! P145. It was just okay, I was expecting more because it is one of their bestsellers. Great job for the creativity of the ingredients!

I'm not sure why The Gardens has to be so expensive. My Beef Salpicao which tasted no different from regular Beef Salpicao, was Php720. It wasn't bad but it definitely doesn't taste like Php720. It's not even Imported beef and it had lots of "litid". I'm just glad I had a coupon otherwise I couldn't afford anything here. I suppose you are paying for the space because admittedly this is quite beautiful. Bright, airy, quiet. Perfect for getting work done.

They offer coffee refills for just 10pesos although just for one more round, but hey who else does that! 128076🏻128077🏻 They also serve it with chlorophyll water to cleanse post-caffeine consumption. The very berry smoothie(in photo), I overheard, is the best seller among their smoothies.

Initial reaction of hubby is they seem to not care about the aesthetics no matter how good the dish is because of how it looks. 128518 He is pertaining to the Mushroom Truffle soup where the taste wasn't good. as for the honey roasted pork, it tasted like pork asado while the cereal fried chicken was ok according to hubby. He also ordered his new fave coffee ccortado.

The Gardens is such a beautiful bright and cozy place. They have an extensive menu that has something for all kinds of people.

Their rhum glazed banana pancakes and herb pesto couscous are awesome! this is a very good place to start the day.

Are you looking for a classy/ sophisticated healthy (but not organic) cafe that specializes in brunch. They open 730am so its definitely a must try for early birds like me.

I already scanned their menu (also not the first time here) and found some really good healthy breakfasts! Guess what i ordered? Pancake! 128540

128204 açai berry pancakes
It was not really açai berry.. Can i just call it strawberry pancakes? (For me it's not even really strawberry cause there were no trace of strawberry sa pancake.) two big fluffy pancakes. Buttermilk but it did not really taste like it. It got confectionary sugar all over plus butter and maple syurp (not so concentrated). At the end it was quite cloying already. I suggest to have açai berries tlga so it's not a misnomer. End up so full!

128204128525 açai bowl
Quite a misnomer too but this one is a teo thumbs up! If you here a breakfast bowl, ideas such us oatmeals or quinoa pops up. But this one is a smoothie! Strawberries that is! (i am not sure if açai is incorporated cause i just tasted my friend's order) it's really packed with healthy stuff! Chia seeds! Check its anti cancer proponents! Sesame seeds, dessicated coconut, strawberries and bananas! It's like eating cereals!

128204 picolo latte
Latte art is not good or at least weird. Was that a calla lily flower latte? Lol. It's supr strong and does not quite compare with other coffees. Coffee is not their forte, but you can go here for healthy options like jiuces.

--i think their best tlga are their drinks. A lot of good stuff at more affordable than sprout or juice ekek.

So it's really sophisticated here. Some sophi-oldies can be found here this early, residents too in their pajamas can be seen lol.

Check their CR! Really sossy. Haha. May chandelier pa. I love it. Pay Parking here BUT do validate it any store at the grove then your parking is freeee! 128540128568

Its been ages since we last saw my best friend/ co-tita. We were so excited and opted to try out Pi Breakfast and Pies for Sunday brunch. Unfortunately it was closed for a private event so we opted to move to The Gardens.

You can’t miss this quaint restaurant smack in the middle of The Grove. The ambiance is cool and light, with floor to ceiling windows for natural lighting and quaint wooden interiors. The place is quite small so I would highly recommend you coming in early. Families mostly inhabit this place from 11am to 2pm for a relaxing and filling Sunday morning before the daily grind of Monday. I ordered Sweet Potato Fries and Mushroom Truffle Soup because I was still full from the previous night. As always, I always feel that anything served with truffle oil overpowers the dish. The same could be said with this dish but since I’m a fan of that type of taste, I liked it. It was a hearty breakfast, if not a little fattening and carbohydrate-heavy.

Despite being compressed in a tiny space with tons of conversations shared, I felt that the acoustics were designed well enough that you do not feel drowned out from the noise of nearby occupants. It is also a perfect place to occasionally people watch with a good friend during conversation lulls. #henrysinstaxgiveaway

Ambience is good. Apple pie is very good. Coffee is okay. Food is okay - serving is just enough for 1 person. I ordered honey roasted pork (too sweet for my taste) and my partner ordered chicken and chorizo paella (too salty and rice was like saggy). The staff was great. They have free wifi. I liked that it was not crowded given it's Saturday night.

Here's for the healthy eaters at the grove. The gardens is a resto-cafe that serves brunch and is pushing thru healthy options for the drinks.
Just opened last january 18, the gardens, imo, will hit a high rating if they would add the number of servers. Kahit isa lang. I was just eyeing then for the drinks. They have the beetroot and banana smoothy here. I heard beetroots are good for cancer prevention so why not? But then it took me around 20 minutes to have my drink served. Anyway, no matter how long the wait, the servers still answered my questions politely.

My smoothy is called “pink power” well, because it's pink. Actually, you have the option to choose between dragon fruit or beetroot. Well, beetroot is more unusual than dragonfruit.
Beetroot, like anyother heqlthy veggie does not really taste that good. It's mapakla and leaves a rough sensation in your tongue. So while drinking my smoothy i thought to myself “cge jayson, beetroot yan. Healthy yan.” lol. But then nothing really difficult to learn how to intake beetroot. Thanks to the banana it smoothen the taste after.

The crowd at that time were a little in the sophisticated oldies. You know, the typical mcdonalds 父母 peeps. 128515

They have stamp promos every visit. After the tenth visit, you get free drink.

They sell water here for 75 pesos. Haha. Because it's infused with fruits and healthy stuff. I might want to try this soon.

One of the last restaurants to open by The Grove Retail Row, they took their time to open but by my experience with them - they deserve that center spot on the retail row.

It was a slow night with the wife having dinner with her friends, so the husband is left alone for dinner. Ended up trying The Gardens on their soft opening.

I was only the 2nd diner for the night, the owner herself tidying things behind the counter. I asked the wait staff for the specialty of the house and she tells me the name of the juice and the pasta dish.

The Gardens Brunch Pasta - fairly generic to the ear but it was definitely more than what it suggests. As you can see from the picture, think of it as carbonara but with vegetables spread in between and arugula served on the side. It seems small from the top view but the serving dish was an oversized deep bowl, so it was definitely more than your usual serving. Too add to its sinfulness - it's a 7 min egg - semi soft boiled that you can practically "drink" it from the shell. 127860

The juice they recommended was the Oxygenator. You can see the juice composition on the pic but my take on it is it was actually quite refreshing instead of tasting "too healthy." So I enjoyed it!

I like the place, kinda dimly lit but I guess that's the ambiance they're going for - we'll definitely try the other dishes when we get the chance. The pasta was priced reasonably for me at Php295 but to be honest I was a bit surprised with the juice bottle being Php250, but maybe I'm just not used to paying that much to detox. 128556

I recommend it without hesitation, hopefully the other dishes in the future do follow this experience as it definitely raised my expectations.

5 127775!

P.S. Special mention to Peanut D - look, it's arugula!
