The Giving Café is a social enterprise and coffee shop established by Henry & Sons in 2017. This business benefits the coffee farmers in La Trinidad, Benguet. I love that together with their partners and clients such as 7-Eleven, Figaro and Vikings, they are helping out local farmers.

Went a few weeks ago for a quick snack. I liked their simple Kape't Pandesal and their suuuper looong Cheese Sticks.

I'll have to go back to try other dishes.

My coffee enthusiast friend and I toured parts of Metro Manila coffee shops a couple of months back, and The Giving Cafe in Pioneer was one of our stops.

This enterprising cafe not only serves food and drinks, but also contributes to the growth of our coffee farmers in Benguet. I love how one combines business and social involvement.

The ambiance here is definitely instagram worthy. It also boasts comfortable seats and a well air conditioned area.

The Giving Cafe is more than just a caffeine break, as they have a stretch of dishes, more than enough to cater your lunch and dinner cravings. We, however, were only able to sample their sweets and coffee.

Our table had their version of creamy Banoffee Pie, filled to the brim with soft and light whipped cream, and underneath it were loads of sliced sweet bananas and crushed graham. We paired this with Coffee Flights of the Day, a sampling of three of their single origins. They served us coffee from Guatemala, El Salvador and Ethiopia. Each of these had very distinct taste from spice to natural sweetness.

The Giving Cafe offers up to 15 different beans a day. That is a surmounting amount of inventory to make any coffee lover jump up and down. They have blends also from Sumatra, Tanzania, Costa Rica, Peru and Nicaragua.

We also had a Banana Split before we went home, a bow of ice cream and cuts of even more bananas. I personally went bananas impressed on what this whole company represents. I suggest you check them out too.

The Giving Cafe a coffee shop from the people behind Henry&Sons PH. One of the most popular coffee equipment distributor here in the Philippines. TGC is located in Sheridan just a few blocks from TV5 office. By the name itself TGC is a social enterprise cafe that helps farmers of the La Trinidad Benguet. Wow love how most coffee shop are really becoming a forefront when it comes to helping the community.

The interior of TGC is a beauty. I love the rope design of the ceiling. Giving a reference to the family rope manufacturing business. The inteior will give you a homey feel with its variety of ornaments and books displayed. A great place to spend a quiet afternoon.

For the food and coffee we got an order of Bihon Guisado (195PHP) and Flat white (95PHP). Love the big serving of the bihon and toppings was very generous. Great steal for 195PHP. For the flatwhite at 95PHP wow this is one of the cheaper flat white I have lately. The coffee bean they used was on the bitter strong side which will keep you awake the whole day. Love it!

They also have Auro chocolates here. If you love Malagos chocolate this is another brand from davao that I really like!128522

Overall great friendly barista, great interior, great food, great coffee and of course great social business. The most important part power outlet are available. 128522

The Giving Café also known as TGC: A Social Enterprise is a newly-opened café along Sheridan Street, Mandaluyong.

This quaint and homey café was opened by the owner of Henry & Sons PH (a well-known coffee equipment manufacturer) to support local coffee growers in La Trinidad, Benguet. For every coffee sold, 1% of the proceeds will go to FSCE — Foundation for Sustainable Coffee Excellence. A non-government organization with the aim of bringing the Philippines back in the spotlight globally through sustainable farming.

From the outside, it wouldn't look like a café at first with its brick walls, quotations and artsy stuff. But once you're inside, it's a charming café with ample seating, a reading nook and a coffee bar where you can see your coffee being prepared in front of you.

We visited TGC one lazy Sunday afternoon. The place is well-lit with a homey vibe, perfect for coffee dates or just a peaceful hangout place by yourself. Being a bookworm, I really loved their reading nook! During the afternoon, natural light comes through the see-through window which makes for a perfect reading session. And during the evening, it's a nice spot to just sit, think and relax while enjoying a warm cup of coffee. They have a great collection of books, from Paulo Coelho's classics to Lang Leav's poetry. My bookworm self is rejoicing!

We ordered a cup of Hot Mocha (P95), Wintermelon Milk Tea (P105) and Flat White (P95). As we were already full from lunch, we just opted to ordered several finger food to go with the drinks — Rosemary Bacon Popcorn (P130) and Crunchy Nachos (P185).

The coffee, as expected were amazing. I had the Hot Mocha and loved the chocolate notes and the bitter aftertaste of the espresso. Price point is good, too! Considering coffee is just around P95-P150. You'd get great coffee and at the same time supporting a cause. ♥️

The Rosemary Bacon Popcorn was HUGE. Believe me, when I say it's huge, it's huge! Bet it's good for 4-5 people. Really loved this one, it's like your regular popcorn but fancier. The rosemary butter wasn't too strong just enough to create a nice flavorful kick. Also enjoyed the generous amount of bacon bits in it. Order this if you're planning to stay long and do some work or just read.

We stayed at The Giving Café for the rest of the afternoon until early evening. Ecstatic that we found this new gem, perfect for coffee enthusiasts like us! And remember, every cup of joe you enjoy is a huge help to our local coffee farmers. ♥️

We were caught between the earthquake & the strong rain.
So we decided to wait at TGC.
We had the Americano , Capucinno & Latte
First off their coffee is very good ! P95 a cup
and you can pair it with 2 pcs pandesal & 2 fillers, a choice between strawberry jam, coco jam, softboiled egg & peanut butter. We tried the 3 except the softboiled egg. All were good! and priced right at P25 for 2 pandesal with your choice of spreads or dips.

the place is well lighted and nicely decorated . even the CR is top quality .
only 3-4 parking slots but we were able to park.
friendly staff.
