It doesn't matter how good your food and/or service is, if your restaurant stinks (literally), no one can give it 5 stars.

Speaking of no one, no one was eating at Gustavian when we went. We wanted to try Casa Verde so bad especially since it's so popular on looloo but we were 16th on their waiting list. 128561 So we decided we'd look for another restaurant.

The server at Gustavian met us outside of the restaurant to greet us and show the menu. We told her we'll eat there.

The moment she opened that door... 128563128534128169 Holy cow. What is that smell???

We looked at each other with nanlalaking mata to signal danger. Should we leave NOW?

Too late. The server already pulled our chairs back to let us sit. Great.

The good thing though is that 10 minutes later, we eventually got used to the smell lol.

I ordered their carbonara and it was surprisingly very good! Their complimentary bread was also delicious!

I would have given this place 4 stars but I'm sorry, the place smelled.

Maybe it was the AC?
