Travel time from Makati was about 4hrs with traffic and stop-over. They have their own private parking area where the boat waited for us, the boat ride took us about 10 minutes going to Lake House.
I was totally amazed when I saw this beautiful house in the middle of the Caliraya Lake. Upon arrival, the 2 doggos named “Scooby and Beedoo” welcomed us. They’re bigger than me TBH and they could eat me alive haha! But I was surprised when they’re soooo malambing! I wanna bring them home after.
They served us some welcome drinks and snacks. The caretaker and staff were very accommodating. We checked the whole place and I really loved every bit! The wood interior design, the view, the rooms, the concept, the pool! ️️
Their villa has 6 bedrooms (12 beds) and includes 2 indoor bathrooms with 1 additional bathroom accessible from the swimming pool area. They also provide potable drinking water beside the room since you need to go down 72 steps if you want to go back to the kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need for cooking and has an outdoor area with a large gas grill and pizza oven. They also have both indoor and outdoor dining areas, cutlery and glasses for large or even small groups.
The other room has a large table and TV, sound system, which is best for Netflix , or if you just want to chill. They also have a mini bar where you bring some drinks.
This private resort is unique because with its beauty, they use solar power energy. While there is plenty of power during the day, it is limited at night where the place runs on batteries instead so you really need to conserve electricity.
Breakfast is included so we just bought our own food for other meals, the staff can assist in cooking and preparing meals.
This is actually a perfect nature getaway if you want to relax and spend time with friends and family. We're suppose to have bonfire but unfortunately, it rained so we didn’t get the chance to do it. Sayang!
I would totally give this a perfect rating because I loved everything about it but you MUST anticipate a lot of insects at night since the place is surrounded by trees and green lushes, their bedrooms are not air-conditioned, they only have one fan per room and mosquito net for each bed so please bring insect repellent lotions! Don’t let the bugs bite guys!
PS. Everything is instagrammable 🏼
