128522 great place for some R&R, still within the city and near malls

128522 the room is spacious, i like that it has a mini kitchen and dining area

128522 the pools size is good enough

128522 there are many choices for breakfast buffet

128542 looks like the lobby is still under renovation, hopefully they will do something great with it because it is too bare

I got the room for a promo rate and was expecting it to be somewhat basic but was impressed that the room was spacious, classy and beyond my expectation. The room comes with breakfast buffet for 2 and free use of their amenities.

I'm guessing this place is a little old, but I love how they manage to keep the place up to date.

Service is very good. Hotel staffs and even security guards are polite, always greets you hi, hello and good morning. The facilities such as pool and gym were nicely maintained.

I love how near I am to Podium, SM Megamall and Robinsons Galleria. Everything is walking distance, you can easily go anywhere which is also a bad thing cause 128184 ... you know the rest.

Booked this room for only P677! Wanna know how? Follow me on instagram @justinjocom. Hahahaha.

Anyway. Booked a staycation at the Malayan last Sunday. The lobby was basic. It was under renovation. So they just had a couple of tables and chairs and sofas.

The Malayan seems to be kinda old. Some of the things inside the room might be older than me. Like the blower inside the bathroom. Haha. Rooms were very clean though.

Couldnt give it a higher rating cause:
1. There werent any slippers in the room
2. It took me three follow ups just to ask for a plate.
3. The breakfast buffet was so-so.

But I can't really complain. Got it for cheap eh. Haha.

We were blown away by the spacious room. We booked the 1bedroom suite for our family of 4. We bought online thru their website and got d room for p3488. Impressed by their facilities, 2 split type ac and 2 led tv, each for living room n bedroom. 2 door no frost ref and a kitchen!

Photo was taken at d play area. Children enjoyed d foid too but it was cold ! Since its dec and we were at d 33rd fl.

Only comment is d selection of bfast. We didnt like d bacon, was tough. Lived d mac soup and brewed coffee. Space is limited too. But beside thst everything was value for money

We've stayed here a couple of times.
I really like the spacious rooms even for a studio type. The bed is comfortable, the dining/kitchen area has sufficient space and amenities to cook/prepare food.
I also like the swimming pool, and of course, the playground is my toddler's favorite.
The only thing I got turned off about was the breakfast. There's not much choice at all, and it was more like a fixed breakfast meal, which is the same dish every morning. So the assortment was a failure. Overall, it still earned a high rating from me, because the service is good, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Most of all, the location is perfect, very convenient, and accessible to banks, malls, etc.

Affordable and Comfortable are 2 words that best describe this place.

I knew this place was a serviced apartment or condotel, so I had expectations of it being complete in all its amenities. A lot of the kitchen tools were only available upon request, but this did not hamper my liking this condotel because our stay was really a comfortable and memorable one... Actually, "awesome" is another description for this place, because we stayed in a 1-bedroom unit which was a FREE upgrade from my online booking of a studio room. The studio types were all occupied so we got upgraded to a bigger room for the price of a smaller one. How great is that! Sheer luck maybe?

I so loved the spacious unit which had ample space for kitchen, dining and living room. Even the bathroom was huge. Best of all, the bedroom had a comfortable bed, own TV, veranda and a walk-in closet! I could only say Wow!

The aircon isn't centralized, which means it's good because we got control over the temperature. We didn't feel so warm, that we kept the aircon units off most of the time, and therefore we were glad to save on electricity.

The staff were very nice and friendly, especially the housekeeping lady and the banquet staff.

Another reason about our love for this condotel is the huge playroom for kids. Even 20-30 kids could be accommodated without feeling so crowded, and the toys were very child-friendly.

I also liked the spacious lounge where you can feel relaxed alone or chatting with friends. The swimming pool was also a plus factor. The kiddie pool was just the right size for younger kids.

This place is so family and child-friendly, and it's really just the best value for your money, considering that it's in a prime location, near malls and offices.

I wished I had the chance to invest on a property or unit in this condotel; it really is an ideal home for a small family or a couple.

Nothing beats the affordable price as well, vis-a-vis the competitor condotels a few meters away.

I'm sure I'll be back to this place in the future, no questions asked.

Last night, a few friends and I stayed over at The Malayan Plaza. I booked the Studio Deluxe room a few weeks in advance and all i had to do on Saturday was to check us in. But the night before, i received a text message telling me that we will be hosting a small gathering in the room for 10-15 people for merienda. A reunion of sorts with friends from high school.

Fitting 15 in a studio room! That seemed impossible. I was resigned to have a standing room only gathering until I opened the doors to the room. It was surprisingly spacious! The room boasts of a kitchenette, dinning table, bathroom, twin beds and even a walk in closet. We could have easily fitted 20 people comfortably.

The condotel doesn't have a large lobby or a five star restaurant but the service is top notch and the rooms are comfortable and worth the price especially since its location is ideal. Situated next to malls and restaurants.

My only complaint was with the morning breakfast buffet. They mixed up our egg order and the food on the chaffing dishes were no longer hot. But other than that my friends and I were very satisfied with our stay and have only fond memories of our stay at the Malayan Plaza.
