Adam's, Carmen's and Sebastian's--they're all in one chiller at a little known deli/cafe/grocery called "The Market".

Pleasantly surprised to have seen this gem of a place! They also have an assortment of fine cheeses, cured meats, wines, fresh produce and frozen ready to eat foods.

Will definitely go back for more artisan ice cream selections soon!!! :)

Despite the presence of its larger, more popular neighbors, this place still provides simple food that is so good it's actually a relaxing place to be. If you get a seat that is. It's still popular that finding one during lunch time is such a challenge but I was willing to stand around for some time just to get one. It's that worth it. I had my fave farmers ham with cheese. They throw in some apples, veggies and light dressing and it is wonderful.

And they serve Carmen's Best ice cream. Beat that!

Since my office is in Salcedo Village, I often take walks during my lunch break. More often than not, that walk usually leads me to Leviste St. where I end up having coffee at my favorite, Toby's Estate. One day while walking, I discovered this deli called The Market just across the building of Toby's. I decided to look around and I saw what it had to offer. Like most delis, they sold sandwiches, meats and cheeses, and other food products (including Carmen's Best and Sebastian's Ice Cream!). I told myself that I was definitely going back.

Last week, I went there twice! Because I loved t that much. I tried the Cuban Sandwich, which is one of their best sellers. It has 3 deli meats on ciabatta bread with mozzarella and mustard. Really, it's the best sandwich I've had in a long time. On my second visit, I tried their apple shake which was quite refreshing and their chips and dip. Basically, the chips are crisp tortilla bread and the dip is hummus. Really, really good hummus.

This place is really a hidden gem (sort of) in Salcedo Village. The best part too is that I can take out my sandwich and eat it in Toby's while enjoying their coffee. So much win right there. 128513

Price point is around 195-225/person for their sandwiches. The sandwich I had was really filling, I was full till dinner! So that's really worth it in my book. 128521

It's a quaint deli where you can shop for cheese, meat & even ice cream. Tried their bestseller Cuban sandwich which i requested with some veggies. It was good! Also had their Deli Platter. My personal favorite was the spicy sausage (forgot the name but it's at the top right of the photo). Lemonade from the fridge was refreshing & capped it all off with Red Velvet Chilly Burger which had yummy chewy cookies! I want to try their pizza next and probably shop for cheese and sausage for me to take home too.

We ordered Raclette, Roast Beef Wrap, Four Cheese Pizza then I chose Stellina's Pink Lemonade for my drink. They were all affordable and very delicious! The price range is 100- 300. You could also buy a lot of imported food from this place.

Thumbs up 128077

Since I had time before the meeting and was in need of a major sugar fix - I decided to try this out since my friend said they had Sebastians.

That was my main reason for coming here but wanted to have dinner, too. My friend ordered the Kani Sandwich & I had the Hungarian Sausage Special (as shown above).

It was good but bitin for me, wouldve been perfect with rice heehee! 128513 Price wasnt bad at Php195.

Id like to try their Steak and Cheese Sandwich nextime.

Will write a separate review for the dessert 128523127846

my go to place for feel good, look good cuisine. all fresh and light, the market serves guilt free snacks (chips and hummus dip), great sandwiches (my favorite is the grilled vegetable sandwich), and perfect bite salads (earlier ordered their kani salad. the wasabi mayo dressing sang moshi melodies on my taste buds. subtle, beautiful just what you can expect from things japanese).

dieters, queue up here. its delicious. deprivation will be deleted from your vocabulary.

The Market is a small deli in Salcedo Village Makati where you can buy the freshest produce and meat, organic ingredients and other food items such as cheese, wine and salad dressing.

They also serve salad, soup, sandwiches and personal pizzas, with ingredients from their store! 128522

Went here for a quick Friday lunch out last week, and we were lucky we got a table, because the last few times we wanted to eat here, it was always full. 128542

I appreciated their menu because they put little heart 10084 symbols beside the "healthy choices." I asked the waitress how they considered a dish healthy, and she said "walang halo," meaning, no preservatives, MSG or flavoring, just the ingredients as stated in their menu.

I ordered the kesong puti and tomato pizza (healthy choice), Ton ordered the tuna on wheat bread, and we both ordered a bottle of Lipa Buko juice each. Yum. So refreshing.

The food is freshly made and it tastes good. 128077 They have a lot of cold cuts and sandwich meat to choose from, too, so you're not limited to the menu. I would love to go back to try their smoked pork loin or salami sandwich. I also wonder if they have prosciutto...128523

And guess what? Sebastian's ice cream is also available here! 128077 Too bad I wasn't able to try it then, but I will definitely go back and have my fill of dessert! Malapit na matapos ang Lent! Hehe.
