The pasta were too salty. We ordered the mix and match deal — pesto and alfredo were our choices. Both were very salty.

Chicken barbeque lacked taste.

Fish parmigiana was also bad. Tasted like pizza though.

They failed to serve the food properly too. I ordered the chicken bbq with alfredo, my girlfriend ordered the fish with pesto. They switched the pastas 128530

Maybe we should’ve ordered a full priced meal instead of their promo meals. But they should’ve served same quality of food be it a promo or not.

Tryin out the unli pasta and unli pizza.

Pasta is so-so. I mean, it's thick and when you chew it, it's like kanin na malata. I dunno 128553 I believe it's not well done. BUT! Their Aglio Olio sauce is super masarap (for me) 128523

Pizza is thin crust, comes in two flavors tho I dunno what its called 128514 (please see attached photo 128514)

For our spontaneous late lunch, we picked The Old Spaghetti House. When we arrived at the place, they gave us the menu right away. But no service water, we needed to request for service water. Since they are famous for their pasta, I ordered their classic lasagna and an extra garlic bread. For my tita, she ordered pan grilled glazed chicken, a rice meal. Also, 2 glass of iced tea. Choices in their menu are just little. I was looking for something else which I really don't know. Gets? Haha. Kiddin' Our orders went well. Pasta was fine but the garlic bread was dry and crunchy-getting-hard feeling when I had my first bite. Chicken was good too. It was with java rice. Interiors are really based on an old house full of decorations. Maybe TOSH is not that famous anymore because there were few people at that time (2ish) and maybe other people think it is pricey but it's not. We paid less than 500php including service charge. Not bad. Our waitress was a not that attentive. She wasn't listening to our orders attentively. But all in all, 128077

With its cozy and homey ambiance and interiors, The Old Spaghetti House is one nice restaurant to visit when you simply want to catch-up and hang-out with your family, colleagues, friends, etc.

Its combination of wooden and brass items with its simple yet appealing decors bring the casual yet comforting feel for its guests.

With this visit with my best friend, I ordered their Fresh Green Mango Shake paired with their Colossal Chocolate Chip Cookie Ala Mode (in photo).

The shake tasted really fresh, as if the mangoes were picked from the backyard. The combination of the sourness and sweetness altogether made it really appealing to me. I also enjoyed chewing on the bits of mango skin that were garnished on it.

It's my first time to try their Cookie Ala Mode. As it's served in a sizzling plate, I was too excited to devour the tempting sweetness right in front of me. The hotness and crunchiness of the cookie was perfect with the coldness and creaminess of the vanilla ice cream. With every bite, the explosion of the taste inside my mouth was so so so good that I was able to finish this dessert with my BFF in a matter of minutes.

Definitely one of the most nicest ala mode experiences that I'll come back for. 128077🏼

Classic Lasagna - P165.00

Tomatoey and sweet.
It tastes good but not that great.
It's quite dry on the texture.

Oh well, it's not that pricey though.

Tsk tsk tsk.

Was waiting for my movie to start. So I decided to go to an establishment to eat something so I could get free wifi.

Found TOSH. Was very confident, subok na ang TOSH e.

Unfortunately service was so disappointing! The server looked like he didn't want to wait on me and hated his job. His name is Raul.

The food was, of couse, okay.

But the service was just ghastly!

Old Spaghetti House is an all time favorite of hubby and I even before we started exploring restaurants and different cuisine. Our favorite branch is the one near Eastwood that has this privy an romantic aura.

We were in Cubao, trying to catch up and finish up on some errands. We got so tired and hungry wanting to do nothing else but eat. I immediately spotted Old Spaghetti House and suggested that we drive to our favorite branch. Hubby was really starving and convinced me to settle there.

Same furnishing and warm lighting as the other TOSH branches but this Ali Mall branch is not so privy as that in Libis. The staff were also very busy doing paper works, discussing about their sales so far for the day causing some unpleasant argumentative atmosphere inside the resto. It was quite disappointing since we wanted some peace that moment to soothe away our stress. Anyway, we scanned the menu and decided to try something other than out usuals - pesto with grilled chicken, cheese pizza & pasta negra.

Sun Dried Tomato Pesto with Grilled Chicken - Pesto with Grilled Chicken is a no miss staple or us so this variety thrilled me. The tomato kick was too strong, totally eliminating the flavor of pesto. I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting more of a balance between the two.

Asian Chicken Salad - I was feeling a little healthy that day so I went for this. Tender chicken pieces on a bed of crisp greens with some pesto cream paste and vinaigrette. It also had cubes of fresh ripe mangoes, which I liked, that added a more Asian feel to the salad.

Scanning the menu for a refreshing drink, I saw that they were serving Matcha smoothie! Oh my! I can never thank all the Japanese geniuses enough for inventing Match Green Tea! Anyway, the smoothie had too much milk but the Matcha Green Tea flavor was evident. I liked it! 128540128541128539
