My friend's relative was in town so she invited me to her cousins get together. We got a cabana which has a Php20,000 consumable. It was surprising how expensive things are now-a-days. We ordered food from nachos to sushi and drinks from Singleton to Petron XO (this one killed me - K.O.) 128514 I slept like a baby the next day.

I was invited to attend the 2nd Anniversary of The Palace Pool Club. The event was sponsored by Grab, Globe and Heineken Beer.

Yaasss! Open Bar! Unlimited Beer!

The 2 year old Pool Club never missed to surprised and entertain me everytime I went to unwind and party in one of the biggest club in the country. One of the beautiful party place too. Now I know why Pool Club rank No. 53 in the world in DJ MAG. Many famous International DJs also performed at The Palace Pool Club like the performance of Yellow Claw last weekend. 70% of Millennials Crowd dance all the way with the trap genre of the DJ. 20% of the foreigners were dancing too. And the remaining 10% like us who just listen and watch the crowd.

By the way, it's one of the best club in the Philippines.

You've been to one club, you've pretty much been to them all. But the vibe here is a lot more chill than Valkyrie next door. Well, i'd say its more chill next to the pool area, and thats a good thing coz theres no way i'd want to be pushed in. 128517 As you move closer to the DJ booth the scene gets more lively, but thats expected. It can get a little hot and humid though given the outdoor setting but nothing too much to handle.

The food was actually quite good! The tuna and salmon sashimi came in thick slices and tasted really fresh. The calamares was also noteworthy.

My only complaint would be the lack (or lack of visibility) of the servers. It was really tough to get a hold of one when we needed an extra glass, water, more ice, or what not. And when they do attend to you, sometimes you get that feeling that you've just been left hanging after they leave your table and never come back. When you invite a girl to your table and she's kept waiting on small things like this, it becomes seriously uncool. #JustSayin 128517

This is the place to be! On a Monday night--- not! Lol.

Kidding aside, it's a little serene and ghostly during our short visit here thankfully there's this lively music to keep us tugs tugz in our office attires. Though we did not get to swim in the philippine's first day club with swimming pool, let me give you some insights on what to find here.

Thanks to EJ B he called up the pool club to have us in the guest list. It's free entry on sundays to fridays but if you want to swim, pay PhP500 inclusive of one drink, locker and towel. It's PhP800 entrance fee on Saturdays though inclusive of 2 drinks, swim band and towel. Get ready to be inspected and frisked upon entry.

There are couches near the bar and air conditioned cabanas for reservation.
There are two main bars in the pool club wherein the bar nearest the exit only opens on a weekend. Weekday happy hours on 5-11pm while 3-9pm on sundays. Be sure to wear proper attire if you're swimming but definitely any attire will do if you're not swimming.

There's the valkyrie nightclub, the brewery, cafe naya (where you could have something heavy to eat) and revel room.

It's always summer here in the pool club (yes even on rainy Monday nights)

*tugs tugs tugs* Wait, is it spelled "tugz"? Uhmmmm... Anyway...

I have been part of Titas of Manila even before it became a term. I was even an honorary member when I reached 3 years old thanks to my early exposure to caffeine. My friends could not picture me partying or even drinking alcohol. Not sure if it has something to do with my rather innocent sounding name or if it is because I give this strict mom vibe. Well, I could party. I just need an afternoon nap and power nap at 8 p.m. just to be sure. 128521

One of my officemates was about to be a Mrs. and we figured it would be nice to change things a bit. So we opted to visit The Palace. Woohoo.

"Di pa ba tayo aalis? 11 p.m. na. Antok na ako."

Care to guess who said that? 128514

We left my place around 12 midnight and when we got to the "happening" place, it was just half full. Apparently people come in around 1:30 to 2 a.m. (I must have traveled a bit in dreamland by that time!)

I didn't feel like spending for alcohol so I just danced using my favorite move... The Rock. (The music was quite good when we went. There was even a man on stilts with laser lights on stage.) While having fun, we bumped into A's friends who gave us some shots. We also got some from other guests thanks to our bride to be's sash. Weee! 10084

But I realized that I'm too old to party. I'd rather have tea at 2 a.m. while watching Vikings or Narcos.

The place was okay. It was really nice, actually. I just really didn't like the food they served when we had our office Christmas Party. And the bar was always out of the drinks we wanted.

It's my friend's birthday and she celebrated it here. I haven't been to any clubs in months - even years and last night i made an exception. 128514 it's also my first time in this area and my oh my clubs have changed immensely.

We arrived probably around 8pm but her birthday party started at 3pm. Kamusta ang late arrival. Nice music and the whole set up 128076🏼

Was there for an event, and so was lucky to have a couch reserved for us. :)

The staff was super attentive.
The ventilation was also great.
Drinks of course, tasted great too! 127863

We've had two of our company parties here already and I had to wait for the second one before deciding to give the place 2 stars.

Potentially, this can be a good party venue. It was a clever idea situating a pool in the middle of some private rooms and party tables. It definitely adds up to that party animal vibe that the place has to contain every single night. That could have been 4 stars!

But, I'm taking away 2 stars due to their (1) poor service and (2) head-wagging food. During our first party we've spent almost half of the night on their keg station. For what reason? I am not really sure but based on how the crew responded to the situation,I still thought it wasn't acceptable. Food is another let down. For both our parties, food were dry and looked so foreign for the prestige attached to the name of the place. Sorry for sounding harsh but I'm just being real with my experience.

Still, this is my review on how the place host a company party. As a bar to host your daily/weekly night out, you tell128517 Not my thing128539

The place is great. We had our company Christmas party here. It's not your average club (what ever you call it), it's open-air and the place is big. You can have your own spot anywhere. Had a great night

Decided not to be a lola one Saturday night.
Busted out the heels and LBD. Hahaha
A friend from LA bought a table and all i can say is, thank God because I don't know how to survive 3 hours of heels just standing up and dancing. Lol 128514

DJ was good. We also got the fries along with bottles of Jack.

I enjoyed the crowd, ambiance and the fries. 128514

Get buzzed - Soak - Repeat!

Great concept for a club. Not cheap but worth the experience. The only downside is, it can get really hot, esp after all the shots and sight-seeing. 128541

It was so hot and humid the night we went here; it's as if the place forces you to swim, lol. Other than the inevitable oiliness of our faces, Pool Club really exudes that relaxing summer vibe in the city. The staff were really attentive that your glass won't ever be left empty. In other words, malalasing ka. Haha just kidding. I'd love to go back on a Saturday night, perhaps~
