Latepost!!!
Surprised to find out that I haven't done this review yet till now. This was last year before the year ends. I was with the whole family for dinner...literally everyone like we were 17 all in all. Actually the place is quite very near to my sister's house, walking distance to be exact.

This place is very inviting, from the outside everything is white. Literally a house turned restaurant.

I wasn't able to take all the food pictures because the orders came one at a time. Yung iba gutom na, and nagkagulo pa sa orders that two orders was missed and didn't arrive on the table...
I commend that they used big long plates and the serving size is big! And the price ranges from Php200 above. Patok sa family yung Chocolate shake that is served in a very tall plastic glass! 128525 We all asked to take a pic with it! 128514

I included the planner on the pictures to show how nice their planner is. I posted my photo on Fb that time and a cousin told me that We should've gotten a planner for free! I returned to the resto after two days to get it, it took me quite a few phone calls to convince them that we deserve a planner coz our bill was about P4k and they didn't mention to us about it. Tsktsk...
Anyway I'm looking forward to the next Holidays for next year's planner. 9996🏽️128522

Hype talaga.
Manong guard welcomed us by saying, "Sir, pang-eleventh table pa kayo. Ok lang ba maghintay? Kasi daldalan ng daldalan yung ibang customers kahit tapos na kumain kaya matagal pa yan." Haha 128514
Soooo... We decided to take out our order which is the Big Bang. Took only 10 minutes and we went straight to Z-Compound.
Anyway.. We liked the bread most... Malinamnam. The patty is just your usual patty – but 9" in size. Sulit na for 400+ pesos. 128522128523
Maybe we'll try their ribs soon and their other best sellers. 9996🏻️

Servings are ample. I got the fish and chip platter. Wife got the seafood carbonara. Why do you serve melted butter with your roll?

My sister was craving for this so much, that she dragged my whole family to eat here. Take note that she's never tried the Mighty Ton yet, she just saw it on the internet hahaha!

This has got to be the most expensive and biggest burger I've tried, but the price is justifiable because it can feed 4-6 people. It says on the menu that the patty they put weighs about a kilo! :o

We had to wait for a while for our order to come, but it was not too long a wait for something as big as this. My sister was so excited when it arrived, we even took a family picture with the burger (won't post it on looloo, nakakahiya haha!).

The Mighty Ton was divided into eight portions, and it really was humongous as we imagined it would be. But when we opened the burger, I was quite disappointed that the cheese, mushrooms and the other fillings were not spread out evenly. Nevertheless, it was quite alright. It's not the best burger that I've ever tasted, but it tasted... normal or slightly above average. I could only finish one slice of the burger, but my dad and sister both got two slices. The liked it well enough, I guess. :)

The fries that came along with it were okay. We got the sour cream flavor, and it tasted a bit like Potato Corner's but it was a little bit sweeter.

I don't regret that we tried the Mighty Ton. It's a fun thing to order, specially with your family or barkada. Just imagine the photo opportunities with it! But it's not something that I would crave for again. :)

For our dessert, we had the Death by Chocolate. It was yummy, as well, but the best way to describe it is that it is your ordinary yummy chocolate ice cream with nuts and chocolate syrup, shaped into a cake. Not sure if the 188 price tag was worth it. Will try the Lauren's Lava next time, I think that would've been a better choice for us.

I like this place better than other Casa Verde restaurants, because it's less crowded and has a homier feel to it. They have the same menu anyway, so you don't get to compromise. The waiters were friendly, but some were a bit distracted. It was sometimes hard to get their attention. Also, unlike the other Casa Verde restaurants, this has a "pay as you order" policy. :)

We were just coming home from Bulacan (we spent the Holy Week there) and we were so hungry we decided to stop over for food. We originally wanted to go to Fat Cousins in Maginhawa, but almost all of their dishes are unavailable. We then saw this and we decided to eat here since the place looks quiet.

1. The service
- 10084️10084️10084️10084️
- They were nice, but they crowded in one specific area of the restaurant. They were too busy chatting with each other to realize that my brother needed help in opening the door. But they were friendly and they politely answered our questions about the food so.. 4 stars!

2. The food
- The moment I saw the menu, I was filled with joy. To be completely honest, I didn't exactly like Filipino cuisine so I was sad during Holy Week since my family served Sinigang, Buto-Buto, and all that Filipino stuff (but I like sisig and adobo and bistek, yay!). The food they serve are what I usually classify as my comfort food.

*Cheese Sticks (I forgot their menu term for it)
- 10084️10084️10084️
- they were good, but there was nothing special about them. (Or is it just because I do not get the hype about mozzarella sticks??)

*Buffalo Wings
- 10084️10084️10084️10084️10084️
- my dad said they were super spicy. He consumed 3 glasses of water just by eating a single piece. They were very good raw.

*Bacon and Cheese skins
- 10084️
- Sorry! I really thought that the potatoes were too hard for my liking and too bland. Also, there were only a few pieces of bacon and cheese ;((( I was expecting for more but.. oh well.

*Chicken-Fried Chicken
- A big, boneless piece of chicken with creamy sauce on top. My parents thought it was bland, but I liked it very much.
- 10084️10084️10084️10084️10084️

*Roasted Chicken
- It was as dry as the Sahara desert.
- 10084️

*Milkshakes
- I ordered the chocolate one while my brother ordered the vanilla one. Both were very good.
- 10084️10084️10084️10084️10084️

*Death by Chocolate
- My dad expected it to be an actual cake, so he was a but disappointed when the waiter put down some ice cream cake on our table. It tasted like Rocky Road. Nothing really special.
- 10084️10084️10084️

My parents ordered pastas, the Victoria spaghetti and the other one which isn't the Seafood Carbonara. They both said that their pastas had a lot of sauce.

3. Ambience
- The place is great. I'd give it a 10084️10084️10084️10084️10084️

Final verdict:
I'd go back here even though my parents were basically 128078🏻 128514

We tried this place around Sikatuna Village. A new offering by Casa Verde. They had this group meal for five which consists of a platter of rice and bucket of ribs. The ribs offering is amazing!!! It has a lot of big cut ribs inside. However, not all the ribs have equal flavors. Some are flavorful, some does not have flavors at all without the sauce. It also comes with a serving of butter and corn. We also tried their appetizer platter and it was good. I like the mozzarella sticks. 128525 We ended up really full after our meal. The price is so-so, but maybe try to just have their ala cartes though or maybe we're just too early that the marinates are not yet done hence the taste of the ribs. But will surely give this another go!

We ordered one of their best selling, baby back ribs "Brian's baby back ribs" and I must say.. It's so delicious! The meat was super soft and tender..You don't even wanna use the knife co'z it really fell of the bones when you separate the rib bone from the meat.. and also the mash potatoes was so flavorful you can taste the milk and butter from it!128523128523128523128523
P.s: their price menu in looloo was not updated last time i've searched for the price of brian's baby back ribs was 250.00 pesos.. But when we get their the price was increased and it costs 270.00 pesos.....but no worries!.. Still the best servings!!! 128522

We just used google maps to get here haha!

We waited for 30mins to get seated because it was a small house turned into a resto but it was nice. I like the concept. The parking was larger than the resto itself hehe 128517

We ordered the same orders we had in Casa Verde haha the steak, ribs and salad. I think their menus are identical 128517

The servings were generous, as always. We didnt finish our food. Haha tinake out na lang 128514

The place is totally instagrammable!

PS. Do you happen to know if they deliver? I want the enormous burger for Christmas 🤔

Good food, reasonable price, homey ambiance and a parking space --everything is just perfect! We ordered their signature Brian's Ribs plus the Best Sampler for our appetizer and they didn't disappoint! Succulent ribs oozing with their tasty sauce. Oh my G. I think I can finish a bucket of it in one sitting! It's more on the sweet side but heck, they can give Racks a run for their money. The appetizer sampler composed of bacon and cheese potato skins, buffalo wings and fried cheese are delish too. Big servings, good enough for sharing! Will definitely go back here. A hidden gem somewhere near the famous Maginhawa street. Automatically on my favorite list! Just come a bit earlier so you can get a table fast. ;)

I think I've tried almost everything on their menu 128514128514128514 But not because of their Brian's ribs and Mighty Ton (those are overrated btw). I just love their Seafood pasta, The Dax (steak) and every salad that they have!!! They have so many great food that are so underrated 128557 I don't like their overrated food bec. it's too sweet for my likings. Oh and please try their Bliss O Berries hehe a great dessert to end your meal!! 128149

Sundays are spent with family! 10084️ After my cousin's baby shower we decided to go to maginhawa, we are exactly 13 persons so we need to look for a big serving and for sharing foods. casa verde was not an option because we are already in maginhawa. We decided to visit their sister restaurant, The Porch by Casa Verde.

Place: 5 stars. No hobo, I felt i was in tagaytay that night. I love how the structure of the restaurant is. It was a classic house/restaurant. kudos to the architect tho

Food: 5 stars. Aside for having a big serving meal and reasonable price. they're mighty tons was superb delicious my dad can be a testimony about it. They're ribs was juicy and soft plus the ice tea that i love so much.

The porch is perfect for family gathering! 10084️

ps: It's my first time to write a review this long 9786️

I won't stop doing something just for the sake of enjoying such a privilege of no work this week. That something would probably indicate what I'm craving for. Heard of its great experience and great review on this app, tried for the first time The Porch by Casa Verde. At first, I was hesitant to have my dinner there since I am not familiar of its location and then just googled it. Since it was only a ride away from my residence, I did not refuse to take that special opportunity. The ambiance was okay, got shocked of its large area for parking. I thought somebody would confront us if what to order, I sensed it for like a minute knowing that it will have a pay as you order scheme. Good thing about that, staying and having dinner in their American inspired restaurant sort of has no service charged in your official receipt. Had Brian's Rib, Country Salad and Victoria's Secret Spaghetti. The experience was beyond my expectation, taste was then a satisfying one and the serving was indeed right enough for an experience with take out bag after dine in. This encounter is definitely for a tight budget without sacrificing food quality served on the table. I later served Death by Chocolate as dessert. The serving was gigantically placed on a plate. It was an ice cream with a twist, you will no longer need water to cleanse your tongue. Right amount of sweetness and satisfaction after having a great dish will surely surprise you. You'll surely recommend this place to other foodies out there.
