Italian inspired restaurant at I.T. Park - The Pyramid. The best Aglio Olio with Shrimp I’ve ever tasted! It’s an olive oil and garlic based pasta seasoned with salt and chili flakes, topped with sautéed shrimps and served with toasted bread (P245). The chili flakes gives the extra hot yummy tastes to the pasta! The best! Paired with their Margharita Pizza - an homemade tomato sauce mozzarella based pizza with fresh basil (P295). It was a perfect quick lunch with my team!

After living here in It Park for over 4 months , we finally decided to give The Pyramid a try , as they had a lunch time meal special going on

A choose of 2 meal plate A or plate B for 299 PHP with 2 Ice Teas
- we found out the meals are small in size , with the meat 1/2 the size than the meat shown on the promotion board
- the ice tea was served warm with little ice

You can generally eat you meals ground floor , or in the loft overlooking IT’ Park’s , Garden Bloc

This place has a massive collection of wines

For the prices & the meal sizes , most likely won’t come back

Found our on paying the bill - this place charges an unadvertised 5% - 10% serves charge on all meals & drinks

There’s a Pyramid in Cebu and it’s far from ancient. Ever since its opening, the Pyramid has been fully booked almost every night. On weekends, they do not even accept reservations anymore due to the volume of guests.

Its architecture and interior design are exquisite. During the day, the natural light shines through its triangular, glassed walls. At night, the purple-ish pink light design makes it standout, making it visible even from two blocks away. Its interiors are painted white with brown and black accents. The high ceiling gives it an even more beautiful and elegant vibe. There's no other place like it here in the country.

FOOD
I was quite surprised and confused with the menu. It’s quite short but diverse. It’s a mix of Filipino, Italian and American cuisine. There is not a lot to choose from to be honest. I ordered a Kimchi Burger for myself, while my friends got Carbonara and Baby Back Ribs.

Kimchi Burger Php245 11088110881108811088
I love kimchi and I love burger. But I never thought of combining these two together. Surprisingly, the flavors blended really well with the help of their sauce. The burger itself was seasoned well and juicy. The size was just right too. I’d come back just for this again next time.

Carbonara Php240 110881108811088
Tasted pretty normal to me. It was too milky and more on the bland size.

Baby Back Ribs Php250 + Extra rice Php30 1108811088
Skip this. Casa Verde’s is way better and cheaper.

Other dishes offered include the usual pizzas (i.e. Margharita, Hawaiian, 3 Cheese, Vegetarian), simple pasta dishes (i.e. Bolognese, Aglio, Genovese), Chicken Wings, Sisig, Panseared Salmon, Crispy Pata and Pork Chop.

They also serve several alcoholic drinks but since no one was willing to drink during the day, we passed on it.

SERVICE 1108811088
Oh my. Really bad service. I can never seem to call the attention of the servers and my order took longer to arrive compared to my friends’. They failed pretty bad on this aspect.

Overall, the restaurant has many rooms for improvement. If the service continues to be this bad and the food is not even that great, this may as well be a museum instead of a restaurant. But since it is still on its “soft opening”, I think it still has a pretty good chance of redeeming itself.
