It was Team Marketing dinner! Our planned was to get buffet in Four Seasons but it went out differently because our boss made us chose between hot pot and crab! Of course, we chose the latter because why not!

I was really excited because crabs are my favorite seafood next to shrimp. As far as I can remeber, I ate in Red Crab ages ago. That's why I want to dine here again.

127860FOOD & PRICE

✔ Crab Maritess (P220/100g)
We got almost 3kgs of crabs cooked in garlic and white wine. It was really the best! Their crabs were big and tasty. They provided crab cracker to make it easier to remove the meat from the shell. Super sulit even with the expensive price.

✔ Pork Sinigang in Sampalok Broth (P295)
My boss loves their Sinigang so much! When I tasted it, damn it was good! The taste was just right, not too sour. The veggies were fresh unlike the other restos where they reheat their food.

✔ All Meat sa Bilao (P1,288)
This Bilao Feast is consists of liempo, chicken, salted egg, okra, etc. which is good for 3-4 persons. I don't remember all because I was so focused on the crabs. :D This was good also, very Pinoy talaga. It came with one pitcher of ice tea and rice.

✔ Grilled Seafood Platter (P1,388)
I love the grilled squid! or I must say that I'm such a seafood lover! This platter is also good for large pax. Sulit just like the All Meat sa Bilao.

128077 SERVICE
It was the best. My boss loves their cook/chef because according to here, she cooked the best! The crew were also attentive, they gave out bibs once we started eating.

Overall, our dine was really awesome for the price we paid. It was just so expensive but sulit! Too bad, I don't have to much photos of our food to show.

This is not my first here but first time to order their shrimp with aligue and salted egg it is amazing i never it was that good the taste is so balance and it compliment each ingredient. The seafood pancit is equally great its not nakakaaumay and the soup pork sinigang the pork is so tender the veggies is perfectly cook and the soup is well mix the sourness is not overwhelming. I thought their only good in crab but there more than crab.

Today was a very disappointing evening at Red Crab. For the past 15 years, I've been ordering their crab maritess in multiple branches and in their sister companies like Seafood Island and Crustasia but for the very first time, their crab maritess tasted differently and in a negative way. The oil that they used didn't seem like it was olive oil and the taste was very disappointing. I don't mind paying for expensive food as long as it's worth it.

I decided to ask for a comment card as I wanted my complaint to be in black and white but the waitress said they didn't have one. I called for the manager but he was not present so I was able to talk to Lean, the acting supervisor. I explained my disappointment he told me that the recipe was not changed even if their menu was revised. The good thing was that he was apologetic about what happened.

I think I won't be coming back anymore.

Since we were able to purchase vouchers from MetroDeal, we decided to eat early dinner at The Red Crab. 1 voucher was P500 and it was equal to P1000 worth of food. The staff accommodated us even though we weren't able to call for reservations.

We had 2 orders of Chicharon Bulaklak which was kinda pricey at P245 per order. It was good and very crunchy so how could we resist? Next came the Crispy Pata (P525) and it was kind of small for its price. It was well-seasoned though, and cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside, and juicy and tender inside. We also ordered Pinakbet (P290) and it was okay. We loved that there were crispy tinapa flakes on top. The star of the show was definitely the Crab Maritess (P195/100grams). We got 2 orders of king crabs cooked in olive oil and topped with loads of toasted garlic bits. It was soooo good! I put some olive oil and lots of garlic on my plain rice, and in that moment, I was happy. 1 big crab was around P1500. So expensive but so good as well! For dessert, we ordered the Tocino del Cielo. At P155, it was pricey for a small piece of leche flan. Haha. Not the best that I've tasted though. I wish it was creamier. We also had Banana Caramel with Vanjlla Ice Cream (P145). That one, we really liked. The caramel sauce and the ice cream dusted with cinnamon powder made it better.

Our total bill was more or less P4400 (We were just 4 people lol) but thanks to the voucher, we only paid around P2900. Overall, it was a good dining experience and I'm looking forward to go back.

Generally we were satisfied with the crabs and the service. The food dod not take too long to arrive and we were vary happy with our meaty and tasty crabs. As can be seen from the photo above, nothing was left except for the shells! It was good! 128522

We will definitely be back for crabs here. 128055

Satisfied with the size of the cuts, however soup were all clams, like who took the meaty portion? Lol a bit pricey though, we're 5 en sworn like 495php each for the satisfying meal. Think it's good for family dining on a typical Sunday. But since we are stressed out medical students, we didn't mind so long as we get our hungry tummies filled with what we can call *real food* 128518 Cheerios!

Good thing about this place is it shares the place w its sis resto Red Crab so you can crossover order among the menus.

I ordered ff (for 2pax)

Chicharon bulaklak- vinegar tasted bland
Seafood salpicao-puro bell peppers/onions
Butter ginger prawns-yummy but konti
Garlic prawns-same
Bagnet w rice-puro rice
Ultimate bbq-puro taba
Dalandan shake
Coffee

Total bill - P2.7k

The price you pay for is not worth the serving size in my opinion.

Though the food is generally acceptable.

I honestly find all their food expensive! We came here for the frozen brazo de mercedes alone. I think this one is a winner though. 3 stars for this dessert but I cannot rate the restaurant wholly since we haven't tried the rest of their food. Can't give 5 stars for the price. But this dessert is to die for.
