I ordered Roasted Beef and Brown Rice as I thought it’s healthy as what was on the poster right in front of your face when you queue. I didn’t know it’s literally fresh from the fridge and they will microwave. What’s worst is that it wasn’t hot all throughout. There’s a sour taste to it already. I am so disappointed with TSG.

The Sandwich Guy has been in the building for quite a while but this is my first review of this quick option for merienda.

The place is a small outlet and not well-lit. Probably they wanted to have like a relaxing feel inside but it looks like too din for me.

I ordered the following:

Tommy Boy (P 75.00) 11088
A pasta meal made of fresh tomatoes and garlic sauteed in Garlic Oil. The serving size is small for a whole option. It was too garlicky for me. I should have opt to order the Tomato Basil instead. I can no longer do something about where they served it from. A microwaveable plastic container. 128517

Junior Country Tuna (P 61.00) 11088110881108811088
Good thing this half serving tasted good! I love the texture of the bread and the tuna spread was done well. I think the crushed pineapple made it tasted even better instead of just tasting pure mayonaise. What could have work better would be the temperature when it was served.

I am not sure if this is a franchise but I hope the management of The Sandwich Guy pay attention to the quality of food they are serving. But then, if you need a quick merienda option, then get a hexagon sandwich from this place.

*I cannot do justice to get a good photo! 128549

Tiny servings. Three spoonfuls of quinoa rice with tofu heaped on top for 100 bucks. And that's the "whole" salad pictured, 85 pesos, swimming in dressing but not enough leafy greens. Wonder what a "half" serving amounts to.

The server had a cold and wasn't wearing his sneeze guard. It was just hanging on his ear. He also handled food with his bare hands after taking my payment, but later put on one plastic glove. He a ate a piece of food he was preparing, too.

Food: ok. Had the junior lean pulled pork and it tasted good. Then again, dapat lang.

128540 Drinks: prepare to be disappointed. No iced coffee (even if it says in their menu), no artificial sweeteners (diabetics, bring your own Splenda), and no soft drinks (kahit na nasa menu). Wtf?! And their irritating Sandwich Guy jingle kept playing for a while. So yes, this is the last time I'll order from this joint.

In my utter disappointment, I went to Potato Corner and got myself some Wasabi Fries to make me feel better.
