I know. It's a sad looking Beefy Mushroom Potato. 128528

Not only that! It tasted bland, too. The only redeeming factor is the iced tea; or it could also be because I'm just thirsty? LOL!

I wonder what happened with Sandwich Guy. They are slowly deteriorating. The staff was not that attentive as well. It used to be a favorite snack place of mine.

Oh, well. 128543

Ordered the tuna sandwich for my mom and was supposed to get the egg sandwich for me, but apparently, there's no egg sandwich in this branch. I didn't want any other food here, so it took time before I was able to order an alternative. The cashier looked impatient, as I might be the person preventing her from her much awaited break. So I just hastily ordered carbonara. I wanted to add soda but, again, there's none, so I ordered iced tea instead.

Should have taken this as a sign to just back away and leave, but this is me, being stubborn. So go ahead and read on.

Anyway, I heard the cashier ask her colleague if there's still tuna sandwich and I clearly heard him answer, "last one." The cashier said she'd just serve the food to us once ready.

Lo and behold, the colleague served us food that we didn't order. I told him what I ordered and he said there was no tuna sandwich anymore. I suddenly snapped and was so irritated because: a) why not tell me that there was no tuna sandwich anymore, in the first place? b) did they think we're (my mom and I) going to split and eat 1 serving of carbonara between the two of us? and c) can you just say sorry instead of asking "Hindi po ba kayo nasabihan?" Eh malamang. Bakit ko hahanapin yung isa pang order kung nasabihan akong hindi available?

So I had the order cancelled, and I was fuming mad. This may seem shallow and not typically something I'll choose to fight for--but this bad service and experience struck a cord. I will not eat in this branch and in any other branch of Sandwich Guy ever again.

I like eating sandwiches at The Sandwich Guy because they make your sandwiches fresh, they taste good, and it doesn't cost that much.

Their sandwiches are not the only thing that is good. I also like their Baked Potatoes with Cheese and bacon. It's a perfect side dish with any sandwich that you order.

I ordered Lemon Chicken sandwich (Php110). It was light. Just enough for my appetite. They stated that they use Trader Joe's lemon curd. There was just a slight hint of it which is fine with me. The Cheesy Bacon Baked Potato (Php70) was ok. Not as salty as I imagined. My cousin had Italian style sandwich (Php95). She said it was good.

Great place to have a quick snack/meal. Their sandwiches are freshly prepared and take note they do not fry their food. They cook it by steaming which make it much healthier. Just had mushy bacon sandwich the other day. Mush try128077
