Here's another good find at the gastro park. This one is nitrogen infused ice cream.

128204128525 avocado @150php
This one is so creamy. You'll get to see them prepare this goody by adding the premixed avocado cream and the liquid nitrogen. This is better than outre-- when it comes to taste. Outre still wins when it comes to amount and toppings. 7th element is a bit boring. With this, the price should be lowered down. Talagang nakokontian ako.

A must buy since the place is hot. This would offer you refreshment aside from nothing sweet (🙄) ang the huge iced tea fish bowl from surfries. 128540

Was about to order then the staff turned his back to pick his nose.

And before that, he was swearing about something so I guess he's having a bad day.

Our Gastro Park Food Adventure will not be completed if we will not try any sweets around the food compound. There's Sweet Nothing which offers refreshments and shakes and The Seventh Element which offers Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream and I choose The Seventh Element because I already tried Sweet Nothing before.

For Php150.00 I got Avocado Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream. It taste like a real avocado with milk/cream. Avocado Ice Cream also help us to eliminate the spices in our tongue due to the Dynamite we ate from Tokyo Tempura. 127846

After our sinful and filling dinner at Locavore, we walked to Gastro Park for some desserts. Yeahp, that's our way of making our selves less guilty. Too much cholesterol and oil in our dinner banquet. 128514

Good thing Seventh Element and other shops in Kapitolyo's foodie park close late, so we were able to grab some desserts before calling it a night. I tried their salted caramel ice cream before, really liked it, and wanted to try their number one bestseller, orea and cream cheese. It was unfortunately unavailable on my first visit, so I was happy when it was available that night.

Cost 150 bucks for that cup of ice cream....and WORTH IT. the oreo and cream cheese taste was really good. A good combination and it was not too sweet. The texture of the ice cream was still consistently good.

I have to commend the staff for being friendly to the kulit bunch which was us. Not like other restaurants where you see grumpy servers because they're too excited to go home because it's almost closing time, I did not see them frown on a big group arriving. 128077🏻

So interested with trying the other stalls in the gastro park. Sweet nothing and that thai stall got my attention. There was also this stall named SURFRIES. Witty witty. 128514

We got invited to eat, drink, and be merry, for free, and have a taste of some of the offerings from the Gastro Park Kapitolyo establishments. 128541

From Seventh Element, we were served 3 of their 150-Peso flavors: Avocado, Strawberry, and Oreo and Cream Cheese. I liked both the Strawberry and Oreo and Cream Cheese flavors. I'm not exactly a fan of Oreo but the taste of cream cheese was just sooo good. I wasn't able to try the Avocado. I'll have to go back to try it and the other flavors too. 128517

As I mentioned in my previous review, the texture of the ice cream is very smooth. Its unique creaminess is a result of the rapid freezing that leaves fewer ice crystals to be formed.

I've visited this during my Kapitolyo food trip with HS friends. The Seventh Element is an ice cream store that uses liquid nitrogen to have your ice cream done from scratch.

I'm a fan of chocolate + mint so I ordered their Mint Chocolate flavor. It's priced at 160php, if I remember it correctly. It was so creamy. Very flavorful. I liked it. I'll try the Oreo and Cream Cheese next time. 128517

I really find it cool that they're bringing Science within reach. Interesting, huh.

P.S. Why seventh element? It's probably because Nitrogen is element no. 7 in the periodic table. It has an atomic number of 7. You know, Chemistry. 128584

5stars for the seventh element!!! The avocado ice cream was indeed flavorful. It's like you're eating a real avocado mixed in some milk and a hint of sweet.

The cream is beaten or blended in a mixing bowl and while at it, liquid nitrogen is poured into the mixture causing the cream to instantly freeze! Ice cream!! No ice needed!

It lands on your tongue without the discomfort of "cool", and then as it reaches your palette it feels silky and smooth and it just glides down your throat and into your fully satisfied stomach.

Loved it!!

After our Japanese dinner in Haru Sushi Bar, the gang headed over to Gastro Park. It was my first time there and the raves of Jairus d. made us all want to try what Seventh Element has to offer. The place was packed but since it was spacious and the stalls were all lined up towards the sides, there was a lot of space for tables and chairs in the middle. We found Seventh Element and checked out what flavors they were offering.

It wasn't my first time to see and taste ice cream that was churned out from liquid nitrogen. We've seen this and tried it in Mercato sometime last year. But seeing it again and again I guess will always be a treat. There's just something magical with that cloud of cold nitrogen swarming out of the mixing bowl as the mixer starts to churn.

The space of Seventh Element was clean and simple. They have the basics - liquid nitrogen tank, mixer with mixing bowl, liquid ice cream mixture. I tried the Salted Caramel since their Oreo Cream Cheese was sold out. So they pour the liquid mixture into the mixer with paddle attachment > pour in the liquid nitrogen and churn until the ice cream has been formed. The result? A smooth cold concoction! Liquid Nitrogen boils at a very low temperature and that only means it's super cold! Since it's super cold, the liquid ice cream mixture doesn't need a lot of time to freeze into the cold treat. Rapid freezing of the fat and water molecules means that there is a lesser chance for ice crystals to form thus resulting in a creamy and smooth texture.

The Salted Caramel ice cream was good! It wasn't as good as Carmen's Best or Merry Moo but for it's price and quantity, it's worth it. It had a rich caramel flavor, though not the super burnt sugar type. The balance of sweet and salty was on point. It will actually leave you wanting more.

If ever you'll find yourself in Gastro park, go ahead and give Seventh Element a try.

Yesterday, I met up with other |ooloo reviewers for a Kapitolyo food trip. I arrived late in the afternoon and I've already missed a few stops that I haven't been to yet.

So during dinner, Jairus d Reich T and Abe C were sharing to us latecomers, myself, Clarissa P Raymond P and Roy Lambert T, where they've been to. Among those places, Jairus kept raving about Seventh Element. He's tried a couple of flavors and he was willing to go back so we can try them as well.

I initially wanted to try Oreo and Cream Cheese but when we got there, it was already sold out. I tried the Blueberry Cheesecake instead. So what happens is, in a stainless steel bowl, they place the prepared ice cream in liquid form and mix it together with the liquid nitrogen. As they get whipped up, the liquid nitrogen rapidly freezes the ice cream and it is ready in a minute or two. I was surprised that it had a really smooth texture as opposed to how it looks. Their ice cream mix was delicious too, with a tad hint of berry sourness.

Ice cream goodness after our superb lunch at Locavore!

I was uber excited to try The Seventh Element. After all, this will be my first encounter with the awesomeness of molecular gastronomy. Liquid nitrogen ice cream sounds nothing but cool. Include numbers of excellent review surely adds up to the hype.

The place is nestled in one of the foodie establishments of Gastro Park. They are located at the far end.

As soon as my eyes caught the vendor, I didn't waist any second and ordered their salted caramel. Watching the process of making ice cream is part of the experience. So be sure to pay attention specially the part when cold plums of smokes are starting to come out from the mixer.

It's something you don't see everyday folks.

The finish product is not too appealing like the ones I get at Bono or Merry Moo. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first. I was proven wrong immediately after I took a spoonful in my mouth.

It's sooo delissssshhh!128525 It's more silky and consistently creamy compared to my previous ice cream experience. Traces of ice crystals are non-existent. The rapid freezing really makes the difference.

I was really sold that I bought another flavor. This time I tried oreo and cream cheese. So awesome too! The cream cheese replaced the vanilla flavor and elevated the taste a notch higher. Noms!

Nothing but love for The Seventh Element! I shall return!

On a Kapitolyo foodie trip with Jairus d and Reich T (at the time, wala pa sina Ruth D, Clarissa P, Raymond P and Roy Lambert T), we went to Gastro Park for dessert. One of these liquid nitrogen ice cream places, but in a food Park set up. It was kinda cool to try their stuff.

From the ref they get a cup of liquid version of whatever flavor you ordered, in my case, salted caramel. They put it in what looks like a blender or processor and their liquid nitrogen kicks in... Like dried ice smoke filling in and solidifying your flavor of choice.

The salted caramel is quite good. Very very creamy. The lady said the advantage of this method of ice cream is that it allows the ice cream to be really creamy. So yeah if that's the advantage, it tastes spot on! It lacks the strong caramel taste that my fave salted caramel of Sebastian's has, but it also works. Though I had to add the caramel. I also got to try their best seller, Oreo + Cream Cheese, which Jai ordered. Yummy good, too. So I didn't know that cream cheese ice cream works, too, with Oreo. 128077

Seventh Element.  The liquid nitrogen ice cream joint in Gastro Park.  We went here after our sumptuous lunch at Locavore.

I wasn't really expecting much since i wasnt impressed with Outre (too sweet).  I got the mint chocolate chip for obvious reasons (aside for my love for matcha,  i like chocolate mint).  It's a bit pricey for php 160 but i tell you that's it is worth every penny.   Not too sweet and weally weally creamy.  The creamy consistency is due to the use of liquid nitrogen as per the dude manning the counter.

If you are in the Pasig Area,  Seventh Element is worth a visit.

Though it's cold at night, the scorching afternoon heat reminds us that summer is near. It is the signal to prepare the bods for the beach but it is also a sign for... ice cream!

Hello, The Seventh Element!

I've read several good reviews about this nitrogen ice cream and it sure made me curious. I promised myself that I'll try this place out when I visit Gastro Park. And I don't break promises. 128513

After a hearty meal, T and I decided to cap our lunch with some sweets. I decided to go for Oreo and Cream Cheese while T went for Avocado. Both flavors are their bestsellers.

One cup costs PHP150 and it seems steep compared to its competitors. But since it's the only ice cream stand in Gastro Park, it doesn't really matter to the food park's patrons.

It took the staff a couple of minutes before serving our cups of ice cream. And when it was finally served, I was a bit disappointed that our cups were not overflowing with ice cream.

But a spoonful of ice cream changed my disappointment to delight.

Sure, the serving size might seem a bit stingy for the price. But The Seventh Element made up for it with quality. The ice cream scoops we ordered were both rich in flavor and very creamy.

Oreo and Cream Cheese added a bit of twist to the typical cookies and cream. There was a tinge of cream cheese flavor which reminded me of red velvet (but with crunch).

Avocado was smooth and creamy too. Tastewise, it was slightly better than Arce Dairy, my favorite avocado ice cream brand. I'd choose this one over Oreo and Cream Cheese if I want something to cleanse my palate.

The Seventh Element has tickled my soft spot for desserts. I will definitely be back again.

I love their Oreo & Creamcheese! It is said to be their best seller and it did not disappoint. I know a lot of places with Instagram-worthy plating of their food but the taste doesn't really give it justice. Well, The Seventh Element nitrogen ice cream is not like that. Go give it a shot. I also liked their Dark Chocolate flavor 128077128077 They also have other flavors such as Avocado and Blueberry Cheesecake.

This place is one of the newest additions to Gastro Park in Kapitolyo. It is another one of those liquid nitrogen ice cream places so I really wanted to see what would make them so special. Oh, and they're called the seventh element because the 7th element in the periodic table is well, yeah. Hahaha. I felt like a bobsi when my friends pointed it out after I mentioned that their name was cool. 128514

They only had a few flavors when I went, all priced at 150 pesos. Aside from ice cream though, they also offer coffee, cookies, suman and taho. So, they appear to be appealing to Filipinos specifically with their desserts.

We had to wait a while though since their liquid nitrogen delivery was late. We were eventually able to order when it came. We settled on their Oreo with cream cheese and the Banana choco chip ice cream. As usual, fun to watch as they made it in front of you. As for the end product, fairly decent amount in a cup but I do have to hand it to them: they didn't seem to skimp on the ingredients. Each cup was packing! Each flavor also tasted really rich and indulgent. Oh and the server (who was also one of the owners) was really nice and helpful. 128077
