I lovely place to hv breakfast ... Rustic old charm with stellar service ... They give in to all u whimps

Caesar salad & French toast are always a good choice if u want a light but not too light breaky

Loaded with fresh crips veggies & laden with this flavorful ceasar dressing

They use croissant for their French toast ... It's extra flaky & buttery with fresh sweet tarty mangoes, chocolate syrup, maple syrup & the powered sugar whipped butter... What's not to like???

Late post 128584

❌ Pork sinigang- it wasn't that sour 128532 Meat wasn't even tender. Ugh.

128077 Grilled Chicken Wrap- I liked it. The chicken should've been sliced thinner so it can be wrapped properly.

128077 Kare-kare- still my parents' favorite.

128077 Pancit bihon- how come they don't serve it with dinner rolls anymore?! 128527 cost cutting? Or they forgot to include it in our take out bag??

The waiter forgot to put the buko pandan salad I ordered too.

This is why I was excited for breakfast today! 127856

I was resisting the temptation to buy a cake at Polo Club yesterday but this caught my attention. Chocolate + peanut butter?! Sold. 128513

This Peanut Butter Cake is from Dolcetti Pastries. The choco cake was fudgy and bittersweet. There were choco morsels in some parts of the cake. They probably didn't melt it properly. 128541 The peanut butter cream has ground nuts mixed in. I'd prefer they add something on top because it's too plain. Perhaps some peanut butter cups? 9786

A slice can be cloying and very filling because the chocolate is too rich. Pair it with a cup of brewed coffee. 9749

Before the long Holy Week break, my dad dropped by Manila Polo Club to order a whole Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake. Just perfect to satisfy my cravings for sweets.10084

After an early visit to MPC, we got some food for lunch coz we're too lazy to cook at home.

Grilled Salmon Belly- one of my favorites! Love the sauce that came with it. Not sure what it was exactly, but it tasted like teriyaki.

Hainan Chicken- Fail!128547 My sister said it tasted like chicken tinola. Hahaha.

I love the view of the pool from the Sports Lounge. The windy, cold morning weather made it even better. 128522 Got an appointment last January 11 at the salon but since they made me wait for an hour, just had to stay here and wait while enjoying their free wifi.

My dad also ordered food for takeout. Seafood chowder, bagnet, beef salpicao and pork bbq with peanut sauce. Everything we got were yummy!!128523 They forgot to put the crackers for my soup though. 128542

Just had to finish our consumables before 2013 ends so we ordered some items at their Sports Lounge before Christmas Eve. 127877

- Garden Pizza- I forgot what it's called exactly but it basically didn't have any meat. Thin crust pizza with cheese, mushrooms and basil. Healthy option and not oily. Crust was not as crunchy as Shakey's or other commercial pizza.
- Crispy pata- konti lang the meat 128532
- Buffalo Wings- didn't try it. Hehe. My sister didn't like it coz it was too spicy.
- Mango crepe- pretty good but I wish they serve it with ice cream. Serving was small too for P160 (or P180?) 127846
- Beef Salpicao- yummy! 128077

We were supposed to order puto bumbong and bibingka but their booth was still closed.128530

Wait staff were nice and attentive.9757️Look for their head waiter, Mang Efren. 128079

98889888️ Warning: this will ruin your diet. Eat at your own risk. 🚫

Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake-- one of the desserts sold at Manila Polo Club. It's from Sugarbee by Jenny Silayan. Picked this as one of our desserts for Noche Buena. 128522

Too sweet. Too chocolatey. So sinful. Definitely fattening. 128557 But I LUUUVEEET!128525

What I like about homebakers is they (or
most of them) doesn't scrimp on ingredients. Look at the thick layers of chocolate fudge in between moist chocolate sponge cake. 127851127874 No hint of saltiness though, but I love chocolate so I don't care!128541

Jennie V Theresa L Jairus d you'll probably like this! Hahaha not sure though about the exact address where you can order Sugarbee, but I think it's in Makati and they join bazaars too. 128523 (ask Google nalang. Lol.)

This was taken a couple of months ago. Took a leave from work and went to my optha for a check up. I headed straight to MPC after for quick lunch. Tried one of their quartely specials, the Pulled Pork Sandwich.

It was more on the sweet side but kinda good naman. Served on a bun with grilled corn and coleslaw.

What I loved more is the view of the pool while eating! 128525

Pili Crack Pie by The Red Hot Oven 128525

Bought a whole Pili Crack Pie at MPC's Sports Lounge few weeks ago. They sell different cakes from famous homebakers and this particularly caught my attention. I heard it's a local version of the famous Momofuku milk bar in the US. Now i have high expectations on this pie... but thank God it didn't disappoint!

The pie has a toasted oat crust with a gooey filling topped with loads of pili nuts. It's sweeeeet and I loved it! 128151 I suggest you serve it frozen to lessen the sweetness. It's so addictive like "crack" (hence the name), you'll find it hard to stop at 1 slice. You can also serve it ala mode to make it more sinful 128514

Super sulit for P750. They also have the regular Crack Pie but I'm more interested to try their Peanut Butter crack pie next time. 128541128055
