Theodore was a great place to stay in Tagaytay. It was right in front of Ayala Serin. The place was peaceful.
But i think the best part is its place behind the hotel. You can hangout here with an amazing view of Taal Lake. The vibe's refreshing and romantic. I recommend it for both families and couples.

I have the exact same photo as JP G and I wanted to use that photo sana. E pride e. Char.
I also came across this hotel thanks to Deal Grocer. We got the Moorish Superior room that had a king size bed, another bed on the side and small chair. No tub in this room, just a shower. We had a balcony facing the city. The voucher also came with a facial, but thankfully the receptionist told us we could get a 30-minutes massage instead of it, which we gladly took. We may not have taken a Vista Deluxe, but the Superior Rooms were huge and lovely too.
The hotel is very accessible and convenient that it's right across Ayala Serin. 🏼 You won't miss it, I promise. Waze-dependent kasi ako e, but for this particular trip I didn't use any GPS to dictate us where to go. Upon entering, the place is very quaint, hip but also elegant. It doesn't have a gym or pool, but the fact that it has a view of Taal still makes it an awesome place to stay in Tagaytay!
We came to the hotel earlier than standard check-in time but the receptionist was kind enough to give us our rooms early. I told them we didn't mind waiting naman so long as we can leave our car and explore the mall across first, but still she went out of her way to give us our room key immediately.
As for the 30-minutes massage, it was ok. Nowhere wow, but not bad either. So yeah, it was ok. It was a treat to have as an inclusion in the stay.
The breakfast that came with it the next day was AMAZING! Naunahan lang kami, but you could actually enjoy breakfast in the kubo by the garden, with the view of Taal! Ok na rin because we had quality time in the kubo when we were given our welcome drinks upon check-in. Anyhoo, back to bfast... The Angus Beef Tapa was absolutely delicious and my bf's CPA plate with 3 huge pieces of hash browns was also very very tasty!!!
Let's talk about the bed. It was nice and high but it wasn't as comfortable as it looked. And the pillows were ok too. I still enjoyed my sleep though, so it's still a-ok! 🏼
All in all, I'd come back here but probably still using a discount / package voucher. Otherwise, considering their published rates and the limited amenities, it's quite pricey.

I actually liked our second room better but this one was bigger :p it practically had 3 beds! One near the window, the king/ queen sized bed and the sofa in front of it! They also have a bath tub, bidet (happy puwet) and hot/cold shower.
What's cool about this place is that all their rooms are different from one another and some have kinky bathrooms haha!
I like how the staff of this hotel makes sure that their guests have a pleasant stay. We were on our way to the rooftop and one of the girls suddenly came rushing and opened the door for us. The waiter in the restaurant even mentioned what we shouldn't order that day because the meat was tough. We even had free facials thanks to the voucher we got and I loved the experience.
I wouldn't mind staying here again ️

How can you not love this view? This was our window view from our vista suite.
We got this boutique hotel deal from deal grocer as we're staying here for a couple of days for our kabarkada's wedding (and for some R&R as well). The place isn't too shabby. It might not have the usual big item amenities like a gym and a pool but they make up for it with a well curated lobby and hallway, amazing service (the crew were following us all around to assist us), and Their rooms are very modern and homey. Did you know that each room is unique? No 2 rooms would have the same design. The Theodore vista room had a huge king size bed, a sofa bed, a side bed fronting the garden, a terrace with tables fronting Taal, and a huge CR with a apple green bathtub (yes, a striking color but it works... I kinda dozed off for an hour will soaking in the tub ). Our room can actually host a family hahaha. Beds were fluffy but the duvets can use some sprucing up.
The deal we got was awesome. Not only does it give us a vista room for 50% off, it includes breakfast, a facial (per day), and discounts for any other service I get. I think I got what I paid for. Haha.
Ps: there were so many police crew up front so we felt super safe. There must be a high profile person sleeping here too to get that much security... Or was it for us? #asa

We got a voucher from a deal site so rate was discounted. The room wasn't very hotel boutique-ish, bathroom didn't have a tub too but the bed was really comfortable, king size and beddings were fluffy and soft. I really hate it when we even have better duvets at home. dining area wasn't impressive too, although the restaurant at the lobby was quite nice.
Would go back if we chance upon a better deal and maybe we can try their vista rooms (with Taal lake view).
