I've been to Boracay ten times already. In each trip, we'll usually stay in more than one hotel so that we can try different places. I've already stayed at The Tides Hotel for three times. Every visit, like the previous, is nothing short of being impressive, leaving us with the yearning to return as soon as possible.

One thing that I love the most about Tides is its location. Yes, it is not beachfront. The good thing is that it is at D'Mall. It is at the heart of where the action is. Some of the island's most popular restaurants and bars are just a few steps outside the hotel. All guests enjoy free beach beds in front of Epic.

From the service to their facilities, Tides will surely be an impressive choice for accommodation. They have a rooftop pool. This is where we spend our afternoons while enjoying their Happy Hour. They also have an in-house restaurant. This is where the buffet breakfast is served. They have an in-house spa, as well as a fitness center. They even have computers on the ground floor.

We booked an Essential Room and made a specific request to be given one with balcony. They gladly gave us what we requested. There is nothing fancy about the room, but it is complete with all the things that you will need.

Very posh hotel though it's not beach front. But the rooms are spacious, service is fantastic, and the sunset is awesome when viewed at the pool located at their rooftop. The bfast is also great though it's not too varied. They have reasonable rates and it's just in front of Hobbits in D'Mall. Fantastic stay and will go back again here soon!

Whenever I'm having a beach get-away, I almost always choose a hotel that's not too crowded or noisy. So when the girlfriend requested for us to stay at The Tides, I was a bit hesitant... It was, after all, nestled right smack in the middle of everything.

But when I saw the whole place, I changed my mind. It was the perfect location. Whenever we got hungy, we just went down and there we'd find a thousand of choices. If we wanted to just laze out, the hotel doesn't have its own beachfront but they're affiliated with Epic so we had the privilege of lying on a couple of their beach chairs. And when we got bored of the beach and the saltwater, the hotel had its own bar/lounge that played really cool music (jazz/house/rnb) and pool on the rooftop, so we just went up and stayed there as much as we wanted to. The food was good, too. 128077128522

The room was very nice with its modern minimalist interiors and decors. The bathroom was also quite good, it had hot water and bidet (which is important). They also did housekeeping every day and never failed to replenish the toiletries and compli bottles of water. 128077

The whole hotel had this cute phrases all over. And it was designed with plenty of space in mind. It wasn't cramped up like the other hotels in the area.

Service-wise, they're excellent. Whenever we had requests, they got to it immediately. The staff were very friendly as well. So, yes, I had a fine time staying at this place. 128077128522

Loving the ambience of this hotel. The room smells fresh and clean. The hotel's design is very simple yet elegant. Looking forward to the buffet breakfast tomorrow. Hope it wouldn't disappoint. 128568

The hotel is good. Room is ok. Although bathroom is a little bit small. But service is good. Staff are nice. The bar and pool on the roof top is perfect for partying at night. And their Mojitoi is soooo good. :) Refreshing!

Nice place, big rooms, accessible. People at the front desk are accommodating, but those at the restaurant seem to give higher priority to foreign guests.

The stools at the reception are very cute and comfortable. Notes written at seemingly random places (staircase, wall, ceiling) are witty.

The Solstice bar is very quiet--not the typical Boracay nightlife but great for intimate bonding. Pool at the rooftop not so fancy, gives you a view not of the beach but of the roofs of the establishments in D Mall. Breakfast buffet is really sulit! Wifi connection only good at the lobby.
