We ordered their Melbourne burgers and squash soup with salad. The burgers were juicy however it was not seasoned well so it tastes bland. Also the server is not very accommodating and don't even suggest what's their best seller. They should hire a staff that is friendly to the customers.

At first, we thought this place was just a meat supplier where you can get Australian beef to cook at home. But then, a friend told us that it is actually a restaurant and suggested we eat there.

The Black Angus Ribeye, cooked medium rare, is absolutely divine! The burgers were also mouth-watering so we ordered that as well. I'm not really a burger person, but I loves their Melbourne burgers! Yumm!! Meat here is great, perfectly paired with Australian red.

Staff is also very nice! After we finished our 1st bottle of red, they allowed us to bring in a bottle and waived corkage!

Definitely coming back here!

A hole in the wall steak house beside A. Venue mall is a sure standout for quality meat and affordable price! Burgers are soooo good too! Definitely true to it's name.

we kept saying 'ang sarap' 'sobrang sarap' 'grabe ang sarap' during the first 15 minutes of our meal. That was how good our dinner went.

Orders:
Black angus ribeye steak (P950)
Crispy bacon and cheese burger (P385)
Melbourne burger (P425)

Totally had a foodgasmic experience! My friends and I tried this melt-in-your-mouth Sher Wagyu Ribeye steak plus veggies and japanese rice (priced at Php1395), and the Melbourne Burger -pure angus beef patty, with honey-cured bacon, caramelized onions with chips and dips on the side (priced at Php425). They also have a wide selection of coffee variants, and their chocolate cake is just about the perfect dessert!

Grass-fed Black Angus ribeye steaks for under P1,000 in the metro?

Apparently such a dreamy place does exist!

For P950, you can get a 250g of this wonderful meat, topped with garlic parsley butter, and served with Aussie fries and salad.

This is a simple, no-frills place. They actually share the space with their speciality steak shop, Melbourne Prime, in case you'd like to buy the steaks and grill them yourself at home. So don't expect any fine dining white tablecloth setting here. Just steaks and steak sandwiches like Angus roast beef, cheesesteaks and burgers.

My experience was wonderful. First of all, it was late afternoon when I finally found the place (it's right beside A. Venue Mall) and the sign read "Closed"! I was devastated as I was really looking forward to getting my meat on. Maybe they saw the horrific look on my face from inside because out of nowhere, the door opened, and a nice lady appeared.

I asked, "Hello. Are you all closed?" (Pretending I don't know how to read. Haha.)

She says, "Yes, but we'll open for you." and invites me to come in.

I didn't think twice.

All their meat is 100% Australian grass-fed angus beef. I couldn't decide whether to try their burger or their cheesesteak. So instead, I chose their Black Angus Ribeye. It was lovely.

As I got closer to finishing my steak, I was even offered a free dessert! Their desserts come in shot glasses and I picked the Apple Crumble. Delicious.

Of course, the overall service was excellent. I was the only one there! They were very attentive. 128512

It was nice of them to let me in at an odd hour. Really unexpected. And the dessert on the house was a sweet surprise.

I definitely plan on going back to try their burgers and sandwiches. 128077

The Melbourne Prime group, distributors of fine Aussie meat (beef and lamb), have ventured into the food service business with their first restaurant, The TrueGrill Meat Lover's Cafè.

As its name suggests, this place is all about meat, wonderful meat! Menu items include burgers, angus steak sandwiches, streaks and lamb. Beautiful stuff, really.

The Bacon Cheeseburger was great - a thick angus party with several slabs of smoked bacon, all for about 300 bucks. The steak sandwich was quite good as well.

As this was the first time I visited it, I think I'll go back for the Black Angus Ribeye. Php 950 for 250g, fixins included.

Meat Lover's Cafè. Can't get any more specific than that. Mmmmeat.
